AFM - I went to my unit today to collect more meds. My first scan for baby's heartbeat is on 12th May - my mum's birthday!! I still can't believe it's happened. Me and DH just keep looking at each other smiling! I had 4 of our closest friends round today bringing me cards and flowers. We all had a good cry together haha!

I know it's only early days and it'll all seem real when we have our first scan but we are enjoying every part of it! We have never got this stage before so we are taking each day as it comes (even though it's only been 2 days! haha) and enjoying every minute of it!

I'm still having the same symptoms like I'm due to start AF! I am peeing A LOT tho! I keep expecting to see my period when I've been to the loo! So scary! I feel sick and nausea when I talk about it and when I think of what's happening! haha I got a leaflet from the unit about early pregnancy - my god if you read that you wouldn't move, eat or do anything for 9 months! LOL

Oh and I haven't dared POAS since! I've seen 2 lines and I'm sticking with them!

Jen, Easly and Fruit - I'm so sorry to hear of your BFN results It's so not fair. If only desire to have a child could be a factor in fertility, none of us would have any issues! I've been listening to the fertility meditations cd and the one part that resonates with me and I hope will help you is that it will happen "in it's one way and time". Hang in there and try to keep some PMA for moving forward with next steps!

Ester - those are some beautiful embies - great job!!! Congrats on your transfer - enjoy your time relaxing and waiting for beta. You only have a little over a week until you get your BFP

Vicky - congrats on being preggers!! So happy for you and your DH - enjoy this time That is quite a wait but I like your philosophy of no more POAS!

Addy - sorry that one embryo didn't make it - I'm glad they were able to thaw another one and do your transfer. You're PUPO lady and we have the same beta date!

Blissful - come on AF - why is it that the one time you want her to come, she is late!?!

nwquiz - good luck with your IUI - hopefully there will be a few mature and at least one that fertilizes! I agree - I have no fears of multiples

mrice84 - sorry to hear you only had 4 mature - I hope they all fertilize and that you have a smooth ET tomorrow!

Sunshine - I know it is hard but try to stay positive - you are almost there! Remember - you are PUPO!!

AFM - just chilling and trying to be as relaxed while working as possible. Luckily I work from home so no one knows that I'm really lying on the sofa with my laptop Really enjoying the fertile meditations cd the past few days - definitely think it helps me to be more at peace with myself and the process. I'm looking forward to this weekend and laying low and then eating some yummy Easter dinner with my family!

49 EGGS retrieved!!!! Feeling pretty good just tired. Drinking lots of Gatorade and eating lots of Pringles!!!

LeeS- Congrats on the bushel full of eggs!!! That's awesome!

mrice- I'm so sorry that they weren't all mature eggs. It only takes one though!

AFM- ER went well although there were a lot of retrievals today so it was a bit of a wait. I just woke up from my post-retrieval nap. They got 21 eggs! 13 were mature and there were 4 more that they said could mature enough right after the procedure to fertilize. We're doing ICSI on all and we should have a fert report tomorrow. My RE has always said that we should transfer only 2, but today they mentioned possibly 3. We'll see! We're planning on a 5 day transfer if we get at least 2 that make it to blast. My estradiol was 3100 so they are putting me on Dostinex to hopefully prevent OHSS. Has anyone else taken Dostinex? I don't know anything about this med. I'm also drinking lots of Gatorade and V8. I love potato chips, so I just sent DH to the store to get some Lays and Cheetos! Love the excuse to eat salty foods!

Moorebaby: I'm good! just trying to get thru this 2ww without pulling my hair out!!!! This is the absolute most stressful part of this journey. Its inhumane...REALLY

BFN's: I'm feeling really terrible & pray that you find comfort by clinging to your partners and/or other children that you do have. It's gonna be alright after while....there is always sunshine after the rain! I hope that if a BFN happens to be my fate, that I too can take these words and apply them to my life.I know its easier said than done...chin up!!!

What's going on with me, Glad you asked! :I know I said I wasn't gonna test until Friday but I couldn't wait (i know one more day wouldn't kill me....SAYS WHO??? ) I had some dollar store brands but, I figured since I was testing so early maybe I should I go get a "namebrand" test (I know it was a silly thought) I went to CVS and got a 3 pack of EPT, came home, POAS & waited....waited....waited & then I looked to see a very faint "positive" line.

