Jen & Easley im so sorry about ur BFN, my heart is breaking for both of u, don't know what to say... i know there is nothing that can be said now to make u feel better, but we all know that ivf is a numbers game and if it failed this time it will work another time.....

My Update I got the results for my blood tests on Monday and it wasnt the news i was hoping for. The test my RE sent me for where to check my AMH levels. The results showed that my amh levels were .11ng/ml . My RE said for her to advise using DHEA, my amh needed to be at least 1.1ng/ml. She hadn't sent me for this test before because all my other tests were normal, my FSH on Day 2 was 5.5IU/L. Not sure what my E2 was. She said everything else on me was great, my lining was perfect expect for that. So now she says the only way forward is with donor eggs.

She said I could come to the clinic and have one of the other RE's at the clinic look at my file and get a second opinion. I turned down that offer. I know that if I want an independent, unbiased opinion, I have better chances of getting one from a different RE, at a different clinic.

So according to my amh results, i have poor ovarian reserve. I have been reading A LOT about it so i have a full understanding of what I am dealing with. I have booked an appointment with another clinic for end of May to get a second opinion. In the mean time i WILL take the DHEA, and other supplements i have been reading about, do fertility yoga and acupuncture and pray that my numbers improve. Then i will go for blood tests again with the new RE and hear what he says. Hopefully after all this, i will get good news.

Fruit/Easley/Jenmink- I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. I know it’s a difficult time and hard to understand why things happen the way they do but hopefully you girls can find the strength to continue reaching for your dreams of having a little one and jump back in once you are ready. Keep us all posted on when you do so we can keep cheering you on. Wishing you all the best.

Mom4sure- I think going to another clinic for a 2nd opinion sounds like a good idea. Hopefully they will be able to give you the answers you need to get things working the way they should. Good luck with the fertility yoga and acupuncture and keep us posted when you go back.

Sunshine- Keep your head up!! As for apologizing about venting – don’t worry about it. We all have those moments where no matter how hard we try we just cant see the light at the end of the tunnel. Try to stay positive and know that a PMA will help! Even though it feels like the impossible dream it will happen so don’t give up.

Wishingandhoping & LeeS- Good luck today at the ER!!! Hope you both get that golden egg. Keep us posted on how things go. LeeS I don’t see how you are managing with that many follies that big!!

Bliss- Isnt it crazy how at this point youre likely to try anything. From foods to acupuncture to superstitions on the clothes we wear. Anything to put our minds at ease and know we are doing anything physically possible to get the outcome we want. Good luck- hoping AF came to you this morning.

Dallas- Sounds like the donor is progressing nicely. Cant wait to hear more good news on Friday!!

Deftonesmo- Good luck at the US today. Hopefully things look great and you can start stimming right away.

Ester- What beautiful (or handsome) babies you have!! Cant wait to hear how many stuck in- Im thinking more than one!! Get some rest and try to relax the next 2 wks. When is your beta??

AFM- nothing exciting to report here. Even though I know its pathetic I have been POAS a stick every other day just to make sure things are getting darker and faster. I really don’t know how I can wait 2 more weeks for the appointment. This really is worse than the 2ww. At least with that wait I was on vacation and distracted…now Im just slowly crossing the days off my calendar. Love these waiting games.

AFM - we thawed two embryos and one didn't make it. But they were able to thaw another one before ET. So I am PUPO! Beta should be 5/2

Lou- hahaa i wish i was on oprah. anyway will take one step at a time.
Moorebaby- actually an not even sure i will have mature eggs by tomorrow morning. coz before trigger my folicles averaged 14.65,15.95,16.8,16.05,17.15,16.95,14.85mm and many small ones. that is why i was told to trigger early to avoid the others maturing as well. so technically am looking at 1 mature and 4 possible. In one ivf cycle in the past i had immature eggs all wasted. so am so scared more of non fertilizing to having to many actually fertilize.
Well ladies happy easter for those that celebrate or should i just say enjoy the day off/holiday.

Hi, Ladies,

Sorry I have been distant. But I had ER on 04/19 and they retrieved 13 eggs but unforunately only 3 of them were mature. So I'm waiting to find out what time I need to be back at the office tomorrow for ET.

I am so sad about all the BFN's, they make me scared but the BFP's excite me. I am , sorry. But Prayer changes things, so take your grieving time and Pray about it and God will see you thru this emotional time.

AFM: saline u/s went well ... no polyps, etc. So I take BCP for a few more days and then start stimming next Wednesday . . . I have a good eeling about this cycle
