I started the stimulation today. It was shocking to see the tubes lining in front of my eyes: 5 powder tubes in total, plus 5 solution tubes. The injection did not go very smooth. I was very upset and an idea came into my mind: what did I do wrong to deserve this… sigh…..

Kerri,
You didn't do anything to deserve this. It's a fallen world we live in and that's it. It's not anything you did. It stinks! IVF is a hard road. Any woman here can attest to that.

Hang in there and look at what you do have (like you do have this cycle you are doing etc...) I'm speaking to myself on this as well. :-) I often get so focused on what I don't have that I lose sight of what I do have.

I'm sorry your injection didn't go well. What happened? Here's hoping the rest go very smoothly.

Hey ladies!!!

Remember all that nonsense I have been talking about being too busy to be too crazy in the 2ww and all the PMA I have been throwing around??? Well crazy time has finally come!

I am obsessing!!! :-) I broke down and took a warm (certainly not hot) bath for 10 minutes in my beautiful upgraded hotel room last night after doing a lot of research and finding warm baths are okay during pregnancy. I didn't think about researching for whether or not they were okay during IVF until tonight and it seems almost all clinics advise against baths during the 2ww. So now I am freaking out. :-) I posted a question to Ghost, but if any of you current Mom's are bath lovers I'd love some encouragement. Suffice it to say I am done with baths. Also, I am still stressing about my stressing. Another intense day at work today. Deep breathing and meditating when I can, but it doesn't change the fact that I go full tilt, no-stop, all day from about 7AM to 7PM without mental and emotional down time. DH says women get pregnant all the time who take baths and have incredibly stressful lives and I should chill. I know he is right...but I still need to vent to my sisters in insanity. :-)

Dallas- CONGRATS ON THE DOUBLING BETA!!! Hope you are feeling better.

Congrats Dallas!!! Awesome number!

I have had a roller coaster of a day. Beta this morning was 1759, so we were really excited. Progesterone was only 8.5 and estrogen was 137. Around 4:00 I realized that I was hemorrhaging with bright red blood and golfball sized clots...soaking through a pad every 15 minutes. I called the clinic and no one called back. I finally paged the RE at 5:15 and he had me meet him at the clinic. With traffic it took about an hour to get there. He took a look, and it appears to be my cervix from the suppositories. Now I have to put them in rectally  The good news was that we got to see that I have a gestational sac with a yolk sac in my uterus :) So it looks like 1 healthy bean right now. We're just praying that the bleeding stops and that it really is all from the cervix. I have to go in Saturday for another beta.

Blissful- I wouldn't worry too much about the bath. My clinic says no baths, but I really agree with your husband. Plenty of pregnant women take baths with no problem. As long as it wasn't a hot bath I'm sure you're fine. As far as stress goes, I'm like you...7:00- 7:00 on my feet non- stop all day and stressing about work every night. My RE said that he's seen women come in for ET under extremely stressful circumstances, and they get pregnant with no problem. I try not to stress, but it's just part of my life.

WOW on all of the doubling numbers and great betas! I have only posted once, but stalk the board and keep up with the progress you are all making. I could not be happier!

I wanted to share an update with me. DH and I thought that we were going to have to wait until the end of June to begin IVF, but I go in next Wed for my first U/S and exam. From there I will take home my meds and begin shortly after that. From what I know so far, ET will be at the end of June. I am so nervous because this is our first time, but so excited as well! I have no idea what to expect so listening to you all is very helpful. Our insurance does not cover any of the treatment, so it is all out of pocket. Thankfully there is a program that we qualified for that gives us free meds for one cycle. It will save us about $1700, so lets hope this is the only cycle! If we end up with a BFN, they will do an FET if there are any to freeze, at a decent price. SO.... Is there anything that a newbie should know going into this or anything I should be doing to prepair?

