Bliss: Hope that you and DH get to celebrate and enjoy this 3 day weekend--whew--you deserve it! I definitely think you won the 2011 "Craziest, busiest, 2ww" award! When do you go for u/s?

Greekchick: You are correct. There is a lot of variation regarding what is recommended. What did your RE tell you to do? Strict bedrest means not getting up except to go to bathroom. Modified bed rest mean you can go to couch, walk around the house, but not housework, no lifting, etc. I would follow your REs orders. This last cycle I did bed rest for 48 hrs, but as lots of other women can attest, they just "took it easy" and still got BFP. Do what RE says and what feels right to you. Just try not to overdo anything!! Can't wait for your BFP....and funny that mom is a POAS-pusher!

My vote is for getting up! I got a BFP and had only 1 day of rest (not bedrest!). What is good for the spirit is good for the baby.

I didn't do any strict bedrest and I got a positive. My doctor denied Disneyland and running but said everything else was OK.

Ladies in the TWW I wish you well and that you get your BFP

AFM- Ladies thanks for your kind words. DH and I took time off work to grieve and heal. We've had a lot of losses these past 12 months. I'm scheduled to go back on Tues. We meet with the RE on Monday, for closure and hopefully get some answers. This was our last cycle, because of our clinics policys. I'm not sure if I could go thru IVF again anyways, this cycle really drained me. Right now I'm working on getting my body and soul back in balance. I think I'll watch Wayne Dyer on the Tao te Ching for inspiration.

Heidi: Lots and lots of (((HUGS))) as you get yourself in balance. Hope that Monday brings you some answers/closure. Maca? I took 525mg capsules, 3 times a day. And yes, this bed rest stinks. It has been 7 weeks so far, and I am looking at a minimum of 4 more. I really hope this SCH resolves and I can get on with enjoying this pregnancy. Take care of yourself!!!!! PS I love Wayne Dyer.

deftonesmo: Woohoo!! Yes indeed looking good! Tomorrow you'll be 10dp3dt (13dpo). That was when I first went and got my beta of 240! If your RE isn't picky...I would go to get a good sneak peak!! But even if you don't--looks like a BFP to me!!! Congratulations!

Dallas: Hang in there! This entire process is fraught with one worry to the next. Your numbers are good and strong. I am sure all will be well, but realize that you are going very early. Might not see very much except a sac/yolk (or two?!). You are 6w1d tomorrow, right? Anyway...best of luck!!!

Can I add my good news in the April/May thread?

ET yesterday. Did GSN testing on 9 fertlized DE. Result was One hatching blast (boy) and One blast (girl) that are now home with me and looking for a soft place to land. First Beta is June 3. Praying hard for BFP. Stick babies. Stick.

hi ladies how r u all 2day?i called my doctor this morning asked him what he thought bout me getting up out of bed he asked me to stay put 1 more day so im still here in bed altho i do get up 2 make a coffee etc...hope its ok lol.....been gettin funny feeling like period feelings whey too early for that but thought id up date u!for all you ladies what are poas addicts when do you start doing that my et was monday??xx

Margi- Thank you so much for your wishes dear I really hope this time I get my BFP! ...Boy! that's a lot of bedrest you are doing there! ...the good news of course is that its all worth it!! I hope you get the green light soon to get out of bed and enjoy your pregnancy! Hang in there and take good care of your little "lemons" !!

Deftonesmo-Congratulations my friend!!! I couldn't be happier for you!!!! Fabulous news!!! I knew it this time was yours! ...Did you have any symptoms when you took the hpt? and do you have any symptoms today? B/c I am on 8dp5dt and I have none/nil/zero and it makes me wonder...I am SO happy for you!!! seriously when i read that you u saw a line on that hpt I was so thrilled that it was like that line on that hpt was mine!! crazy I know! I am not a POAS material! I am too scared to POAS! Go get that beta and tell us the #'s girl!! I can't wait to join you soon!

Greekchick- Thank you so much for your wishes kali mou! I hope you are off the bed by now! My RE after the FET told me to stay put on the couch rest for 3 days not strict bed rest! no to use the stairs (my house is 3 floors and my bedroom is on the 2nd floor, I got down when i woke up and got up again at night to go back to bed) also, no lifting any weight, no bending over and when i get up to walk, to walk slowly and not to rush. And these are my 3 days doctors recomendations After that, just take it easy with everything and you will be just fine! how's it going so far? going crazy in the 2ww!

