I have another beta tomorrow. My clinic doesn't do betas on the weekends. Praying for doubling! Still spotting, but we'll see! HPT this morning was still positive, but I know that doesn't mean doubling. Just praying now! We told our mothers today because both know about the IVF. They are so excited but I kept warning them that we really can't get too excited until we see consistent good numbers.

Hello guys! Just want to ahare I got my BFP!!!!!!
And my veta was really high! 1000+
They said its an unsual result for the first so they cant tell high exactly it is. So they just
Said my beta 1000+

My 2nd beta is on Friday May 13th! Hopig for the double beta!
We're still in shock right now!

Jmbella- I have my beta on the 19th as well! We are quite literally in this together from transfer to receiving the official news we are soon to be Mommies.

Ester ~ When I spoke to my DH about donor sperm he said absolutely not. I asked about donor eggs and sperm still a NO. He said he would prefer to adopt. I think it is a common feeling among men.

I looked into lots of ways to improve MF, which I sure you have too. My husband has varicoceles. The urologist recommended varicocelectomy which I was very hopeful (our friend had it done and he and his wife became pregnant before the check up visit). However after my DH's semen analysis we were informed that his semen is too thick (sorry TMI) and even though the surgery would improve his count and quality, his swimmers could never get out of the fluid to fertilize and we would have to turn to IVF. More recently I have read that men are now being treated with hcg for several month and that too can increase sperm count and quality.

AFM - Our second beta doubled. It was 492 so now we're scheduling our 7-week u/s. Excited, but nervous now that we're in the waiting game. I can really do without the bloat, etc from the Prometrium and am debating buying the band versus a bigger pair of pants since everything is getting tight. What did other do for this?

AFM i got blood drawn yesterday morning and you will not believe it when i tell you they are still yet to run the test. i just got off the phone and i hope they will run it today asap.

Ester- It looks like you have a good plan in place for your next cycle, if your DH comes on board. It's tough when you don't see things the same way. If he doesn't change the way he feels, how important is it to you that you carry the child that you raise? Would he go along with adoption? We looked into it and my DH isn't ok with the process as it was discribed in the open adotion information session. By us the mother has 21 days to change her mind, which I think would be heartbreaking, so for us that's not an option. Fostering is still on the table though.

Jmbella and Blissful- Congrats on being PUPO, I also have my beta on May 19th. Will probably POAS this weekend though.

Blissful- Do you live in the UP- we went camping near Pictured Rocks last summer. Originally we were going to go to the BlackHIlls, but our dear friend from Canton convinced us to met him there. Had a good time. Had the best cake ever in Marquette, and DH finally found Belgian waffles that were almost as good as those in Belgum. Defintely worth going back to.

Margi- Are you at the 12 week mark? How are you doing?

AFM- I am bored stiff. Wanted to go in to work today, but it was really important to DH that I stay home in a more controlled environment, he feels special ed is to unpredictable. So we comprimised and I'm going in tomorrow. Were going to Sheridan, IL this summer so I guess I'll do some research on line.

About the bloating, the first time I was pregnant I bought the bellyband in white and black...Target sells them in the materity dept. and it made more financial sense to me, but that's my 2 cents worth! Sunshine1576

Red riding- i feel no different than before. i dont feel pregnant at all no sore boobs etc. infact if its not for the sticks i see daily i would not believe am pregnant and my belly is so swollen and my ovaries hurt. guess coz i had so many follies cooking they are still swollen and uncomfortable. but no regualar pregnancy symptoms.
Okay got the call and the wait is over . my beta did double to 298 and the progesterone to a wooping 132. that is a crazy high progesterone. lol. first ob appt on the 24th.
