Dallas- The progestrone usually affects my chest as well. Already yesterday my bra was feeling tight. Unfortunately I'm chesty so going without one when I'm at work isn't an option.

Anton- sorry to hear that Happy is sick, hopefully she'll be able to join you in the house soon.

AFM- Our RE did this morning's transfer, which was great since he's the kindest dr I've met and it could have been anyone of the 3 at the clinic. We transfered 8cellB, 8cellD, 5cellC and 6cellC. Had a wonderful nap this afternoon, dreamt about a whit wolf, and am lazing about in the sunroom. Dallas I've now officially joined you in crazy town.

So not great news...but not awful news either. I had my midwife friend run a beta today (9dp5dt) and it was 10. Not a negative but not a great positive either. Not sure what to do with this info. Although it is good news regardless of what happens as I've never had anything above 0 before. Should I be cautiously optimistic or will this be just a chemical pregnancy?

I tried intralipids this time and it obviously had a positive impact for me regardless of the outcome. Guess I'm in beta limbo!
Next test on Monday.

Hi everybody

I'm new to this board but recognise a few names from the Winter Cycle board.

I kicked off injections for down regulation last Sunday and all going well, should be due for egg collection at the end of May.

It's a bit scary hopping on board the IVF rollercoaster again but I'm ready and soooooo want that BFP.

Both my DH and I found out after we had to terminate our last preganancy @ 19 wks that we were carriers of a rare syndrome called Meckel-Gruber. There's a 1:4 chance of it recurring and unfortunately the testing is very difficult and expensive as the syndrome is connected to at least 7 genes. So we're taking our chances and crossing fingers that, if i fall pregnant, our little one won't be affected by MGS. The docs should be able to pick up MGS by ultrasound early in the second trimester now that they know what they're looking for. We can only implant one embie at a time due to the MGS risk. Bit of a bummer but i can live with that.

So onward and upward towards our healthy little baby

Yay!! So glad there is a May Cycle buddy forum up!! I need all the help I can get! I am currently going through my first IVF, I have my trial transfer next Friday and I'm currently on birth control pills and then I'll be taking Doxycline and Follistim Injectibles.

Honestly, I am so exhausted that I have to do the injectibles again (took them for both IUI's) they just drain the life out of me. I am really nervous but at the same time excited! I am hoping and praying that it works the first time through. Any women out there have any tips or suggestions on how to get myself ready for this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Indigo: Congratulations on a BFP....I know it is low, but I will hope and pray that you get a good doubling. Beta limbo is very difficult. Many women have been through it (myself included). I have seen it end both ways--positively, and negatively. Take care of yourself and I hope that your next level on Monday shows a great rise. And, as you said, it is a great start!! You have achieved a milestone

Anton: Hope that your dear "Happy" gets some of his spunk and joy back soon. I am sure that he will.

Faithful- I am so sorry. Take the time you need to feel what you are feeling and regroup. After my last BFN I didn't think I could go through it again and was only going through the motions since I had frosties and had to do something. Now that I am two sleeps away from transfer I am extremely hopeful and I even think that I could do another fresh cycle. Think about alternatives, but on't make any major decisions until your heart heals a bit. Lifting you up tonight.

AFM- I am so excited about this weekend!!! I live 3 1/2 hours away from my clinic so we will be driving down tomorrow night and staying at a nice hotel (nothing but the best for this adventure). We will go out for Indian food like always which is almost as exciting as the transfer! We live in a resort area and don't have much ethnic food so when we go to the big city we like to get our chicken korma and garlic nan on!

My regular acupuncturist that travelled from home with me last time is out of town in Seattle visiting her family and having her first baby shower. I will be meeting the new acupuncturist for the first time at transfer which is different, but I have really liked her over the phone.

I can't wait to get home on Sunday and change my ticker to a PREGNANCY TICKER!!! My last cycle I was too scared to put myself out there like that in fear that it would hurt too much to change it back if it didn't work. This time I am going all in! I mean...if your going to talk PMA you should walk PMA right??? I am less than two days away from being pregnant for the duration and I am going to start counting it down on Sunday.