Bliss- Celebrate the good news with your hubby during this long weekend! You've worked so hard and you deserve this! both of you!

Tamera- Welcome to our board! I leave in Cyprus and I would be more than happy to recomend you 2 of the best clinics in the island. I have tried both with no success so far but nevertheless both are superb!. Both doctors are amazing and so as their staff! I highly recomend both! The first one is called "ISIS" and it was my first choice having there with Dr. Andreas Mavrides 4 IVF cycles. He is absolutelly brilliant and his clinic is " state of the art" from the parking to the Lobby to the Lab! Even though the clinic is considered new, the doctor and the staff are very experienced professionals. Dr. Mavrides and his staff are trained in the best Hospitals in the UK and they are all trained NOT to see you as a number and treat you as a human. You allways talk directly to the doctor and if he cant talk when you want him he will call you back asap. Appt's at the clinic are very strict and the longest you can wait for your appt is from 5-10mins max! personally I never waited longer than 5min. Dr. Mavrides is easy to talk to and will answer to all your questions and guide you accordingly without never promissing something he can't deliver. he is overall a great practitioner and I highlly recomend him! He is an OB/Gyn and a fertility specialist. ...He still is my OB/Gyn...You can find details of the clinic and the Doctor if you go at http://www.isisclinic.com/team_mavrides.htm. His personal e-mail is mavrides@isisclinic.com and the phone number at the clinic is 00357 22 255 000. You can contact him and he will answer all your questions. The second clinic is called "Pedieos" and is the one I am currently using. I have done 4 IVF's with clinic # 1 and this is my 2nd IVF with FET with this one (total of 6 ivf's)....hopefully this time I'll get my BFP! I so paitiently waited for 2 years now! ...So, this clinic is a whole floor in an old building (DAY CARE CLINIC) nothing like the other one but Dr. Trokoudes here and his staff are amazing! you might wait even for an hr for your appt but be sure that yo will get all the attention you deserve. the info for the clinic is http://www.pedieosivf.com.cy and Dr. Trokoudes e-mail is trokoude@spidernet.com.cy he is an RE and fertility specialist. he even got a place in the Guiness world book of records for getting pregnant a 60yr woman with ivf. interesting stuff huh! Where are you from? is this your first IVF attempt? ...I heard that a lot of couples come in Cyprus for DE and DS..Both clinics offer treatment to a lot of foreign couples especially from the UK. I wish you all the best in your journey and hope I gave you enough informations to start with...I may not know you but I know we have one thing in common and that is we both want to become mothers! Sorry if I left anyone behind but you are all in my prayers!

AFM- I have absolutely nothing new to report concerning my 2ww. can you believe that! No symptoms of any kind what so ever! I am too busy with stuff and try not to think about my beta on Saturday. I guess I am scared for the result...My Dh left early this morning to London UK and he is flying back late Tuesday. We talked a lot last night about this FET and he is still very positive about this little one and he still believes we are getting our BFP this time. I don't know what happended to me this time but even thought I am positive about it I am not over the moon positive and I feel a bit drawned back. He didn't even want to discuss a plan B just in case we get a negative...he is so sure that we will get this time! I don't know, I really really want this time to get that call with the "you are pregnant" news it's just suddently seem so far away now. This is the 6th IVF and first FET and it would be like a dream to get good news for a change! I guess I am used to get all negatives so far not even a chemical and maybe I don't believe 100% that I will get IT this time. I wish I could get a sign at least! a sore boobs or something... Maybe this is the problem. Other times my body was under the a lot of meds and now its just estrogen patches, progesterone pessaries and estrogen pills...I am not bloated or anything. I am just relaxed!...Normally, I will get my period on the 1st June that is in 6 days and normally I am on target with my period and normally I get spotting 4-6 days prior to my period. (please forgive my TMI ) and so far nothing! maybe I'll take this as a good sign...The first 4 Ivf cycles i did with my OB he had me on BCP and i allways got my period a 3-4 days after my negative beta. This past cycle with the new RE I wasn't on BCP and the cycle was based on my natural cycle and I got spotting during the 2ww (actually 6dpo spotting began) now this time with FET, no spotting and no AF sign. I am sorry for the vending! I will wait for my beta on Saturday and pray for the best! What's done its done I 'll let the beta do the talking on Saturday and it better talk the BFP language!!
