Ok, so I basically said....HA! sns, too funny! I didn't even know what that one meant and I have been on these boards for 4 years.

Update- went for sns monday, wed, thurs and will go back tomorrow. Yesterday and today I had 9+ on one side, 8+ on the other, all between 10 and 16. RE stopped my menopur last night b/c I was moving to fast. So I am still on 5 lupron and 375 follistim. I am exhausted, tired and have a constant headache. But it's all good, b/c I took a personal day tomorrow. Sns in the am and the on to the spa for my head to toe treatment! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Has anyone here done fertility acupuncture I am just curious about how it went and if you felt any different?

I tried it for 6 months leading up to our last cycle. It helped me relax, but I also got a lot of brusing so I'm not using it this time around. There have been studies that have found it helpful before and after ET.

Indigo- I feel for you sister, I'm in MB and although they implimented a tax credit this fall, you still have to come up with the $ first. Wish you much luck with which ever road you choose.

Jen- Congrats on your ER numbers, hope they all fertilize

Ladies, I am quite overwhelmed. I started stims on Sunday and had my first ultrasound today. All I can say is WOW! Ive never responded like this but Im very worried about the quality more than the quanity and OHSS! I had 22 growing my right and 20 on the left. They were all where they were supposed to be at this time as far as measuring goes. My estrogen was 755. They added ganerillex tonight and they want me to go back tomorrow for another u/s and more bw. Any advice for tomorrow? All I can say is that Ive been so tired and achy.

Wow, thats a lot. I think its good that they are at the stage they are supposed to be at this time. My advice for you try to relax and if you can treat yourself to a massage. I am sure everything will be fine .

They got 27 eggs!! Out of the 27, 20 were mature and they had ICSI done this afternoon. Will get a Fert report tomorrow afternoon and I am hoping not many more drop out of the race

PGD will be done on Sunday and we should know early Tuesday morning if we have a 'golden egg' to transfer!!! This next 5 days is going to dragggggg by! Transfer will be Tuesday if our golden embie is there, and I think I am officially two weeks pregnant today!? How is that for PMA!!!

Those are great numbers. You and dh must be very happy. I said a prayer for you and i really hope you get a FANTASTIC fertility report. Get some rest, pamper yourself, while you wait for your babies to be back inside you .

AFM I have my first scan today, and will be starting Cetrotide today as well. Will keep you guys posted.

AFM~ Having my FET on Monday around 12:00, so excited!!! Headed to the spa today for a massage and mani! After all my RE said it is VERY important to stay totally stress free for the next couple of weeks!

I started my 0.5ml progesterone in oil injection on Wednesday night and am having alot of pain in the injection site. I have a large swollen red spot and I can't stand for anything to touch the area. Never had any problems with all the other meds I've been on. Anyone else having this reaction?

Hi Ladies

Just got back from my first scan and I have about 9 follicles on the left side 2 X 11, 2 X 10 some at 9 and 8 and a few smaller ones. The right side is really wierd, its not responding so well but i have a large one at 16 ( ) a couple at 9 and 8 and a few smaller ones. The best news is my lining is 9, which my re says is really good. . I started Cetrotide today, and i go for another scan on Monday. My RE thinks my ER may be on Wednesday instead of Thursday, but will know for sure on Monday. I am really relieved especially after the whole AF incidence. I am praying that we get enough on ER.

Lou- Thank's for the info on your D&C honey I also had Labaroscopy back in Oct '09 and removed a small polypod that was sitting at the end of my right tube. My OB had to close that one since I am not going to need it...we are doing IVF/ICSI I am going to suggest this EMB and the D&C to my RE appt on Monday. Who knows! maybe this will help me get my BFP. Question! if you can answer...if there's something wrong with my endo wouldn't the doctor be able to see it when I had my Labaroscopy? I am just curious now...

Moorebaby- Bravo on all those follies girl! You are looking good!

Indigofire- That is a very good thing you are doing being part if that group for IVF! Good for you! try and keep up that PMA of yours!

CTMichele- Yay! for the spa day! you deserve it!

