Greek Chick: The pio shots affect evryone differently. Some women have tons of symptoms; others have non at all. Just like pregnancy, I suppose =) If youa re feeling any symptoms, it's probably from ther progesterone anyway, so you can't really go by pregnancy symptoms. Did you have a 3 day transfer? If so, you could probably start testing around 8 or 9 dp3dt . . .even that might be a tad early . . . if you do test, just remember: there are lots of ladies who get negative hpt's only to get a positive beta . . .

Heidi: Hope you get some answers and information today . . . can't wait to hear what your next steps will be . . .

Bliss: my tubes are toast too . . . I usually say the same thing :D can't wait to ehar about your u/s . . . are you pulling for one or two heartbeats? =)

jayne & Tess: good luck!

nancy: I think I am doing 1 cc, but everyone is different . . .

Kerri: hang in there!

Sorry if I forgot anyone . . . hope you are enjoying your long weekend!

AFM: Second beta is tomorrow . . . just hoping it had gone up a lot! =)

Bliss- I had hoped & prayed for a little nausea myself, and I have been miserably sick since Friday. For the days prior I had intermittent nausea. This weekend I have felt horrible!!!!! The nausea is constant and throwing up was mostly on Friday, but I have barely ate/drank anything this weekend. I thought that I would be tough enough to stick it out, but its wearing on me.

Good evening ladies,

...well, “Show must go on!” ...no matter how much it hurts and it does hurt really bad, not getting that BFP, DH and I are praying to get, I have faith in God and science that we will have our miracle baby soon! Having said that it doesn’t magically takes the pain and disappointment away but it makes us more eager, stronger and determined to want to hold our baby in our arms more than anything. I really wish that it was easier for us and everyone out there that fights infertility but God challenge us with BFN’s so that it gives us our miracle when He thinks we are ready to receive His miracle. Then we will be mature enough to appreciate this miracle gift from Him. I believe that our baby is SO special that in order to have it we need to get through a lot of pain and it’s worth every minute of that pain! ...trust me, I am not the kind of person that goes to church every Sunday and prays all the time and only speaks of God all the time but I do pray at home and any where I feel the need to praise Him and when I am in need, especially when I am in need. I have questioned Him many times, I admit that, but I’ve come to a point where I figured that I need to believe in Him in order to survive life’s bums. I believe that losing my faith is like giving up and I don’t want to give up. I want to still hoping and believing that there is a God and He will bless us with a child. ...Like I told my DH, we need to have faith and be strong and patient to overcome this IVF journey God put upon us. And He will reward us/ bless us with a baby some day. I hope this day is not very far...So, my RE called late Friday and told me that since I had 6 unsuccessful IVF’s and have tried all protocols and had a laparoscopy and hysterectomy the only thing that’s left to assume for this “Recurrent Pregnancy Loss pre(before) Implantation” is the final product as he called it, the embryo. To be more specific, there are 2 causes for this “Recurrent Pregnancy Loss pre(before) Implantation”. (a) There’s something wrong with the embryo itself and it can’t implant and (b) there’s something in the uterine environment that doesn’t allow a normal embryo to implant. Well since I’ve done the laparoscopy and hysterectomy and everything is perfect he said he doesn’t want to “do” anything else to my body. I have also took immunoglobulin (human blood) intra venous for antibodies and also did shots (embolio for genes thing) so my RE believes that we should check the embryos next time. Make a kind of PGD (Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis) he told me that since in lour last fresh cycle we’ve made such perfect 5day blasts and on this month’s FET we’ve transferred an expanded blast and still no success then the embryo’s chromosomes needs to be analysed. Well, hopefully this will shade some light to our infertility! I am going to make an appt after my birthday and go discuss with him the next step for our fresh cycle. I look forward to start the new cycle and most of all I look forward to get that BFP next time! Fingers crossed!...my DH is coming tomorrow late at night and I can’t wait to be in his arms!!! Cry and get this over with and move on! I've done some meditation and sunbathing by the pool with "Happy" jumping around ecstatic, read my book and just relax and try make happy thoughts for the future. I believe that helped me. the weather changed today and even though its hot it was a very cloudy day. it even rained this afternoon...On the 23rd June we are going to London for 10 days for our Goddaughter's Christening and I am looking forward to that! we will do our favourite London rounds and go to our favourite places and theaters. This is exactly what me and DH need right now. an escape, a break from the IVF world!... Well, miracles do happen every day ladies and one day soon I am going to get mine!!! :D

Going to bed now, goodnight to you all...sorry for no personals...I'll try and catch up with everyone soon...Also thank you all for thinking of me and for your words of comford and care! You are all in thoughts and prayers! Love you guys! :D

Baby dust to us all!

