Wow the board got really busy. I'm not even sure where to start with the personals.... :)

Quick update: Im on Day 3 of stims and am getting the headaches and bloating, with some slight pain. Went in for bloodwork today and the nurse just called to let me know the my E2 level was at 81 and to continue taking the same meds. Will go back in on Wednesday for an SnS. Im on Menopur, Follistim, and Lupron. Is 81 good for a Day 3?

Lots of PMA this week!
Me= 32 Endo
DH= 30 Low and Morphology
TTC= 1 years
IVF #1= 1 beautiful blast transferred on 4/26, 1st Beta on 5/6 = 191 (BFP!), 2nd Beta on 5/8 = 492!

Hey ladies! Wow you really can't take more than a day off from the boards or you get behind around here, huh??? :D

I was a complete message board junkie with my last cycle and I needed a few days this weekend to be fertility issue free. In fact I think I am going to try to disconnect a little more often. I have grown to care very deeply for many of you, and I will be praying for all of you but DH and work deserve more of my attention on this last effort...so while I will be watching, praying, reading, and posting, I am not even going to try to keep up with all the personals. So sorry to be selfish, but that is what I need this time since it may very well be our last go at this. Or at least second to last...

Why second to last? I have been struggling with the decision of moving on from IVF after this cycle if it doesn't work but my heart has been leading me in the direction of adoption. I just think that is what is right for us. After coming to that conclusion however I became very conflicted over our plan for this next cycle. My RE feels very strongly that we should thaw our four 3day frosties and transfer those, but that plan leaves behind the one 5 day morula we have. I started thinking about how hard it would be to leave that morula out there, but how silly it would be to transfer just that one slow starter. So I called to discuss the possibility of growing our four young ones to blast and transferring what makes it. He talked to the embryologist and they both feel that since this may be my last hoorah, I should definitely transfer the younger embies since no incubator or culture compares to me. As a result, they have offered to transfer the morula on a natural FET cycle at a later point FOR FREE. I was estatic! I know that the morula on a natural cycle has a very low rate of success...but I love that idea so much more than just discarding it or keeping it out in cryospace. So it looks like I might have two cycles left! Of course it depends on the morula surviving the thaw, but at least then I would know we gave it our all with our embies prior to moving on to plan B. So thrilled that they offered the option!

So enough about me...I am thinking about all of you and I have read every post. Sounds like we have some great PMA going and some very productive ovaries. Best of luck to all of you with ERs and transfers this week. April is off to a real bang. I will pray for each of you every night...promise.

All my best, love, and baby dust,

Bliss

BlissfulCS,
What wonderful news from you RE appointment, I think it's good how he's looking at every way possible to make this work for you guys! A free cycle that is so incredible, and finding a way to use ALL the frosties would be ideal :D !

I have been following so many of you on the previous board and even after only a short time we begin to have that connection. We know it's all about the support of only wanting the very best for each other, but not only that we get it, we know how tough of a journey IVF really is and we provide comfort and with sincere hope and pray to each other. I can understand how anyone would feel about getting hooked on here... :D I know I have especially here lately, but this board has kept me going and like I said before you guys give me hope and encouragement! Sometimes, I feel like my own dh doesn't understand al the emotions I go through, he tries to but then tells me I tend to over-analyze things, which is probably true? :lol:

Here we can come and share our emotions, our thoughts, our concerns and even our questions (especially when I don't have anyone else to turn to, like last weekend.) Sometimes a break is good, AND even so many of the ones that move on to the other board with the exciting news, they still come back to check on us-- because afterall we're family! :D :) 8) :P :mrgreen:

Sorry Ive not posted! Im exhausted and all I do is sleep when I can, I didnt realize keeping a household running and keeping up with my husband in Afghanistan and growing all these follicles was going to be so exhausting. I think its the driving that is killing me. 3 1/2 hours each way for a 30 minute appt. UGH! I took my trigger shot tonight in the leg. OWIE!! ER on Wednesday. I cant wait to see what Ive produced. My Estrogen level today was 3492, so they prescribed some medication and lots of gatoraid and salty foods.

I am praying for you all and sending lots of baby dust your way! I have no dr appt tomorrow thankfully a break from driving so I"ll do personals tomorrow! Good Luck ladies!!

In an IVF cycle ''Cycle day 1'' (CD1) is the day you get your AF. So CD4 is Cycle day 4, the fourth day of your IVF cycle. So i started my acupuncture on the 4th day of my ivf cycle - CD4 :) .