Easley4- Excellent news dear! Monday sounds great for FET! I had those progesterone shots in my last cycle and its normal to feel a little pain in the shot area. My RE told me that before each shot, one needs to rub into his fingers the vial prior to the injection and the reason is b/c this is an oily one when its warm it resolves better into the skip. And another thing, you need to massage the area after having the shot so that the med spreads and you dont get to swollen. I hope this helps. It sure worked for me!

AFM- ITS FRIDAY! I love fridays! I did my regular walk and excersise with my swiss ball this morning. Then went to this amazing shop with organic baby clothes and toys to buy something for my DH's Goddaughter. She was supposed to be born on the 13th of April but she was born earlyer, on the 2nd of April (last Saturday) We saw her at the clinic and we are going to visit our friends some time this weekend so I had to go and buy her her first gift from us. Her name is ZOI and she is adorable! She is our friends first baby and they are...of course...very excited and lost!! I bought her this beautifull white dress and combine it with the cutest hat ever!! with lime and fuxia drawings! Fantastic! It was a bit expensive but I fell in love with it! I had to buy it! ...the size I bought is for a 6month and she is going to wear it all summer! btw summer in Cyprus is until begining of October and even further! I thought she is going to get a lot of clothes for her size now and I thought of buying her something for later on. Besides, babies grow up SO fast that she will fit in there in no time! I also bought her this cute baby girl card and wrote some wishes for our friends being parents for the first time and also I did some internet research and found this beutifull poem for baby girls and I wrote it on a maching color hard paper and tied it with a bow outside the package. I love being creative, especially when giving a present I want to add a piece of me to give it more value and make it more personal I can't wait to give it to her!...God I am being silly! I know! but babies and especially our friends babies get me excited and emotionall...for obvious reasons...Can't wait to have our own baby!!! Anyways, I am cooking pasta with shrimps tonight and we are watching a movie with my DH It's going to be a chill out night with my hubby I bought this lavender massage oil that I am planning on surpising my DH tonight with a massage. I also bought this lavender bubble bath that is going to wait my DH as soon as he gets home to relax in candle light in the bathtub while I am finishing dinner hearing some jazzy or classical music (haven't decided yet) I want to give him a special night b/c he deserves it. He/we have been through a very emotionall week/weeks following our 5th BFN and I want to try and relieve him from the guilt weight of not making it to a BFP. I know is not his fault but he feels guilty because we are doing ivf because of his sperm issues...Oh well! I mabbled again!! Sorry!!!

E2 yesterday was 1114 (day 5 stim, 2 day repronex)!!! Said I will go for sns & pre-op on Saturday at 9, however, she said my E2 will be over 2000 which is approaching Hyerstim...wonder why they are keeping me going for two days when I am at 1114???? took the day off today to just rest. Monday will be the first big day. I am ready!

AFM - I had my last session of acupuncture today. He asked if I've had any spotting/bleeding - I said no - should I?! I've been feeling a little washed out and dizzy today, breasts are starting to feel tender and I feel like I'm getting stomach cramps - should I read anything into this or is it just the meds that I'm on I'm hoping it's a sign but he's kind of got me worried now b/c I haven't had any spotting or bleeding! I haven't we any of my cycles and they've all be BFN!

But I'm keeping that PMA up This is mine and DH's time. We've had an awful start to 2011 so we deserve a bit of luck!

Tammy - so sorry to hear your insurance mess - that is so frustrating. Hopefully they will get it figured out and you won't have to pay for #5 and you'll get #6 too! I so wish IVF was covered - we are out of pocket and it just adds so much stress to this process that we need to be relaxed for... Good luck though - keep up your PMA though - your BDing may just work!!

I love to buy baby clothes too - I feel like it is my therapy. My niece is 19 months old so she is the recipient of most of my purchases - lucky girl!! Hope you had a nice romantic dinner and evening!

