Hi girls......sorry I have been mia.....we had to go to florida bc there was a death in my husbands family and then I got a baaad cold!I have been stalking the boards but didn't have time to write! Anyway, just found out I will be having the ER on Thursday...ahhhhhh so nervous....I hate anesthesia.....hoping it goes ok.....doc doersnt know when he will transfer! Trying to keep a positive attitude!!

So now we will be letting those 3 day frosties grow to day 5 and transferring whatever makes it along with the morula. I am so worried about how those embies survive the thaw! Its going to be a stressful cycle...but then again they are ALL stressful cycles.

I'll be rooting for your embies to thaw beautifully, I am sure they'll be fine

AFM- I received my calendar and did my precycle visit today to go over it, I thought I stopped bcps tonight however I have another one to take tomorrow then Im finished with those. Then dr appt on Wednesday for u/s and bw. Then if everything is ok then I start stims on Sunday. WOOOHOOO! Bring those shots on!! Good luck everybody! Cant wait to watch these follies grow!!!

How exciting, to have things moving along now. Congrats on taking your last bcp, welcome to my world. The waiting for AF begins. Maybe we can do the AF dance together and then start cheering those follies along!!

AFM I am now in Cape Town, havent had time for sight seeing yet. I arrived really late on Monday night, my last flight to CT was delayed. Had my RE appt early yesterday and got my bag of meds and calender... WOW!!! My niece came with me for support and she was shocked at the different meds that were in my bag ... I was just excited to be starting .

I took my last bcp on Monday so now i am waiting for AF so i can stims the next day, on CD2.. BFP here we come

Hiya All! Everyone is so close to starting, how exciting! I am super overwhlemed at work (I know, not good right as I start to cycle) but whatever. It just sucks b/c I don't have much time to come on here and keep up with everyone.

Mom4sure- Congrats on getting to Capetown! I bet it is warm and beautiful there!

Tiffany- so sorry to hear there was a death in the family and you got a cold on top of that! But good luck on your upcoming ER!

Rio- So happy you are stalking me my fellow bumpin' 08 mama!

Blissful- Yay for transferring 3! I hope that increases your chances of one healthy baby sticking for you!

AFM- So much to report. I got my big box of meds today. I also went to RE for bw and u/s. I asked for my AF count and it was a minimum of 17, atleast 10 on one side and atleast 7 on the other, probably both on more. Now we just have to hope we will have enough spermies to match all those easter eggies! My lining looked good, no cysts, just have to wait for the official word on e2 levels tomorrow, but they told me they have no reason to expect they would have down anything abnormal. I have seen crazier things happen, so I won't be satisfied until I hear from them tomorrow afternoon. But, if they are right and all is well, then I start meds on Friday...3 days away!!! My protocol is to drop from 20 units of lupron down to 5, 375 of follistim and one vial of menopur. They told me today that they no longer have people "mix" their meds, which means I will be doing 3-4 injections each night...grrrr. But it will all be worth it!

So I will try to report after phone call tomorrow, just not sure I can get back on here. But I will be in touch within the next few days.

Hi everybody!

I hope you don't mind me joining this thread, I have been away from the board for awhile. I was expecting twins from IVF #1 due in Aug 2011 but I had a MC at the end of January, I was 9wks. It has taken me awhile to feel ready but my DH and I are going to have an FET on April 11th. I am VERY nervous and super excited! This board was a HUGE help to me before and I am looking forward to having all of you wonderful women to go through this crazy journey! It looks like there has been tons of activity on this thread so I am now going to read through all the posts. Oh, is anyone else doing an FET? My doctor seems to be very opimistic since I was able to get pregnant last time and we are transfering a 5 day perfect blast (our one and only ). We shall see!

Michele...I think alot of us get busy and find it hard to find time to read and post. I know I often dont post at all...unless I have time to write to lots of people. And, that usually takes me at least an hour uninterrupted to do. Kinda hard with a very demanding 2 yr old. It shouldnt be that way. We are all in the same boat and this is a very large group. We should just make it a pack here that everyone "knows and understand" that if any of us get really busy in our lives and all you have time for...is a quick update and no personals...that it is okay, no big deal, and completely understandable. No apologies necessary. AWESOME follie count!! Woohoo!!! I used to do 4 shots a day, too...but not with this protocol. You can do it.

Mrice...Hope the headaches are getting better. It takes me about 3 days to feel "normal" again...after stopping caffeine. I've been in bed at 8:30 every night, too. lol

AF arrived so I was able to schedule my FET for 4/21. It is really nice to be able to choose the day you want to transfer!
