I am crying along with you and praying that God may ease you pain soon and bless you with your babies realy realy soon! Unfortunatelly bad news of any kind are part of this IVF rollercoaster! Afternoon ladies, what a morning!

mom4sure- Im sorry to hear about your cycle. It makes me so sad and disappointed for you. However on the good side I have to tell you that taking DHEA has done wonders for me obviously. My last ER before DHEA I had 11 total eggs. I"ll be praying for you and will continue to cheer you on when its your time again!

easley- CONGRATS on your BFP!! Cant wait to see your numbers!

afm- its hard to share good news when there has been sad news this morning
Out of 37 eggs 28 were matured and 20 fertilized and are growing (I think due to taking DHEA for the past 4 months). Honestly after my last year Its hard to believe anything positive is happening. I'll get another report on Saturday morning. Transfer on Monday. Sending lots of baby dust to all of you! Sorry if I missed anyone!

My heart is hurting from all the sad news this morning, mom4sure and ct_michelle we are all thinking about you and wishing there was something we could do to take away the pain. IVF is such an emotional rollercoaster and we know it takes experimenting with the meds to make everything work. Heather I was wondering if you could elaborate on the DHEA because I'm too very interested in finding a way to maybe improve the quality. Is DHEA something in the vitamins you are taking or something the RE prescribed? Thank you! Sunshine1576

Michelle - i am so sorry! this really sucks. urghhh. how unfortunate they werent able to get to your other ovary. i also have male factor and we get less than 50% fertilization rate. so sorry! when can you do it again?

hey everybody!!! sorry i have not been on here but i have had a slight issue. lol
ok number 1..... transfer went great! 2 5day blast one was 100% expanded and one 90% expanded.
ok number 2..... tested positive at 4.5 days past transfer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
beta was 11 days past transfer and was positive with beta at 96.9 and estrogen was 130 and progesterone was 63
next beta is this monday
the deal with me being banned from this website is because i said some very harsh words about a woman on one of the boards that did an interview with a canadian tv station and said things like she really only wanted girls and was saying how she had a boy with downs so she gave him because of it and she found out she was having another boy and she was having a problem finding someone to adopt this one. all because they were boys. anyway i said some ugly stuff and i got banned permanently.
i was shocked when i checked this morning to see if i was banned and it let me create another user name. so im back but dont know how long? lol
hopefully i will get to go back and catch up on all the reading 2night

afm, i am sick with a nasty cold. so just resting at home and typing away. waiting for monday and hopefully near zero beta. been swapping emails with my embryologyst trying to figure out how many to transfer this time

Michele I am so very sorry. I know how painful this is. To invest all that time, effort and money and having nothing to transfer is so heartbreaking. I know its hard but we can and we will move past this. ((HUGS))

Heather I am happy for you . Wow thats a lot of embies. Are you doing a 3dt or 5dt? You must be so happy, this is great news and you deserve it. What dosage of DHEA were you on and when did you stop taking it? My RE put me on 25mg for 3 months.

Thank you all for your kind words. I know its hard when you read a sad post to even begin to think of "what to say" to comfort someone. I want you to know that i really appreciate what each and everyone of you said ((BIG HUG)) .

easley - Congrats on seeing those 2 lines! So pleased for you! I'm too scared to POAS! I am tempted but I can't bear seeing more than one line in the space of a few days! Only 6 days to go before my HPT! eeeek! Are you having any symptoms??

sunshine - Sorry to hear of your UTI Ouch! Cranberry juice is supposed to help with UTI's. I over did it on the sweet potatoe last night - had mash & wedges! Was very tasty! I even got DH to have a few wedges!

Can I ask what DHEA is? It seems the USA & England have similar protocols but sometimes use different drugs.

AFM - nothing new. Still going crazy in this horrible 2ww! I am very tempted to POAS just to put my mind at rest! I'm still getting cramping and I really just feel like AF is about to arrive! If i'm not pregnant I must be very sensitive to these meds! haha

Ok so I had b/w & u/s this morning and I was so scared because the other day, he said I was a slow responder. So I have been in almost panic attack since then. So today he says ok, still slowing responding & you have a cyst but it still looks good so I need to see you on Saturday so we can see if everything is still responding good and then we will be able to tell what's going on, plus one of my follicles looks like it ovulated on its own, so we need to test to see if your progrestrone is in your blood because then we will have to cancel & reschedule you for next month, talk about but AMEN they just called and no progrestrone in your blood so we will see you on Saturday...... and they wondering why my blood pressure was elevated

mom4sure-I take 25mg 3 times a day. If it makes a difference I got mine from GNC. I took them for 4 months and stopped the night before ER. Im doing a 5day on Monday. They will call on Saturday and let me know how things are growing. I think this is worse than 2ww LOL

i have a question for the vets, if you are on the antagonist protocol do you take ganirelix the day of trigger?

nwquiz- I had the same protocol and I didnt take ganerlix the night I triggered.

nwquiz ~ I also had the same protocol and I took ganirelix at 8am and triggered at 10:30pm on the same day. I think it all due to timing.

Michele ~ What horrible news, I am so sorry! I know the chances are slim but I am praying your embies will grow. My doctor told me sometimes with icsi they take a little longer.