AFM - sorry to disapppear - I was on vacation with my DH last week. We went to Arizona and spent and awesome day up at the Grand Canyon - so amazing!! Last week before I left I did finally get AF and they were able to squeeze me in for a baseline appointment before I flew out on vacation. Everything looked good so I started clomid on Sunday night. I went in this am for my 1st SnS. There are 5 follies so far - ranging from 10-14 in size. Usually I end up with a lead follie and then a bunch of little ones so I'm glad to see 5 that are all about the same size. My estrogen is also higher than it has been on past cycles so hopefully these are all good signs! I start my follistom and cetrotide tonight and go back in on Monday to check again. Fingers crossed that this will be the miracle cycle for all of us!!! Enjoy your weekend ladies

Stressed out this morning...Doctor told me to drink lots of water before my b/w and so I did and finished off one bottle on the way and started a new bottle while I was sitting in the waiting room talking to another client. Turns out she's having an IUI done sometime Monday or Tuesday too. It was nice talking with her, and I stuck my bottle of water in my bag and thought I had the cap closed... After the u/s I noticed my linen shorts (that were laying under my bag) were soaked...I mean it looked like I peed all over myself. Oh that bottle of water! I left the clinic rather quickly holding my bag in the front just trying! Then I heard my doc asst say wait, hold up you haven't had the b/w done yet, so I had to walk back through holding my bag over my shorts, explaining what had happened...I was way too much in a rush! Thankfully it was only water...lol.

Anyway it wasn't a good sns, I only had 2 strong follicles measuring 15 and 18, and one of my 12s had shrunk to a 10, and still have alot of little follies... I wish she hadn't told me that about the 12 mm one. She said my lining was only around 6 and would like to see it thicker. She asked if I tested this morning and said no since I was messing around with dh (who slept in late with me this morning) that I completely forgot to test. I told her I tested yesterday, but she said I should of tested today! yikes dh was thinking we wouldn't have anything going on until Monday and being that his swimmers aren't very strong thought since our last time we did ANYTHING was Wednesday that "5 DAYS LATER the swimmers wouldn't be as productive" so he released this morning...With the b/w they should be able to determine if I already ov, said she will call me tomorrow to let me know. But for now she wants to see my lining a little stronger, IF we can hold off and maybe trigger on Sunday and then have the IUI on Tuesday, it might be better. I do start my new job on Tuesday but not until 2pm so don't think it would interfere with this. I know usually they do the procedures in the mornings....Dh could tell I wasn't very happy with today's visit overall, but I'm trying to stay optimistic, had him stop by the store on our way home for sweet potatoes! (Vicky I thought you would like that lol)

Anyway I need to catch up on today's events, but will be back for personals in a bit.

I am totally on the "frequent flyer program" for sns's. I went 4 times this week and I have to go back tomorrow too. Today was good. At least 19 eggies in there, all measuring between 11 and 16 today (one at 18). And they know there are more on the left but they are having trouble seeing it. Tomorrow the RE will actually be the one doing the u/s and he says no worries, he WILL find them all. I know it will be uncomfortable, b/c today and yesterday they were putting a lot of pressure trying to see and it was very crampy. RE made an early prediction today of ER for tues or wed, but he said he will know better tomorrow. I already know with my luck, it is 90% going to happen on Wednesday. That is my last choice b/c it means ET will be saturday on my sister's baby shower.

I went to the spa today, and it was wonderful! Of course up to the minute I walked in and as soon as I walked out, crazy life had taken over. I spent all afternoon finding a car for my mil (b/c she totaled hers last weekend) and of course I got all upset before I went to the spa b/c of my upcoming birthday. DH is really bad at present buying and holiday stuff. 5 years ago when he turned 30 I threw him a surprise party. I have hinted many times that I would love the same. He called me this morning to say we needed to talk about my birthday and/or party. He has not done anything for it and doesn't know what to do. It ruined it. I am NOT planning my own surprise party, so I am just going to tell him to forget it. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but with how bad he does with EVERY holiday/birthday, I was hoping this would be the year he made it up to me. No one has ever done something like that for me, and all of our friends had 30th b-day parties, I kinda wanted one too. I've been to 15 of them in the past 5 years...it just would have been nice, that's all.

Sorry once again to vent. I also think my meds are making me an emotional mess. After the phone call I stopped at my mom's office right before the spa and I was a blubbering mess!
