Thank you everyone for the kind words. I don't think I have been able to process this yet as I am still in so much physical pain. The pain is so bad. I don't remember it being this bad the past 2 times.

Mom4sure and heather- are you still in pain? I am talking excrutiating, I can barely move, it hurts to breathe.

Jenmink- Our donor is a young 20 yrs old. She is a first time donor, so we are taking a chance. We figure all donors were a first timer at some point or another!

Michele The first night was so baDd i could barely walk, then yesterday i was still sore but not too bad. Today i feel better I can walk around, i managed to walk to the clinic and back and it wasn't too bad. The pain is still there but not excrutiating. I think if its still really sore, maybe you should let your RE know. I hope you feel better soon.

AFM Decided there's no point in staying in Cape Town, i am trying to change my flight so i leave on Monday or Tuesday so i can at least be home with my family for Easter. Had an appt with my RE for a final consult, and here's the plan.
We wait to see what the blood tests results show regarding my eggs. If its ok she'll email me and give me the green light to start taking DHEA. I will take it for 3 months. Then on the start of my AF in June i start taking the bcp and stop end of July and the rest is history. She hasn't changed my protocol but had increased my dose of Gonal F AND Menopur making this cycle more expensive than the one i just had. So that's my plan . Looking forward to trying again ONE LAST TIME before i throw in the towel. There's a bit of good news..., because they didn't do the ICSI and the transfer, and i never got to use the meds for after ER (Crinone gel & Estra-pause tablets), i got just under a third of my money back, which was some consolation and i am putting that towards my next cycle YEAH .

I called RE yesterday. He told me it would get worse before it gets better. He said it was a very difficult retrieval and I need to stay on top of the pain meds. I have so much I have to do, I just really wish the pain was less. I haven't even showered in 2 days....eeeeeww. I am going to try now.

Hi everyone!

First of all I would like to say that since I am living in the other side of the world with most of you I try to keep up with the dates of your ER's and ET's and FET's as much as possible!! we have a time difference of approx 7-8 hrs ( I am ahead of you) for those who don't know, I am living in an island in the mediteranean called Cyprus which is next to Greece and Israel. So if I don't see dates in your upcoming "events" I might make a mistake. So now the time in my part of the world is 17:30 in the afternoon and is Friday!!!

LYD- I am sorry you are down with a cold I wish you a quick recovery! and I also wish you a zero beta on Monday! ...God! it feels so strange wishing for a zero beta! since everybody in this board we wish for sky high numbers in beta!

Heather- Your fert report is awesome!!! Good job girl! I wish you only good news tomorrow! Your ER on Monday is going to be great! ...I hear you! that waiting for this is worse than the 2ww! I was in the same spot as you are now, at my last cycle. It was the first time we were transfering 5day blasts and me and my DH we where both sitting on pins and needles until day 5 when we got the results. Dont worry honey! everything will be fine! my prayers are with you! ...and hey! thxs for doing the AF dance for me!

Nwquiz- I was on the antagonist protocol during my last cycle and I had my regular shot in the morning and then I trigger at night. I wish you all the best!

Mom4sure- And Again, I am sorry your cycle got cancelled Be strong and have faith and IT will happen! ...telling and untelling people is the worse part! thats why in our last cycle me and DH had decided not to tell anyone about it. And that is what we did. Only us and the women on the Winter Cycle board knew about having our 5th cycle. and when we got our BFN it was such a relief not having to inform everybody that it didn't work..again! When we started our first ivf we told everybody (our close friends and family) but as the BFN's where keep on coming it just didn't feel right. Especially when 7 of our close friends got pregnant had their babies in a period of almost 2 years since we started IVF. You can imagine how difficult that was and still is for us. So it just doesn't fit right informing them when we start again trying. me and DH agreed that the only announcement we are going to make to them is that we are expecting a baby/ies. And that will be after we hear the first h/b Be strong my friend and I wll pray you get your BFP this year!!! ((hugs))

akdelp- How was ER girl! All good!

easley4- Congratulations again dear! Keep those HPT updates coming! and show us a pic too! You are blessed and you deserve it!

