Beta came back.. WE are BFP... WOO HOOOOOOOOOO! So excited!

I know I missed many of you ladies...PLEASE know that I read daily, but I just haven't had much time to post. We went camping over Memorial Day weekend & being a teacher at this time of the year is extremely hectic! We're getting down to the end of the school year, so there's a lot to do & a lot of events going on. My last day w/ the kids is Monday, June 20th & then teacher have a half-day professional development the following day. I have a 4-day weekend next weekend (Friday & the following Monday off) since I had to use up my 2 personal days that I had left. The week after that 4-day weekend, I have only 2 full schooldays w/ the kids & then that Thursday & Friday are half days for the students, & then that Monday, June 20th is a half-day for the kids & we have a yearbook signing in the morning & then an outside picnic/DJ. Looking forward to having 2 months off!
DH & I also have been house-searching, so that has taken up some of my time. I have a feeling it's going to take us a while to find something, but that's ok. Currently, we live on the 2nd floor of a 2-family house. We know our landlord very well; she used to work w/ DH. Her son & his wife live downstairs & they actually just bought a house & should be having their closing around July 1st, so their apartment should be empty & clean by the end of the July. So, if we do not find a house by then, which we probably won't since we'll be on vacation from July 1st through July 16th, we'll be moving downstairs. I'm happy about that b/c the downstairs is much nicer & more updated. Also, since we'll be cycling again at the end of July & I WILL be getting my BFP, I will need to be on the 1st floor, lol!
DH & I have an appointment w/ our RE on June 16th...I'll let you know how it goes.

AFM- had my u/s today. One healthy baby with a strong heartbeat measuring right where he/she should be. Overjoyed...and exhausted!

thanks everyone for kind words yes it was a negative blood tests never mind i will still b stalking everyone but dont think i have it in me to do ivf again,doctor wants to do more tests on my dna and something else i think he said cant remember but im not going im through with it,good luck with everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Moorebaby- thanks for being an absolute trooper and an inspiration. Sounds like you have had a busy several weeks. Great to hear from you.

NIcksgam- I am hoping for an uneventful pregnancy as well. Thank you dear. Part of me is still waiting for the other shoe to fall. It just seems too good to be true.

Hey BLISSY-CRASHING N STLKG...I'm so happy u got to see the lil peanut live n person. That makes it all so real. The only shoe we wanna see drop is that cute little booty. I know it's hard not to be a little pessimistic...this is IVF for goodness sake. XOXO

moorebaby, thank you for checking on me. My beta was yesterday. 5.74. Which pretty much means a chemical pregnancy. I have another beta tomorrow to be sure. Then we can regroup and figure out what to do next. I am heartbroken, but I know it's beyond my control.

Blissful, I'm so happy for you & DH, I know it wasn't an easy journey but it's so worth it now!!! OMG, this group has been so blessed...I'm thrilled that I am a part of it! ENJOY being pregnant....I still can't believe I am at times....CONGRATS!!!

Bliss - huge congratulations!!!! i know you were hoping for two but one is safer and much less chance of premature birth or prolonged bedrest for you. which with your job sounds like it could be an inconvenience.

moorebaby - i am so glad you are feeling a little better and making plans for the future!

AFM, my frozen transfer is this coming tuesday. very exciting. i am in the midst of changing departments at work and am swamped with ramp up at the new job. i am looking forward to taking a few days off for bedrest. i had an estrogen induced meltdown last night and my DH got the brunt of it, poor thing. and i havent even started progesterone yet, which is the really evil one

Thanks LYD. There was a very brief moment of disappointment when they only found one pregnancy yesterday, but only very brief. I know this is best for me and the baby. Overall yesterday was simply the best day of my life. Seeing that HB was amazing. You are next! I am so excited for you to be PUPO. Only three more sleeps!

Crissy- you are the best stalker ever. I am pretty optimistic. The last couple of days have been sort of tough on the boards with some of the ladies on other threads really struggling with BFNs and losses. So while I am super positive and the PMA is high, I do have my moments. I think we all do! LIke you said, its IVF. I am thinking if my little bean can make it through all the stress and travel over the last 4 weeks, he or she can make it through just about anything!

blissful--love ur ultra sound pic congrats!!!....i thought the same thought it was maybe implantion spotting anyway,but i had brown discharge then some blood so doctor said ok do a blood test this was friday that was 12 days past 3dt since the test ive had no blood just brown discharge but test was negative so i now im defo not pregant,i would love hold on to the idea that yes maybe i am but im not maybe 1 day it will be me im not so sure any more if i can take the heart ache,i will see be reading and keeping an eye on you,hope ur well....xdid they give u a due date?xx

Oh Greek I am so sorry about your BFN. You will be a momma someday. I just know it.


I feel ok today. still cramping but its ok. My beta was 79 and the next one is on Monday. I will update y'all on Monday.

Greek- they gave me a due date of 1/27. I had previously calculated 1/26...so techinically I lost a day of pregnancy on my ticker. lol. Thanks for the update and the kind words. Hugs to you.

Texas- fingers crossed for doubling! I cramped TERRIBLY the night after my first beta. I told my husband I think my uterus must have expanded as much as it needed to for the whole pregnancy in week 4. The cramps are totally gone now, but my belly is pretty tight. I think the cramps are an indication of a super healthy pregnancy