Moorebaby Thank you so much for keepiing the board up to date. My ER is on 13 April :) .

Akdelp Yeah you trigger today. You are just a day behind me.. Its a relief to be over with the injections, but now we move over to the really stressful stuff.. How many eggs on ER? Fertility Report? How many to transfer? And the mother of all... THE 2WW!! But we love it :) . 51 follies!!! WOW! You will get your golden egg. How are your ovaries. I am feeling soooo bloated, and i dont even have half of what you have :lol: .

Easley Congrats on being PUPO :).

BlissfulCS Thats great news. Two more cycles. I am sending you a special prayer that you get your baby.

Sunshine All the best with your IUI and your new job.

Heather We have our ER on the same day.. Good luck tomorrow.

AFM Triggered 1am this morning and i have my ER tomorrow noon... Cant wait to see how that goes.

Hi everyone! :D
Oh Boy! this board is on fire! :D I din't find time to post yesterday...I was about to but then some friends came over to watch "The kings speech" in our home theater and It was really late when they left for my to post in here...So! here we go!...

Moorebaby- Your follies are great! Great news honey! :D You are looking good girl! I am crossing my fingers for you! :D Image

Heather/Nicksgam/Mom4sure- Good luck in ER tomorrow!! I am sure everything is going to be fine and you are going to be pupo soon! I am crossing my fingers for you girls! :D Image

JenMink- Wonderfull fert report my friend! :D I am so happy for you! This is the perfect time for us to be mommies! :wink: All the best for your ET!!!! My prayers are with you! Image

Sunshine- First of all, the way your RE's assistant handdled your situation was SOOO unprofassional of her! When giving all that money you excpect the appropriate attention and definatelly someone to be there for you in times of need! Anyway! thats over now! Keep up your PMA girl and everything will be perfect for your IUI tomorrow! :wink: My prayers are with you! Image

Heidi- I believe that the little things are the ones that count more in a relationship! :D for instants, when we started our first IVF cycle in 2009, I decided to watch FRIENDS all over again (we love them! :D ) and there was this episode where Rachel (Jen Anniston) was wearing this T-shirt that wrote "FRANKY SAYS RELAX" and I comment how much i loved that T-shirt...10 days later I was getting ready for bed and as I enter our bedroom i saw the same T-shirt on my pillow! My DH has ordered it from the internet to surprise me. And b/c the message on that T-shirt was So appropriate for our situation...RELAX! :D That gesture felt like he gave me a billion dollars! or more! or the world! :D So YES, little things do matter! btw, since then I am wearing that T-shirt every time we go for the ER! hopping that will bring us luck! :D Image

CT-Michele- Yay! for spa and last day of stims!!! :D Image

Tiffany- I know its difficult to stay sane during the 2ww! you need to try and keep your self busy. I will pray that your preggo this summer! :wink: Image

akdelp- WOW!!! 51 follies girl! Seriously! :lol: You are definatelly the easter bunny!!! Take extra extra care of your self! you are going to be preggo realy-realy soon!!! :D Image

Blagdymum- That's the reason we are all here in this board! To cheer eachother and offer our support through all the rollercoaster ride! :D I am crossing my fingers for a great fert report and beautiful 5day blasts for you to transfer on Friday! :D Image

Kbillsy- I am sorry about missing your shot dear :( I don't believe that this one time will affect your egg quality! definatelly not! Stop worrying! I wish you an excellent fert report!! Image

Smoon- All the best in this cycle for you!! :D May the expensive clinic in Korea brings you luck! :D Image

Vicky- Try and stay calm and positive dear! Your BFP is on its way! :wink: Image

Faithful/Deftonesmo- YAY for AF! :D You girls are on your way to your BFP's!!! :D Image

Indigofire- I am sorry you have to go through all that dear :( More or less we all been there and still are...About blood clotting, in all my cycles i took either aspirin or injections to thinner my blood and prevent blood clotting. I havent done any blood clotting tests but both my OB and my RE had me on blood clotting meds for precautionall reasons. So if I had an clotting issues I was already protected. I haven't heard about "intralipid infusion" sorry...I wish you all the best in your FET! Think positive and everything will be just fine! :D Image

easley4- Congrats on being PUPO girl!! :D I am so glad everything went well! Cant wait for your BFP!!! :D Image

