Anton ~ What day this month is your FET? Hope Happy's meds are working and she gets to come back in the house soon.

Ester ~ Hope you are doing well!

Blissful ~ I think you are right that it is better not to have the stress of work. Grow embabies grow!!!

DALLAS ~ Hope you are feeling better. Sending you tons of doubling vibes!!!

Blaqdymun ~ I know how your feel about being so tired, I think that the progesterone is the major thing that makes you tired. However it is true around 12-14 weeks you will get some energy back.

mrice94 ~ Take care of yourself (((HUGS)))).

Vicky ~ So happy for you. Congratulations on seeing the heart beat. They say if the heart beat is over 140 then it is a boy, not sure how true it is. I am already wondering if I am having a boy or girl, but to be honest the thought of either completely excites me. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

Wishingandhoping ~ Congratulations on the great beta, WOW more than doubled!

Indigofire ~ So sorry that you are put in this situation, do you have to move to be qualified or can you commute?

Red_Riding_Hood ~ Yeah for doubling beta!!! I already started wearing my maternity pants. You might as well spend the money on maternity clothes that stretch with you than pants you will grow out of.

Deftonesmo ~ Grow follies grow, will you be triggering tomorrow?

AFM ~ Today is the big day we going in to see our baby's heart beat and find out if we are having one our two little miracles.

Nicksgam: Can't wait to hear the news! I go next Tuesday (5/17) we are running side-by-side girl!

Smoon: Congrats!!!!

okay Ladies I have a few questions:

1. My breasts are not nearly as sore as they were in the beginning, is that a bad sign?

2. I am so tired (EXHAUSTED) all the time, if it is the progesterone, how long is it needed on average (I know everyone is diff)
-I read that after 12 weeks the placenta takes over & the shots can cease...I pray to GOD that's true!

So far the changes that I've noticed is the craving for salty things (especially pickles & Italian salad dressing  )
I don't know why but that is what I want at least once a day. Frequent urination, like every 1.5hrs especially at night  There is no nausea (knock on wood). I just can't wait until I can take a peek inside the pod & make sure that everything is ok...whether twins or a singleton I will be at ease when I can hear a heartbeat!

Been a while since I read and checked in here. WOW Lots going on

So sorry for the BFN. They just stink and there's nothing else that can be said! TOTALLY STINK!!!!

Congrats! on the BFP ladies. Those keep us going and give us hope.

I had my suppression check today. I'll get the results this afternoon. If I am suppressed, I start Estrace (I think that's it) tomorrow via IM shots. I'll decrease my Lupron but still doing it. My u/s looked good (no cysts etc....)

The one negative of my appointment was that my blood pressure was rather high. They took it again before I left and it was down from original reading but still on the high side (140/90) They want me to go see my regular doctor for that. I called but their office is closed today so I'll call them tomorrow morning. ugh The nurse was real sweet and positive though. She said "if they deem you need medz for your BP make sure and tell them you hope to be pregnant VERY soon so they'll give you a med that's okay during pregnancy"

Oh, the other ugh thing -- for my first IVF they put a stitch in to help with the transfer (my uterus is tilted) It turned out they didn't need to use the stitch when they got to transfer. I asked her about that and she said she would talk to my doctor and ask him what he wanted to do. She said she truly had no idea if he would want to put one in or not but she would check with him and let me know. So the last time the stitch was put in while I was under (no big deal) If he wants one this time, I'll have to go in around 4 days prior to transfer and have the stitch put in while I'm awake. ugh ugh ugh

I'm really needing to work on my PMA right now. Want this to work so badly and trying to be positive but then at the same time find myself guarded in becoming so positive as I don't want to be disappointed. I know y'all totally understand.

We saw one gestational sack and one yoke, but no heartbeat. Trying to stay positive; doctor said that maybe implantation was later or the baby may not be healthy and nature will that its course. We go back next Wednesday for another u/s.

nancy- Just wanted to let you know with the stitch I think some doctors do it with every transfer, while others dont do it at all. I had my first stitch put in while I was under for the retrieval so I wasnt even aware of it, then with both FETs they did the stitch a few days before the transfer. Im not going to lie- it was one of the most uncomfortable parts. They do use lidocaine jelly to help with numbing the cervix but I still cringed both times in pain. I just kept telling myself that if it helped them do their job it was worth it (even though I know he didnt even use the stitch once). Good luck.

Nicksgam: Hang in there....it could still very well be early. It is good that you saw a sac and yolk. There are certainly no guarantees in this crazy IVF world...but you have lots of reasons to still be hopeful. DH and I were 6w5d when we heard the HBs. We had considered going on on the Friday before...6w2d, but the OB suggested we wait because it could still be early to hear HBs. My understanding is 6 1/2 - 7 weeks is when the HB is USUALLY first heard. Even then, sometimes if a late implanter, it could be even later than that. I hope and pray that you get good news next Wednesday.

As others have said, it's still early and definitely too early to get down about anything. Keep your head high and your PMA even higher!!! :-)

Thanks. I appreciate your insight on this.

I got the call and I AM suppressed; however, I haven't had a period since stopping the BCP (last period was 4/14) and they want me to shed my current lining before beginning the estrace. She said if I haven't started my period by 4pm tomorrow to call as they will adjust my plan.

Nancy~ I have a question. I don't understand the stitch thingy. I have an inveryed uterus also and I have never heard of a stitch being put in. Maybe I should ask my dr. Does it being inverted make a difference. I rememebr my dr telling me when I started my IVF journey that 33% have inverted uterus. Now I am wondering if I need a stitch. Maybe he hasnt said anything becuase I have had two kids but those were 15 and 16 years ago.

Kelley

Going back tomorrow for another check.. sick of all the needle pokes been on stims for 15 days!

Kelley,
I don't really understand it either. LOL I just know when I had my trial transfer she made a comment about my uterus and said they would place a stitch during ER. No big deal for me as I was out of it anyway. LOL However, now that they are talking about with this FET, I'm a little more "freaked" LOL LOL Somehow it can help w/ transfer depending on the position of the uterus. They ended up not needing to use the stitch for me because when my bladder was full it positioned everything in a good way?.?.?. They remove the stitch after transfer is done. That's the best I can do w/ my limited knowledge. I'm sure someone else will be better equipped with an answer than I. :-)
