Thanks so much Anton for the great information and links. There are so many clinics to pick from it can be a bit overwhelming. This will be my first try and IVF and I just want to make sure that I make the best decision when it comes to choosing a clinic. I am 41, plan to try this in the fall (I will be turning 42), so I know my age is not working for me, but I also know it is possible. I have read enough on this forum and see many successes for women my age. I plan to travel for the entire 21 days so they can stim me, I have PCOS and am at risk of overstimulating, so I hoping by being there they can monitor me more closely.

Are there clinics you have heard of to "stay away" from? I just recently went for my early testing (FSH, AMH, LH), numbers were not bad, but I'm still learning to interpret them. I'm learning as I go. Thanks again for all the information and I plan to hang around here as I can tell this place is a great place for support.

Dear Greekchick~

I think you're fine getting up a little. My doctor said the walking is actually better because it increases blood flow. However, I don't want to steer you away from the advice from your primary physician.

I was super crampy about 3d post transfer. I thought for sure it was AF. Some of the posts that I read said it was a good sign because it was implantation. Turns out they were right.

Also, my fertility clinic works with people from all over the world and they fly the next day.

So hoping for a positive result for you. I tried for two years with negative, negative, etc. Even a chemical would have been nice. When I saw the positive test, I almost passed out. Hope the same for you.

Anton - sending you tons of baby dust, I did not feel anything during my 2ww and thought for sure it didn't work. So maybe nothing is a great sign!!! I am praying that you will get the good news and this board will explode with happiness for you!

I start PIO tonight. I'm hoping that I'll be on it for a long time to come (because that would mean a BFP) Of course, I'm not looking forward to all those shots but it's worth it for a BFP.

U/S today showed....... 2 sacs, 2 beautiful heartbeats! I am 6w2d, one baby was 6w1d the other 6w2d!!! EDD 1/18/12! We are so excited, but I dont think it has fully sunk in with me yet. Our families are ecstatic. I just cried like a baby when the hb's showed up and cried all of the way out of the clinic, I know the people I met on the elevator thought I was crazy!

greekchick: I flew right after my 48 hrs of bedrest as I was in Cali. My RE said it was completely fine. No worries there! Hang in there....the 2ww is definitely called Crazytown for a reason.

Thanks Margi and Deftonesmo for the information, I live in Northern CA. I have been going to Stanford and they have been very good to me. As DH says they are batting 500, which then he said that means 1 out of 2.