Anton~ You truly amaze me. You inspire me to be more positive.

Dallas~ Maybe Zofran. A lot of my friends have taken it during pregnancy and it seems to helps a lot. I'm sorry.

Greekchick~ my first postive hpt was 8dp5dt. I took one at 6dp5dt and it was negative. Made me feel better to see the HCG out of my system with the negative one.

AFM; went to my ultrasound and they found a small sac with nothing in it. She wanted to check on HCG level again and she thought for sure it would be the same or go down and I would stop the progesterone. Well, she just called and said my hcg level went from 1830 to 3035 and she wants me to continue with the meds for two more days and they will do another u/s and bloodwork. This roller coaster is killing me. She said to not get my hopes up because my numbers are still on the below normal side.

Anton, I have a similar condition, no implantation. My doctor ordered a uterus MRI to check for adenomyosis, a condition interfering the embryo implantation. You may want to try it.

AFM, No call from the lab. My embryo did not survive to blast. A bit sad….

Deft... -- can't wait to hear your beta results for tomorrow!

Anton -- I always enjoy reading your posts. You are amazing. Your RE sounds great and is really going to work at getting answers

AFM -- I've been reading on-line and 2cc for PIO is very much a normal thing. It just feels like so much and makes my urine smell terrible. We are back from the funeral. It was a nice service. I'm starting to worry about my one little frostie and it not surviving the thaw. We knew that was a risk when we started this FET but I haven't really stressed or worried much about it until today. Ugh. We'll get a call by 9:30 letting us know if it survived or not.

Anton,
You are the most amazingly courageous determined one out here, and I know that faith with a little bit of science is going to bring you a baby! I am like you in putting faith first, because I truly believe God answers prayers when the time is right and absolutely we must continue to be patient and have this hope, it gives us a stronger sense of appreciation for his blessings. I agree PDG might be well worth going through to determine IF it might be the embryos. Our doctor told us he had a patient who got tired of IVF not working and when she went through the PDG she was able to find the best embryo for FET and had success at 40 yrs of age. Remember Celine Dion, she had twins at 42, so my friend there is still time. I am with you all the way, never give up on something you cannot stop thinking about, because as everyone of us knows "anything worth having in life is not meant to be easy."--A quote from my beloved dad.
Anton, know that I am continuing to travel with you every step of the way to your BFP!

Hi everybody

Anton - you're positivity is an an inspiration to us all. Well done for facing your grief and upset and still coming out the other side with a smile. So cool to hear that your RE is going to do some more investigation.

Kerri - sorry to hear your embie didn't make it. :(

Nancy - hope your FET went well. About 70-80% of embies survive the thaw so that's pretty good odds.

Deft - good luck with your beta tomorrow.

Jayne - Beta hell is the pits. I've got everything crossed for you.

Greekchick - you're allowed to get emotional. You've been through a lot. It's very normal to not have any symptoms at this stage.

Blissful - good luck with your u/s. Let's hope twinnies are on their way.

Afm - 7 of the 9 eggs collected underwent ICSI. This morning 4 of those had fertilised. Another one or two may drop off tomorrow but I'll be more than happy with one for transfer one one frostie. I can only implant one at a time due to the risk of Meckel-gruber syndrome recurring - 1:4 chance. It would be awful if i implanted two, got twinnies and one had MGS. It's an unsurvivable condition. Babies with MGS die in utereo, at birth or shortly after birth. ET will probably be tomorrow or the next day depending on how the embies are looking.

Sorry if I've missed anybody but the iPad's about to run out of juice.

