Lauren: Sorry, my friend. This insurance stuff really stinks. So are they saying you have a LIFETIME MAX? That was my problem. My DH switched insurances, and both carried IVF treatments, but both had $10,000 lifetime benefits + $10,000 medicine lifetime benefits. The new insurance already "knew" we had had a cycle--and we had switched RE's in between as well. We were able to get a total of only 3 cycles of IVF--actually slightly less--we ended up paying for most of the meds on the 3rd cycle and some of the RE bill. We just got "lucky" that our insurance (AETNA) switched to no max the beginning of this year. That is what you need...an insurance with no max. Hoping and praying something works out for you.

Kbillsy: So sorry. Lots of ((((HUGS))))) Ask your RE lots of questions...there certainly are some options if you think it is a lining/implantation issue. And I know that Spring is a busy time for the RE's, but they should be able to get an established patient in to see the RE in less than a month.

deftonesmo: believe me, I'm great at romancing & we do use our imaginations. I was just curious as to when some of you guys were given the green light because I never was, is all. I'm good in that area. If my lil embaby will benefit from our sacrifice then so be it. We didn't travel this long road just to risk it all.

Ok ladies I told y'all I would update you when I got back from my Day 9 ( first US).

Appt went well today. I have 12-20 eggs. They are smaller around 10 each. Dr. doesnt seem to be concerned though. I am on a longer protocal so we are just growing them slower. ONLY TAKES ONE! My lining is awesome 13.5 and seems the E2 level is ok since I got no call today to come in before Thursday. Sooooo Thursday another check. Staying on same med's til then.

For the ones that got BFN_ I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry. I know how that feels. It will work out somehow! Everyone always says they are sorry and sometimes it makes the sting a little better but most of the time it just helped to be able to take a long bath and veg. Find what it is that helps you and do it. The wait for the next cycle, the $ burden, and just plain disappointment is stressful. Just try to rememebr WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU ! We all know about this roller coaster ride called infertility.

Lauren1171 ~ I think if you go with a different insurance company it will be a clean slate. For IVF the doctor needs to get pre-approval before starting a new cycle. Good Luck.

First of all- CONGRATS ADDY!!! Thats a super good healthy Beta. I think this baby is in it to win it.

Kbillsy- You are in our prayers tonight. Stay strong. There is a purpose to all this and its probably leading you to the child you were meant to have, when you are meant to have it. It still really stinks though. I'm sorry for the hurt and disappointment.

Dallas- Yeeeeehaw! Congrats on being PUPO. Have fun in crazy town.

Anton- Doesn't it just feel wonderful to have things started? I love FET...so much quicker and less stressful!

Deftonesmo- Yay for shooting up with the good stuff!

Easley (Kelly)- Your RE sounds wonderful. Mine is doing something similar for our next cycle (which I hope is about two years from now!). It warms your heart and helps you feel as though they are in the field to help and not just make mad cash.

AFM- Have my SnS tomorrow and should have a very good idea of when we are going to trigger and have FET. I am really hoping for Mother's Day which is very likely based on my last FET. I can't believe it is already almost here! I spent the weekend with my 2 1/2 year old niece. Her Mom (my sis) is a single Mom and her Dad is in Iraq so she spends many weekends with us when her Mom is working. We went roller skating, gardened, went boating, and bought a new swing set. The new swing set is one of those nice wooden ones...we spent all day on it yesterday and its still not together! It was one of those weekends where you dread it coming to an end. I really am head over heels for this little girl (hence the expensive swing set for just the weekends). If my heart is so full of love and joy for her... It just might be too much to have my own. My heart might burst right out of my chest!

Margi - How are you doing? I have states GIC and all plans are lifetime max of 5. I think if I switch to Harvard, I may get away with at least a FET which would be great! Going to see RE Wed to talk

Funny (or not so funny story)...I went to visit DH at the fire station with my 7 month old Chihuahua. She did not go out much in the winter since she was so tiny, so is afraid of new people. He was upstairs so I was talking to another fireman. He went to pat her and she got scared. In a split second she stretched out like a cat and was out of her harness and out the door. She ran right into Main Street in traffic!!! I ran right after her in traffic in the middle of the street. She crossed onto a grassy hill and I tried to grab her, slipped and sprained my ankle. When she saw me fall she ran to me and I grabbed her. My ankle is so swollen right now, but I am happy she did not get run over. She is so tiny and so fast! It was really scary! Now it's funny to think what it looked like to people driving and walking by. My 10 year old step daughter said, "That must have been funny...You running!".

Quick update- now 7dp5dt. I had a faint line on HPT x 2 yesterday. This morning it's darker on the same test (cheapie test). FRER is negative. Unfortunately I'm spotting brown, pink, and red. Going in this am to check estrogen and progesterone. I'm so confused. Maybe the positive is trigger still... Just praying now.

Wishingandhoping- hello there I had the same situation like yours when I tried my 2nd Ivf. Mine was 7dp too but with frozen embies. When i tried my hpt it was 2 fainted lines and yes I had some spottings like yours pinkish, brownish spots. So when we called on the nurse she said that its normal and cant yet give an exact explaintion on that until your beta. And so I ended up having Positive beta but with the low ones mine is 26.8 and yet it was a chemical pregnancy coz on my second blood test my hcg went to ZERO. And now on my third one my beta is on 5/9 too but this time I'm using other type of progestrone and so far I'm fine and feeling so positive! So goodluck for the both of us and I am hoping for you to have your much awatied positive beta!!!!!!!


Anyways, what kind of meds are you taking???

Smoon- thanks for your reply. It certainly could be chemical. I'm on progesterone in oil (1cc) at night. I'm anxious to hear from the RE about my estrogen and progesterone levels. I bled last time and they just said not to worry about it, but I got a BFN. This time they were willing to check labs. I really don't have high hopes. My boobs were sore, but now they aren't.
