Lynzee,
Wow that is alot of meds, I don't remember having but 4 different meds going on when we did our first IVF, but each clinic is different. I see you have one familar med: Leuprolide acetate, thats "Lupron" the med that stings if it is injected too quickly I was talking about. I also used the estrogen patches but think they didn't work on me very well since I took them off before showering and then had trouble getting them to stick. Have you asked your doctor about the routine of changing the patches out? For the progesterone I used the vaginal sup. and they were a little messy but pantyliners helped. However think the shots could be better-- like you're doing-- since the progesterone supports the lining-- and the pregnancy itself. We do know a thicker lining somewhere in the teens (10 or better) is always good. Thanks for replying back.
AFM: Saw my OBGYN this morning for my yearly exam. We talked about my "progress report" with my RE. He agreed with me that we should try IUI 3Xs with my RE and then go for another IVF. I asked him if he knew of a way I could get medical insurance for fertility treatment. He said no, but told me there are options we might wamt to look into with Springstone Patient Financing.
https://www.springstoneplan.com/fertility. Also he did give more information about the Attain IVF Refund Program. He mentioned certain clinics offer this program and for the clinic in Pensacola, FL could get up to 3 tries for 17,000 and most of our money back if we had no success. He did say we would be responsible for paying the meds out of pocket, but I still thought it was better plan than what we currently have. If anyone is interested in the IVF ATTAIN REFUND PROGRAM the website online is

On the flipside of everything going on....You will not believe this but one of the credit unions I had interviewed with weeks ago, called me back yesterday asking if I am still interested in working with them. The credit and background check are in process as we speak, nothing to worry about that, it will be next week before I get the final offer. Really so much thought has gone into this! Right now I'm in limbo with choosing between having a career or family. As you all know I struggled with my last bank job because it was tough getting off for doc appts being that branch hours are M-F 8-5pm. Dh and I will talk more about it over the weekend. The reality is these last 10 years of my life have flown by so fast because all I've done is work and placed my job as more of a priority higher than anything else including my family and I'm realizing I'm not getting any younger. So it might be better to stay with my flexible part-time job and hold off that. Thanks for listening and letting me ramble you know Wanh, wanh, wanh,wuh-wahn like Charlie Brown in the Peanuts...ok I've lost my mind!
