Yay Dallas!!!! So glad to be on the other side with you. I know what you mean on feeling like you have to wait to join this board. I was a little nervous doing it before I saw a HB, but I did it anyway! You are very preggo mama and you are right where you belong.
Redridinghood- I wondered where you have been. Welcome! Love the AA comment. You have quite the sense of humor.
Kat and DC- I've been telling one of the other gals who used to be a runner that we should do a marathon the summer a year after our deliveries to lose the baby weight. Maybe we can start a group after we deliver on the Parents After Treatment board.

I know I am not going to run through my pregnancy. I think I will just walk and do yoga. I can feel my abdomen move when I run and it freaks me out. I am sure it would probably be good for the baby, but I don't know that I can mentally adapt. I might try an easy mile or two after the first trimester. As far as "other activities"...My RE told us we can go back to being "close" in a week. That too is freaking me out! I am also going to wait until at least after the first trimester for that. I have strong contractions when I ...um...you know...and it scares the heck out of me. Poor DH. The sacrificing for this little one continues. Lol.
RE updated my due date to 1/27 which put me back a day on my ticker. Weird... I could have sworn I was 6 weeks and 1 day and not just 6 weeks. I feel like I was robbed! This early I think we celebrate every single day. At least I do!
So isn't hearing and seeing the HB the most amazing thing? I mean he/she is so little and its there just beating away. DH and I were talking about today being a little like our first marathon. Your emotions are so high before the start (in the AM before the scan) and then you run the race (hear the HB) and when you finish you are left exhausted and with this feeling that you can't believe you just accomplished what you did. I swear this is the most exhausting and happiest day of my life.
xoxo,
Alisa