GreekChick,
Remember you are never alone as so many understand how you are feeling...It's so easy to get emotional. Try to think positive and stay strong because you need to send some good vibes to your embibabies. Everything is now in nature's course and this will happen when the timing is perfect. So I'm with you don't poas and wait for the beta. I will be checking back over to see from time to time to see how our doing my friend. :D Sunshine1576

Hi everyone,

Kerri – Don’t be sad about your frosty didn’t make it because u won’t need it! You better focus on your BFP and sent positive vibes to your embie! :D ..Thank you for your kind words dear, and the recommendation on the Adenomyosis…about Adenomyosis, since I’ve already had a Labaroscopy and Hysterectomy, I won’t be needing any more checks to my uterus  everything looked fine when I had it 2yrs ago :D ...besides, I have NO symptoms of the disease and one of the main ones is uterine cramping with menstrual flow or begin days or even weeks before flow. Actually if I don’t see the blood I can barely feel that AF is here. Even on my heaviest days I don’t feel cramping…I guess I am lucky for that.. Among other things, the summary of this article regarding adenomyosis treatment is as follows:
Adenomyosis is a common cause of uterine symptoms in women over the age of 30. In the end, diagnosis of adenomyosis depends primarily on a thorough review and understanding of the woman’s personal medical history and information from a physical examination. Removal of the uterus is the best treatment currently available for this condition. …scary stuff…here’s a link I found that u will find useful
http://www.endometriosistreatment.org/h ... yosis.html

Greekchick- When is your beta? I am crossing my fingers for you to get that BFP! :D ...& stay away from those sticks! Bad sticks! Bad! :D

Deftonesmo- Can’t wait to hear amazing 2nd beta #’s!!! :D

Blissfull- I wish you to hear 2hb’s dear and have the twins you so much want to! :D

Jayne- I wish this HCG rollercoaster ends soon so that you can enjoy your pregnancy!

Nancy- Yay for the strong frosty of yours!! :D and yay for being PUPO!!! :D

Sunshine- thanks you so much for your kind word and for believing in my BFP! :D I wish you become a mommy SOON!!! And be sure that I’ll be there to cheer you on your BFP!!

Tess- I am so glad if I can inspire you! :D we need to hold on to each other’s word of comfort and give a cyber sholder to each other...that will mean that we are not alone in this ivf journey! It won’t easy the pain but is good to have company along the way :D ...Transferring one embie sounds good to me! :D Besides, all you need is one! Good luck! :D

Jmbella- Great beta results! I am so happy for you! :D

Smoon- I am SO happy you are having triplets!! That's a triple blessing my friend! Take good care of your self and your little beans :D

I want to thank you guys so much for your kind words and fro being here for me in spirit through this dificult moments. You guys are the best! :D HUGE thank you all of you ladies...Nwquiz, Greeckchick, Kbillsy, Jayne, Rio, Nancy, Margi, Lou, Dallas, Deftonesmo, Lyd, Blissfull, Sunshine, Wishingandhoping, Nicksgam, Smoon, Blagdymun, Fruit, Tess, Kerri, Heidi. AFM- AF arrived today ...right on schedule...somehow i feel reliefed...don't know why, I guess it feels like this cycle is coming to a closure with this AF...IVF #7 will be the lucky one! :D besides, #7 allways been my lucky # MY DH IS COMING TONIGHT!!!! WOOHOO!!! I am so excited is as if his been gone for a month or so! ..and as if Iam a 16yr old or something! who cares! I've missed him! and I am happy he is coming! :D It's been raining almost all day today for a strange reason...I did some grocery shopping and made Lebanese cream that my DH loves to eat! is to welcome him home with something sweet ...other than me... Got to go to my SIL now...more personals tomorrow! xxx

Blissful~ When is your ultrasound again?

Tess~ Good luck on your transfer. Stick embryo stick!

Nancy~ Glad the embryo survived the thaw. What a relief.

Anton~ You said hysterectomy... do you really not a uterus? Or did you mean hysteroscopy where they take a look? I've been offered the hysteroscopy and I'm considering it. Was it painful?

AFM- just made the appt with my doctor to get the ultrasound tomorrow. My gut is telling me that it's not great news. The sac was so much smaller than it should be without a heartbeat, yoke sac or pole. I'm almost 7 weeks. I wish that my HCG would stop going up because that makes everything confusing. Trust me, I would love a miracle surprise but I would rather stop now and start over if this pregnancy is not meant to be. I'm happy that my doctor is back in town so I can talk to him instead of the NP. Roller coaster is draining me a bit. If this pregnancy ends, I told my DH I need a nice vacation with a couple of really good margaritas before starting over with the hormones. Wish I had some frozen embryos.

Hey girls,

I am lying here for the usual 1 hour wait after transfer. Everything went great. I was nervous about doctor I had today but she was AWESOME!! They said my embie looked as though it had never been frozen and it was expanding. They almost did have to use the stitch but right as they went to tug she got it in place.

Doctor said my chances are very good

Let the bed rest begin. I'm PUPO!!!!! Couldn't be happier right now.
