AFM ~ I had my consult on March 1st. My RE is just all business and has no bed side manors; however she got us our little boy, so I will be sticking with her.
I need to get tons of b/w, 2hr glucose test and DH needs s/a. Just waiting for AF so I can start BCP.

Hi everyone, DW and I just went through our first ivf cycled and it resulted in a chemical
Our dr is really thorough and has ordered a whole slew of tests before our next cycle so we know exactly what we are dealing with. We are dealing with male factor, both 33 right now. We still have 4 5 day embryos on ice but I think we are going to try one more fresh cycle before we go to the ice box. Hoping all test come out ok and we should be beginning our next cycle in late march/early April...

Hoping to be cycle with you ladies in April. After much thought and alot of prayers we have decided to go the donor egg route. We have it narrowed down between 2 donors. If I choose one I will start in April(will be her first donation), if I choose the other one she is not available again until July(has a very high success rate). Decisions, Decisions!

Hey Ladies...I received my phone call today...My Pre-Baby cocktails package gets home delivered on Weds the 9th, the same day my doc wants to run a mock IVF transfer to make for a smoother xfer in April!

What does "chemical" mean?
What is Lupron? when is it suggested?

Hopethisworksm I am really sorry about your chemical pg, i know how hard that must be for the both of you to be so close. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that all your tests come out alright so you can start your fresh cycle as planned.

Dallas You are faced with a very tough choice. I am sure part of you wants to do your cycle in April, and do this as soon as possible coz its soooooo hard to wait... But your April donor has no history for you to make an informed decision. And on the other hand you have a donor with a high success rate who's only available in June . Its a tough call sweetie. But i am sure you will make the right decision. Good luck.

Blaqdymun Wow, exciting times ahead. You are on your way.. All the best with the mock ivf transfer. I hope my new re does one for me as well. My first re told me i had a tilted uterus so i think a mock transfer is a great plan. Baby dust to you.

I've been on the pill for 17days now, and i am having slight spotting. My re told me to expect spotting, but i thought it would only start when my AF is due. And AF is only due on the 18th... Is it normal to start spotting only 17 days after my last AF while on BCP

Thanks for the info...SORRY...all this is so new to me. Although, I am going thru this procedure it still doesn't feel real. It almost feels like a bad dream. I had a child 18yrs ago naturally, with no complications, and then I meet & marry a wonderful man and can't just "naturally" conceive is just so shocking to me! I never thought I would be in this position but here am; I am trying to digest all this info &its so much to consume!!!

Blaqdymun ~ No need for apologies, this is my second cycle and I am just as confused as with the first cycle. I still use the Abbreviations Definitions list, someone else pointed it out to me, and it was a big help.

Lee ~ thanks for the AF dance. I use ticker factory. Under signature you have to 1. uncheck disable bbcode 2. when you paste the link from ticker factory you need to delete everything before the first [img].

Im so glad to see there is an April/ May cycle group! Im just waiting on AF to get started!! Im so excited but so nervous at the same time!! I think im really putting all my eggs in the "IVF basket." I have a good feeling and alot of PMA !!! I has to work for us because look what we are going through physically and emotionally to be mommies!!! I feel like this is going to be a lucky cycle for us!!!!