Hi everyone! :D

Nancy- My FET is scheduled for next Wednesday 18th! :D When is yours? Image

Kerri- I am sorry the injection did not went well and never say again that you did something wrong! You did nothing wrong! there are thousands like us honey, struggling with ivf. and none of us did anything wrong! this is life and life sometimes is unfair :( Hang in there! This cycle will make you a mommy! :D Image

Jmbella- Sorry for my ignorance but what does poges mean? I have no idea so I can't help you dear :( Hang in there! your beta is a day after my FET! how nice :D I'll be pupo and you be prego! Image

Blissfull- Don't worry honey! my clinic says no to baths or saunas etc. but if yours wasn't a hot bath then I am sure you are fine! :D Image

Wishingandhoping- Excellent beta #'s dear! Can't wait to see how many embabies you got there! :D Image

Smoon- OMG!!! Those are huge #'s!!! Well done! :D Btw how many did you transfered? I bet they all stick into mommy! :D Image

kbanks- Yay for starting sooner than you expected! :D I wish you luck and tons of baby dust for your cycle! :D Image

AFM- I went to my u/s & b/w appt this morning and everything is looking great! :D My endo lining is 11mm (on tuesday it was 8mm) so my RE was very pleased with that. I got a phone call for my progesteron results and it was 0.1ng. Just how it supposed to be the nurse told me :D I am starting progesterone pessaries as of today and taking 3 per day. FET will be on Wednesday. I will call the embryologist at 10:00am and if (crossing my fingers) our 2 blasts (5day) are ok then I will go for the transfer at 1:00. So my DH is not going to make it to be there. But, a friend of mine send my a msg today saying that based on her excperience, DH not being there firstly is not the end of the world :D and i could still get my BFP! so I'll drink to that! Please pray for me and keep your fingers crossed that our 2 blasts make it to thaw!!! and I get my BFP this time! I am a bit nervous about that :? ...This will be the best birthday present for me ever! my birthday is June 11th and nothing can make me happier while turning 37 than becoming a mom! Image

Baby dust to us all! Image

...and have a lovelly & delicious weekend everyone!!! Image

CRASHING AGAIN (hope no one minds)

Blaqdymun: Hang in there with the symptoms...this 2ww is as bad, if not worse than the first!

Nwquiz: I just LOVE seeing your name down with the preggos....don't you? It is where you belong!!! Can't wait for your u/s girl. Hang in there. Don't worry about no symptoms...believe me--they will come. And if you get the morning sickness badly, you will wonder why you ever worried about not having a symptom. LOL. I can't wait until I am no longer a nauseous mess in the mornings.

Looks like the 19th is a big BETA day for you ladies!! :D 3 betas on one day...3 BFP's I predict!!! Any POAS junkies?

Heidi: Hang in there....crazytown it is. Try to distract yourself from the worry and wondering.

Blissful: My friend. I do believe you win the election for Mayor of Crazytown this 2ww. LOL. No worries...I have definitely been there myself!! Some people might think that working so hard might keep you distracted, but we know better. I have a very busy and stressful job myself and every one of my 2ww was total H@#! You can do it. No worries. Those embies are tough and stuck for the long haul...I can't wait to celebrate with you next week.

Anton: Sweet Anton. Next week is your week too!! Your embies come home to momma where they belong!! I am so happy for you. And, yes I understand your disappointment about DH not being there for transfer. I, too, was very sad my DH couldn't be there this last time around for me. I brought something of his with me (corny I know) and texted him as soon as the doctor was finished to let him know all was ok. And look how well it turned out for us and our Cali babies!?
Take it easy and have a wonderful weekend!!

Anton ~ Wednesday will be here before you know it. Sorry DH won't be able to be there, but you will have your best friend with you, the next best thing. Your lining is great, this will be you BFP.

Kbanks ~ Happy your cycle is sooner that later. My only advice is try to stay sane and positive during all the waiting. Good luck.

smoon0021 ~ Wow amazing 2nd beta. Congratulations Mommy!!!!

Wishingandhoping ~ Yay for gestational sac with a yolk. Hope the bleeding has stopped now.

Blissful ~ The worrying never ends. Stop beating yourself up, even though I was told no baths my clinic encouraged swimming so water is fine. Enjoy having your beautiful embabies in their Mamma.

Jmbella ~ sorry I can't help don't know what poges are?

Kerri ~ Yay for starting stimming, you are on your way to a BFP!!!