Fruit- How is PUPO land girl! Iam like you about POAS. I did it once during my 1st ivf and it felt horrible and so that was it for me. I promise to my self I am not doing it again. I even have that 2nd HPT from that 1st time (there were 2 in a box) I have it upstairs in a drawer in our bedroom bathroom....But I love it when other women POAS! it looks like a fun thing to do is just not for me! Hang in there until you get your BFP with your BETA!

CT-Michelle- Again I am sorry you things havent turn out the way you wanted them Be strong and have faith and you will get your BFP this year!! We are all here to support you and cheer with you on your BFP!

Nancy- I can feel your excitement for getting your FET schedule! Same thing happend to me when I got mine last Monday Looks like we are getting a May BFP! Isn't that great!

Greekchick- How are you filenada? I hope you are feeling better and you getting ready for your next IVF cycle! I am thinking and praying for you. Don't worry kali mou you will get your BFP soon! Be strong and have faith! filakia

AFM- its Fridayyyyyy! Another week has come to and and my BFP is getting closser and closser! Two more weeks and my AF will start so is my FET cycle!! Yay!!! I am so excited! ....I am making a home made veggie pizza tonight with my DH!! Mmm yummyyy! Its our creativity night! Lets hope we get to eat something out of it! May we get only good news from now on!

I'm back from ER. They got 14 eggs! I'm so sore!!! The only thing I can compare this ER to is the ERs I had at my other clinic & the way it was done at my old clinic was so much better. Here they did conscious sedation & it was not comfortable at all; whereas, at my old clinic I was completely knocked out. Oh well! It was somewhat hard for them to get to my left ovary b/c I guess it was behind my uterus, but they were able to get it to it, which is probably why that side hurt the worst. But, it's over & done now. I'm happy w/ the results. DH did his deed & the embryologist told us it looked good for icsi, so I'll take that. The embryolist tomorrow will be calling us w/ the fert report. I'm a little concerned as we've always had less than 50% fert rate, so that would mean we might get 4 embryos. I know it only takes 1, so I guess I'd rather hear that we don't have that many, but they are great quality, than hear we have a lot, but the quality is not so good. Our issue has also been quality, so I'm praying really hard that tomorrow's results will bring us some good news.

Moorebaby- Congratulations for having a successful ER! and may you are feeling better by tomorrow! 14 eggs is a great number honey! ..we also have a sperm issue and in my last ER I had 15 eggs retrieved and 6 of them got fertilized and from them we got 5 blasts. we transfered the 2 grade A blasts and frozen 2 grade B blasts. (the 5th didn't make it) Miracles happen everyday my friend and you will get your miracle any day now!! Take a good rest and I wish you great fert report!!!

hi ladies - my AF has arrived! i was waiting for my beta to come down to zero from my ectopic and was supposed to go in on monday to check but AF is here so i guess it is zero! now i am still going to come in to check of course. so my tentative schedule is (assuming everything looks good on monday) 2 weeks of BCP, 2 weeks of lupron and 2 weeks of estrogen (shots twice a week). so transfer is likely to take place may 30th, 31st or june 1st. none of this has been confirmed yet because my doc is out of the office till monday but i spoke with the coordinator and she gave me some ballparks. i am requesting that my transfer takes place earlier in the week so i can do the proper bedrest plus have a few days to take is easy before the weekend arrives and i have to lift my DS again.

wow - it is starting to feel real again! 6 weeks from now i'll be carrying my embies inside of me again. please please dont let it be an ectopic this time! just stick in the right place please!! i am going to be a lot more careful this time. do the full 2 day bedrest and my DH is so much better with my DS now that he will do most of the lifting at least through implantation.

so funny - its been 2 months after my fresh transfer in february and my ectopic detour is finally winding down.

i also have to most likely go on a week long business trip for work, overseas. the dates are still tbd - i am hoping early may - during my lupron phase. and i have just applied for a different position/department at my company. wow - lots of things are happening. all good stuff! bring it on!!!
