moorebaby - congrats!!!! anton and moorebaby - i hear you guys on low fertilization rates. it's tough - but what can we do - thank god for icsi, right? otherwise we would have no chance whatsoever.

anton - i am very optimistic for you for this fet cycle. i cant believe they have never tried fet on you before. you know some women can only get pregnant with fet. here is hoping that's the answer for you!!!

Ester: 14 is awesome!! Congratulations!! Sorry that you are sore--I never heard of conscious sedation for ER. Hm. Doesn't sound too pleasant, but I guess they must have a good reason for doing it. Really glad that they got to that hiding ovary! Rest up!!! All my prayers for an awesome fert report tomorrow. :D (Are you looking to do 3d or 5d or depends on #s and quality?)

Finally feeling good enugh to get online!

Here's the results:
Retrieved 59 follies...HOLY MONKIES! :!: Record there was 60. :o
They had to drain fluid off my belly while I was under (250 ml).
39 eggs were inseminated. froze 32 and 7 are looking like day 5 transfers! Will only transfer 1 or 2.
They are monitoring me for OHSS. Feeling ok so far, but if anything changes and I have fuild in my belly again, I will not get the fresh transer and they will freeze my 7.

Off to rest. Sorry I am not more social...pain meds make me sleepy... just wanted to give you all an update.
FET #1, #2 - M/C
FET #3 - @ 7 weeks
FET # 4 - Canceled. Hysoroscopy and DnC

Thanks Margi! Yeah, they said they are not equipped to do the twilight sedation (I think that's what it's called when you are not aware of what's going on), which I think is weird...it's Yale University! I was going to UConn & it seems as if the 2 clinics are very similar in terms of being equipped to utilize this type of sedation. Ugh, let's just hope I get my BFP & a beautiful, healthy baby & I won't have to go through another ER...at least not for a while, lol!

***Big phat update***

I am officially PUPO lol :P

ET was 10:30am I am now home relaxing in my bed. I love these lil embees already. I've been praying night & day for a miracle!
Hubby was in the room holding my hand as he watched our lil pods pop on the monitor. I didn't realize that we were gonna have assisted hatching done. So we xfer'd 3 5day blasts with assisted hatching.

The other 3 embees took a turn so needless to say we have none to freeze for lady doctor God has to do his thing and you touch my womb! I am confident that my prayers will be answered !

P. S. Can I lay in my side safely?

moorebaby wrote:I'm back from ER. They got 14 eggs! I'm so sore!!! The only thing I can compare this ER to is the ERs I had at my other clinic & the way it was done at my old clinic was so much better. Here they did conscious sedation & it was not comfortable at all; whereas, at my old clinic I was completely knocked out. Oh well! It was somewhat hard for them to get to my left ovary b/c I guess it was behind my uterus, but they were able to get it to it, which is probably why that side hurt the worst. But, it's over & done now. I'm happy w/ the results. DH did his deed & the embryologist told us it looked good for icsi, so I'll take that. The embryolist tomorrow will be calling us w/ the fert report. I'm a little concerned as we've always had less than 50% fert rate, so that would mean we might get 4 embryos. I know it only takes 1, so I guess I'd rather hear that we don't have that many, but they are great quality, than hear we have a lot, but the quality is not so good. Our issue has also been quality, so I'm praying really hard that tomorrow's results will bring us some good news.

Thanks so much for everyone's support!!! You ladies keep me sane & are my rock! Love you all :-)
Yay Ester! Well done girl. I'm praying for an awesome fert report for you tomorrow. XXOO

Moore - can't wait to hear your awesome fert report tomorrow!!!

CT - I just saw your post :( huge hugs. I have been a low responder so far but this last cycle I did a full fat dairy diet, DHEA, COQ10 (me and DH), went to a new RE that did an antagonist protocol and added Femara. I had a better cycle than I did 3 years ago! Email me if you want or need more info. It will work for you, sorry it might take you another time of trying!