Truth-Be-Told: I did POAS yesterday too , but it was the dollar store brand and I thought I botched it up so didn't trust the faint positive that I saw, which made me wait one more day to see if I got anything to close to what I saw yesterday (taking a deep breath) with that being said, I still don't feel any better than when I didn't know at all! Honestly, how many ppl on the board has had positive HPT , just to go for their BETA and turn up a BFN I do have faith and I know I believe this is my time & God is gonna bless me, but what if it's just not this cycle? that's my fear and I think the see-saw of emotions combined with the false positives and/or BFN's is starti8ng to torment me & cause a rip in my blanket of Faith....I so don't need that right now! Just Like jenmink...I feel as if I am pregnant, but we also know "Mind over Matter" is also very powerful!

Quest: Can a faint positive symbol really mean pregnancy?

Thanks to you all for the wonderful prayers and kind words. I seem to be dealing with this BFN much better then I expected. DH was in total shock, poor thing But I had a very strong feeling I was going to get a BFN. I'm very sad but feeling at peace with the results. Our RE wants to meet with us on Wed, not sure what we are going to do yet. I pray everyone still waiting on their betas gets their BFP!!

I know the feeling, I so want to test ahead but I am afraid to because I don't want false hope. Not saying that you cannot rely on hpt but sometimes it takes longer to get the result and it's not good to stress one out. lol I so wish next week would hurry up and get here...I will be cheering you on too!

BlissfulCS- I haven´t seen that movie, but I do believe there is a strong environmental influence on IF. If we just look at the amount of chemicals and unnatural things that have gone into our food and the drop in birth rates in developed countries it sends a strong message. It cant all be because of BCP. Things that grow next to the highway never look as healthy as those you find in the bush. We switched to organic meat and grass fed beef, and some organic veggies and fruit. I also grow what I can. Supporting the local farmers market is good for both the economy and you. I also remember some one posted a site a while back where you can check your beauty aids for chemicals that could interfere with estrogen etc... It really make you think.

Mom4Sure- I think your plan sounds solid. After I added supplements, was more diligent in my eating and relaxation we got better embryos- coincidence???? I don´t think so. I hope it works for you.

Addy- Yeh!!! your PUPO- keep that little one warm and snug

Blaqdymum- I have never heard of a false positive, so congrats !!!!!

AFM- started stims today, which means 4 needles a day. Time to shot up again. Have a wonderful Easter everyone-----

Fruit-- Honey, I am so sorry..... No words right now will take that pain away, I know I am going through it! Just know that you are not alone in this process and you have a whole lot of friends here to carry you through the pain.

Sunshine- You are just that, sunshine! You have such a great attitude and I love having you on this board.

I know there are many others who have commented but I don't have the energy right now for personals. I love you all though and I am so happy to have friends like all of you.

AFM-- WTF appointment is scheduled for May 13th. I hope to figure out what the hell happened here. Not really clear why a perfect cycle and two genetically perfect embies didn't produce at least a singleton. Whatever, the past is over and it's time to look to the future. Still on the fence about whether to jump to another Fresh or do an FET. My body seems to like FET's better than fresh so I am hoping RE recommends that. If so I will transfer one gorgeous genetically perfect baby boy in June. So I will be joining a June thread once established hehe.

Geez! Losing a post after working so long and hard on it really sucks! UGH! Why didnt I copy and paste! Ive been wiped out the past few days and just staying low. DH and I have had alot of phone time since he's not here. Im happy to announce he will be home in 2 weeks! YEAHHHH!

AFM- Im amazed at the PMA some women possess! Its really been rough for me without DH here but Ive enjoyed reading all of your daily posts. Ive not decided if Im going to poas or just wait. What day do most see a BFP after a 5dt? PMA PMA PMA PMA... Im not going to let these milestones this week keep me down! Im rubbing my ruby slippers together and asking for the Easter bunny to bring us all BFP's. LOL

Wow, where to start... You ladies are all amazing and inspiring. My heart breaks for those that have yet to have their dreams come true with that sticky BFP they so desperately want, but keep the faith and prayers headed up, and I am sure it will happen when it is meant to. This is my first time posting, however, I have read every page on this thread and feel as though I know you all.

I go in next week for my consultation, start bcp's pretty soon after that, as I feel AF coming on any day now. Then if things go as planned I will begin my first IVF cycle June 23rd, as my dr has his patients cycle together every 2 months. I was hoping to start sooner, but realistically this time line works well. I know the amazing feeling of having perfect pregnancies and also the heartache of not being able to conceive as well as loss. It is well rounded and bittersweet. I am praying that this roller coaster will be over soon and I will have my miracle baby/s to show for all of the patience, perserverance, and stress. I know it is all worth it, and you all are such a great support system for one another. I am new to the lingo, and pretty much the entire process, so I hope you all don't mind being patient with me as I learn. I hope to be able to be here for each of you as I also rely on you all for strength and support. Good luck and baby dust to all of us!
