Anton -- I actually didn't have an EMB (endometrial biopsy, right?). I had a D&C with my laparoscopy in December. I had a fribroid removed as well as a bit of endo cleaned up and a cyst removed from my ovary. My OB also did a D&C and I really think that assisted my implantation. Good luck my dear, I am really pulling for you this time!

Sunshine1576 -- Way to keep the PMA. I'm very hopeful for your IUI. Grow follies grow!

mom4sure -- Yes! I did fertility acupuncture and credit it for getting me pregnant, twice! I did miscarry the first one but I think it's really important to do acupuncture regularly (I went once a week) and then the day of ET get it immediately before and immediately after. This last time I had the acupuncturist come to the fertility clinic to do it. I only had one 3 day embryo to transfer and it worked! She was awesome and it cost me $275. Totally worth it.

faithful -- Thanks. I see you too had an awful late miscarriage. Just know that your next pregnancy will be great.

lou - I've had a couple of acupunture sessions. I did initally want to start when me and DH rang the unit to start this treatment but we had a beaverement in the family and I didn't get round to arranging it. I had my first session a few weeks ago. I had a session the afternoon of my ET on Wednesday and I'm going for another session on Friday. I've been wearing two blankets to keep my abdomen warm! :D This is my first time of having acupuncture while going through treatment - fingers crossed we get a BFP from it :D

MooreBaby, Keep on Growing Follies!

Dallas, Glad you recovered okay with the Lupron med., and can't wait for you baseline next Tuesday!

Vicki, Sweet Potato Buddy-
Enjoy being PUPO, and I have everything crossed that the acupuncture relaxes you and you get a BFP. :D

Blissful, Team Green Gardener-
Raw juicing, are you referring to oranges, maybe lemons... I'm like you, really enjoy fresh organic veggies and walking in Walmart last Sunday, the seed packet section was practically cleaned out-- growing your own vegs has really caught on!

Thank you ALL for the well wishes with my new job...should be able to balance my doc appts so much better now, especially since I told my new boss upfront all about my fertility treatment before she hired me on.

Hi :-) SnS stands for Stick (b/w) & Stir (u/s). Someone put that together on 1 of the boards I was on last year. It's pretty good, huh?

Hey guys,

Having a down day. I think it's coming down off of the progesterone and estrogen. Still waiting for AF to come. Will go in on day 2 just so I can talk to my doctor and see what she thinks the next steps are. We only have one embryo left and can't afford another round. We have no insurance coverage, so it's all out of pocket for us. We paid for this last cycle, our only IVF, via a student loan. Not the most responsible thing to do with a student loan, but I know you guys all understand.

I'm part of a group here in Ontario Canada trying to lobby the government to fund IVF. Quebec just implemented it and apparently it's going well. We met with a PR firm today to discuss how we can better align our efforts. Man did I learn a LOT!!! So if anyone out there lives in Ontario, please join our facebook group called Conceivable Dreams. The more numbers we have the better. Anyway, it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon, but it could happen, just a LOT of work to rally the members of provincial parliament.

I'm looking into other options too like embryo donation. Anyone have any embryos they'd be willing to donate? I think before I start this next FET with our last embryo, I'd like to have our next steps in my back pocket. I don't think I could bear another BFN without a back up plan.

Thanks for letting me rant.

More PMA to come once I'm totally off these meds, and back to my usual self.

Baby Dust to everyone and for those that are PUPO, lots and lots of sticky vibes!

Thanks MooreBaby I learn something new on here everyday...lol I'm going in tomorrow for a "stick n' stir".

Way to Go Indigofire on rallying Ontario, Canada for Insurance Coverage. I don't think there is anything wrong at all for using your student loan money to fund IVF. It has a MUCH lower interest rate than a personal loan would. Anyway, I think it's always smart to have a back-up plan, ours would be borrowing against the house if it comes to that. But we're certainly not going to let go of our dream to be moms...xxx

Ladies, I am quite overwhelmed. I started stims on Sunday and had my first ultrasound today. All I can say is WOW! Ive never responded like this but Im very worried about the quality more than the quanity and OHSS! I had 22 growing my right and 20 on the left. They were all where they were supposed to be at this time as far as measuring goes. My estrogen was 755. They added ganerillex tonight and they want me to go back tomorrow for another u/s and more bw. Any advice for tomorrow? All I can say is that Ive been so tired and achy.

Much baby dust to all those that are pupo!! Doing the AF dance for those that are waiting! and Grow flollies grow to all those that are stimming!! More later! Prayers for all!! Heather

Good evening ladies!!

Way to tired for personals tonight but I wanted to give you all an update on ER today.

They got 27 eggs!! Out of the 27, 20 were mature and they had ICSI done this afternoon. Will get a Fert report tomorrow afternoon and I am hoping not many more drop out of the race

PGD will be done on Sunday and we should know early Tuesday morning if we have a 'golden egg' to transfer!!! This next 5 days is going to dragggggg by! Transfer will be Tuesday if our golden embie is there, and I think I am officially two weeks pregnant today!? How is that for PMA!!!

Love to all of you, will be back tomorrow when I am not so nauseous.
