Not many personals today I'm sorry. I feel like crap. Have had a stonking migraine since about yesterday afternoon. I frequently get migraines and recall getting a migraine a few days after starting progesterone pessaries before my last FET. I've just eaten some soup - first thing since yesterday lunchtime and thrown it up again. Have been trying to drink water regularly but it's the last thing I feel like doing. We've got a couple of young guys up in the ceiling space topping up the insulation. They were playing death metal music before but it's now changed to something a bit more bearable. Thank goodness. Death metal and migraines are not a good mix. I know tomorrow i'll start to feel a bit better. It's just something I've got to grin and bear. Makes me really appreciate my migraine tablets - when I can take them that is. My RE says the only thing i can take is paracetamol which doesn't even touch the side with migraines so there's no point me taking them. Anyway ladies, not very cheery today sorry but will come bouncing back tomorrow.

I'm so sorry about your migraine. Hoping it goes away and you get good sleep.

My beta is also on the 13th. I made the appt today. I'm going in at 10am. I like doing it that way so I don't have to fight as much traffic and I don't have to wait as long for results. I think I'll POAS prior to. How about you? Are you going to POAS?

Bed rest is going fine. I'm thankful I'm able to do it.

About when does implantation take place on a 5 day transfer?

I have such a good feeling about this. I sure hope it's correct.

hi ladies thank you for your kind words,just called my doctor he said if its brown not always means a bad thing but didnt say anyting else coz he dosnt want me get my hopesi think up but he asked me wait till monday for my blood test said best to wait....so now im waiting got all weekend to try get myself prepared .................hope everyone is ok?xx

I am so sorry. I was really hoping that the spotting was gonna be implantation spots and nothing more. I know this is difficult for you but try not to be hard on yourself. I wish you the best.

Greekchick - I am so so so so so sorry to hear your news. IVF is a very hard road as most of us can attest to. My advice would be to take some time out for healing before deciding whether or not you want to continue. You mind might well change you mind after a bit of a break. Our bodies and minds are pretty amazing at dealing with these situations. I'm thinking of you. Stay strong.

Kelley - my migraines are usually hormonal. I had a migraine at almost exactly the same time during my last IVF. I also had quite a few whammers in early pregnancy. Then come 10 wks, I didn't have any at all for the rest of my pregnancy - i.e 19 wks. Was quite a treat. Apparently some women got more, some get less. Any news on your beta yet?

Nancy - yay, we have betas on the same day. The procedure here is to have your blood taken before 9am and results will be back by mid afternoon. I think i'll definitely POAS - on the Saturday or Sunday but no sooner. Last time I peed on a stick 2 days before the beta and it was a BFP. I'd prefer to have a heads up about what the news is going to be, especially seeing as beta day is a work day. I'm really hoping I'm going to be preggas but kind of think that 3 out of 3 would be just too lucky. It kind of goes against the stats really. Still, I'll keep the PMA up and hope that this is all going to result in my dream come true - a healthy baby.

Afm - I had a good night's sleep and woke up feeling so much better. Thankfully, it's a long weekend so i've still got 3 days to go before going back to work. Time for a shower and a tidy up. The house is a bit of a pigsty. DH tries to keep it tidy but his efforts really don't cut the mustard.

Greek-I am so sorry hon...but are you absolutely sure? Seems so strange to get your period so early while you are on progesterone and its so early to test too. I don't mean to prolong the agony or pour salt on a wound but it seems unusual to me. Prayers to you for strength and understanding.

AFM- had my u/s today. One healthy baby with a strong heartbeat measuring right where he/she should be. Overjoyed...and exhausted!

I know I missed many of you ladies...PLEASE know that I read daily, but I just haven't had much time to post. We went camping over Memorial Day weekend & being a teacher at this time of the year is extremely hectic! We're getting down to the end of the school year, so there's a lot to do & a lot of events going on. My last day w/ the kids is Monday, June 20th & then teacher have a half-day professional development the following day. I have a 4-day weekend next weekend (Friday & the following Monday off) since I had to use up my 2 personal days that I had left. The week after that 4-day weekend, I have only 2 full schooldays w/ the kids & then that Thursday & Friday are half days for the students, & then that Monday, June 20th is a half-day for the kids & we have a yearbook signing in the morning & then an outside picnic/DJ. Looking forward to having 2 months off!
DH & I also have been house-searching, so that has taken up some of my time. I have a feeling it's going to take us a while to find something, but that's ok. Currently, we live on the 2nd floor of a 2-family house. We know our landlord very well; she used to work w/ DH. Her son & his wife live downstairs & they actually just bought a house & should be having their closing around July 1st, so their apartment should be empty & clean by the end of the July. So, if we do not find a house by then, which we probably won't since we'll be on vacation from July 1st through July 16th, we'll be moving downstairs. I'm happy about that b/c the downstairs is much nicer & more updated. Also, since we'll be cycling again at the end of July & I WILL be getting my BFP, I will need to be on the 1st floor, lol!
DH & I have an appointment w/ our RE on June 16th...I'll let you know how it goes.