BlissfulCS- First of all, you are not being selfish at all! I totally understand how you feel and you should do whatever makes you happy! :D As long as you are praying for us all then its ok to not be a regular on this board :wink: I am glad you came up with that decision. sounds good. And bravo to your RE for giving you a FREE cycle! My previous OB gave us the 3rd cycle for free (we only paid for the meds) and it was like Xmas came earlyer! :D I wish you all the best in your FET and may you have your BFP very-very soon! :wink: Image

Dallas- Looks like things are moving along for you :D btw CD4 means: Cycle Day 4... Image

Rio/Margi/Leorira/Lou- How are the mommies doing? :D

AFM- I had my WTF appt yesterday and as i expected my RE had nothing to blame the BFN on to...So, I recommended Endometrial Biopsy but even if he knew about this biopsy (he knows the doctor in Israel which is the pioneer for this biopsy) he told me that there is no proof that it works. He told me that he brought this doctor in his clinic and performed this procedure in 5 of his patiens and it didn't work for all of them (not all had BFP's) So he told me that if I insist on having this biopsy, he has no problem arranging me an appointment with this doctor in Israel and I can fly there for the day have it and come back if I want to. He also told me that by doing this biopsy there is a risk that my endo will get thinner and it will be a shame b/c it looks very good during the whole procedure (endo lining 11).Besides he told me that since I had a labaroscopy and hysterectomy in Oct '09 if there was any problem with my endo or any kind of infection it would have shown. Anyway, we concluded that we do the FET mid May and see how that goes. Among other thin'gs I told him that he needs to start thinking of alternatives for us to do (exams or ever surgeries if i have to) since we had 5 failled IVF's all with BFN's, none with a BFP and we are going for our 6th through FET with everything looking perfect everytime! Its starting to get very frastrating not having success so far. How many IVF's can we continue to have until we stop! If there's something wrong with something inside me he needs to find out YESTERDAY b/c if there is something wrong, even if we do not 6, 26 IVF's is not going to happen! Every time the embies are textbook perfect, my endo is perfect and this last time we transfered 2 perfect blasts (with no fragmentation!) and still we got a BFN. Since everything is perfect until the ET then there's something wrong with having a succesful implantation and he needs to start thinking of ways to find what is wrong. He got the msg and tottaly understands. He is feeling very positive about the FET though and hopefully its going to work this time and we want need to speculate what went wrong again!!! So, he gave me a program...I am having my AF on the 2nd of May and so from the 2nd day (CD2) I start taking this estrogen pill and also puting estrogen patches 1 every other day for 5 days and then 2 every other day. Then I will go for an u/s and b/w on the 11th -12 of May approx and then we are having the FET between the 16th and 20th of May depending on my lining etc. and especially b/c we are trunsfering a day 5 blasts we need to do the transfer on the appropriate day (supposly on the 5th day). I will also keep taking Follicyl pills and at some point he told that I will start taking aspirin. I realy hope this time os going to work girls! Maybe I am a FET person! and this is what I need to get my baby! :D

Baby dust to us all!!

hey ladies, i guess im one of the Aprilsss my beta is in 10 days...
anyways, couldnt read all the posts, but i wanna wish u all good luck and big BFPsss

anton: i saw ur signature, u have unfortunately failed 5 ivf cycles ( hope u will get ur bfp on the 6th) and u only have a male factor, just like me, im in very good health, no problems at all, we only have male factor, and yet i have had 4 ivf failed cycles unexplained !!!!!
did ur RE told u the cause??? have u changed RE or tried all the attempts with the same RE??

to all other ladies, especially ones with BFP: did anyone got a BFP while wearing a lot of body lotion and perfumes on ET day ? coz i did (i didnt know i shouldnt) and now all im thinking about is that i damaged the embryos before even being put in my uterus :(

BEST OF LUCK AND BABY DUST TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF U :)

anton~ I am so sorry you've had to go through this so many times with no real understanding of why it's not ending with a BFP. This journey is hard enough and not knowing must make this all the more frustrating for you and your DH. :? I pray this FET is your BFP!!! And that your RE figures out what is going on. You are always so wonderful with keeping up with all of us ladies and cheering us on with all of you cute blinkies! :lol: Thank you so much for that! Does everyone who gets a BFP after a FET ot ET get cramping? When we got pregnant w/ our twins I had lots of cramping right after our ET and for a few days after. But I've had no cramping at all since having my FET yesterday. I know it's early and I need to have PMA but I'm so worried this is a bad sign... :?

nickgam~Thanks so much for the PMA, I need it!!! :lol:
