Thanks Katie! I was thinking about you. How are you surviving the 3 boys? ;) You are my super hero mom! I would love to see pictures of all 3, I cannot believe that they are 10 weeks already! Are you working or staying home? Best wishes for your family!!!!

Ryann - looking good! Stretch marks are just a mother's burden... yours aren't so bad at all. I've seen my own mother's stomach... and they say it's genetic. I'm worried about myself! But my mom says the four of us were worth giving up bikinis for!

Alisa (BlissCS) - congrats! Amazing! I'm so happy for your and your bean, with his/her little heartbeat!

Karen (scorpio) - over 4cm? That's great! I'm sure your little girl will stay baking another few weeks and be born perfectly healthy. Btw - July 20 is a fantastic birthday - it's my little brother's! Your daughter will be exactly 18 years younger than my littlest brother!

Amanda - glad you got to go home. I hope the contractions give you a break though - that sounds tough to relax. Enjoy your 'vacation' until the baby comes!

Karen (vancouver) - congrats on picking a name! We have to pick 2 and we are NO where close to figuring it out!

Ashley - hope the palipitations are better. For some reason, I can't see your picture... :( I'm sure it's fabulous though! Time seems to be flying! Congrats on being halfway through!

Lou - We've been talking about baby stuff -- TOTALLY OVERWHELMING! We already have a double Snap'n'Go stroller that I bought used last time. I think we are going to go with the Baby Jogger City Mini Double. The one disadvantage is that the babies can't face you, they always face outwards, but I figure we'll use the carseats and snap'n'go for the beginning anyways. I've started looking at carseats -- I have NO idea what the differences are! I guess we'll just pick some.... I love the name Chloe!

Kat - you should also pick Chloe! :D You guys don't live near each other - who cares if you have the same names!

Barbara - I can still see my feet if I lean over, but just standing straight, my feet have disappeared and I'm only 17 weeks! gah! Ask DH to check and make sure they are still there :D I *love* the temporary tattoos - great idea!

Rio - flashing lights would be nice. I'm waaaay too early to deliver -so every cramp I get, I worry that it's PTL.... Of course, doctor says it's just regular stretching and could also be baby movements, but I wish I knew for sure it was NOT labor! Also, why are you looking for post-C-Section panties? Are you having a C-section?

AFM - nothing new to report! I feel like I'm getting huge... I know that a belly pic is overdue. Maybe I'll get dressed today and take one :D

I've been bored, so I've been watching movies. People recommended "Pregnant in America" and Ricki Lake's "The Business of Being Born" which made me really think. Of couse, those movies have an agenda, but still.... But things here in Israel are actually quite a bit different than in the USA. My doctor will NOT be there when I deliver. The hospitals are staffed with midwives and midwife-nurses. Doctors are only called when they are needed. Most women deliver without seeing a doctor after they are in labor. Of course, I'll probably be a special case, since twins are always more complicated. We'll see closer to the end if I'll need a C-section or can 'attempt' a vaginal delivery (which will be done in an OR, in case Baby B needs an emergency C-section). Not sure if my doctor will do the C-section, or just the OB surgeon in the hospital. We'll see. Apparently, the whole system here is different than in America, probably because we have a national health care system and hospitals don't make any money on L&D, and lawsuits are extremely rare here ( and doctors usually win).

I'm still really worried that the bleeding last week was a really bad sign. My OB said to come for another cervical check and appt 'in two weeks', so in another week and a half at 19w2d. That seems a little far away. I think that if I have any more bleeding or any really bad cramping, I'll go in for another check.

Another Jewish holiday this week - Shavuot - when we commemorate the giving of the Torah at Mt Sinai. Just a one day holiday -- with TONS of good food! Hopefully, I'll have an appetite!

***Crashing**** :D :D :D

I've been lurking and reading your posts about strollers . . . we just LOVE the BOB stroller . . . I don't know if any of your are joggers, but the BOB is great for exercise . . . I never have to worry about uneven surfaces, it's so easy to push, and it's a breeze to collapse and put in the trunk . . . even for strolling around the mall or outside, it turns so easy . . . they make a double bob as well . . . thinking about getting one of those for DD and the new baby . . .

Glad to see everyone is progressing so nicely in their pregnancies! back to lurking and stalking :D :D :D

Mairi Ann -- I'm so so sorry for your loss. I fully understand the pain you feel because I've been there. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Barbara -- Love, love, the belly pics! Esp the one with the tattoo!!!

Ryann -- I hope you had a wonderful shower! Mine is 8/7. I can't wait!

Kat -- Really?!? You had the SAME two names picked? Do you know your bean flavor yet? I think we're going to go with Chloe. It's not in stone yet... but pretty close. I've already started calling her that.... hehe.

To everyone -- Wow... thank you ALL for the great stroller advice! I'm going to check out all of your suggestions before deciding what to buy. Thanks everyone! :D Also, thanks for the name advice.... I'm thinking "Chloe Janice" it will be. This way I can honor my mother whose name was Janice AND my MIL whose initials are CJ also.

AFM -- I got a couple u/s pics uploaded from last week. Here's a profile pic with her hand in front of her face. She had just taken her thumb out of her mouth.
Image

And here's one where she was playing with her toes. It was so cute and amazing to watch her do that! I'm sooo in love.

Lou- I have to agree with everyone and go with Chloe. Such a cute name and I think its great that she will have your mothers middle name and MIL initials. Her little profile is too cute and I loved seeing her playing with her toes.

Leora- Your belly pic is very very long overdue!! Get some clothes on and attempt the pic- it usually takes me quite a few to get one that Im ok with. Its crazy how different things are in Israel compared to America, and that they only have midwives and nurse-midwives instead of MDs in the delivery rooms. Do you have a preference on c-section over vaginal?

Bliss- Still so excited for you. Love the new US pic with your signature too!! I wish I had your motivation to do homework. Yesterday I needed to get started with homework for 2 classes that start today…but instead I did stuff around the house. I just didn’t feel like it- so Im worried its going to make for a long 12 wk quarter.

Happy Bunny- Hah. That tattoo is hilarious. You have such a cute belly and are getting sooo close to meeting Brooke.

Mairi Anne- I am soo soo sorry. I hate that you had to go through this. Wishing you and DH the strength to get through this.

SD- Thanks for your kind words. As much as it sucked last week we are trying to accept that it happened for a reason and the other two will be healthier because of it.

Klinger- Woo hoo for no more work!!! I have been discussing the whole issue with DH lately. When we were having triplets we knew I would have to stay home no matter what because of the daycare costs…but now that its two going back to work has been thrown back into the cards. Im still thinking I would rather stay home, but I guess we need to sit down and work out the logistics.

Ryann- So exciting that you had your shower. Youll have to post pics and show us some of the great stuff you got. Hoping your sister didn’t go into labor and was able to attend. Your belly pic is still so cute and tiny. Im pretty worried about stretch marks given the state of my sister and moms stomachs after 3 kids each. Hoping somehow I have a little different gene composition and can bypass the stretchmarks by slopping on tons of lotion every day.

Ashley- Cant believe your already over the half-way point. Its crazy how fast time has been going by. For some reason my computer wouldn’t pull up your belly pic so Ill have to try again from home later. Cant wait until you get to see what flavor he/she is!!!

Karenvancouver- I love the name you are going with!!

AFM- Sorry if I missed anyone. Nothing too exciting this weekend. We did switch our 2 spare rooms since we had originally planned on using the smaller of the two for the nursery (before we found out we were having more than one baby). So both our moms came to paint and then helped move the furniture into the “new” guest bedroom. Now the other room will sit empty for a while but its nice to be able to pile stuff in there if we need to. I really do need to post a belly pic- my sister says I look bigger every day so I will try to get to it sooner than later. Of course Im staying in a somewhat state of worry until next weeks apt just to make sure they are still doing great.

I forgot to add to the hospital bag that taking a dress to come home is really practical, if you end up with a c-sec it doesn't push or hurt you and you can feel very comfy when you are not feeling so great! Oh and don't take any undies or robes you like they will get ruined!

Quick post...

My absolute favorite thing are all the bump pics! Everyone looks so adorable!!! Keep 'em coming ladies!

Amanda - Glad to hear they got things under control with little Maribel and those contractions. It sounds like you're in GREAT hands!

Bliss - CONGRATS on the official heartbeat! Wasn't it the most beautiful image you've ever seen?!

Ryann - Hope the shower was WONDERFUL! Pics???

Lou - I never got around to voting, but mine was for Chloe. Beautiful name! LOVE the u/s pics!!! What an animated little girl she is!

Blair - No worries, momma! I just know all is well with your LOs! :D

Rio - Thanks for the c-sec advice! I'm going to go buy a super cute new summery dress for my coming home outfit.

afm - Keeping up with the posts everyday and silently cheering everyone on. I'm just to the point of such extreme discomfort that I can't even find the strength to do personals. Last Thursday (@ 35 wks 2 days) I measured over 45 wks!!! Knowing from previous experience that around 36 wks in a singleton pregnancy is when you start feeling absolutely miserable, I figure I've been in that stage for over 10 wks now. And these boys just keep growing! At my 34 wk growth scan, Brady was 5 lb 9 oz and Jaxon was 5 lb 2 oz. I have another growth scan on Thursday. I have a feeling I will returning some of my preemie stuff if they keep up at this rate! I'm going to ask for a cervix check Thursday, but as of a recent trip to L&D... absolutely NO CHANGES! Ugh. I'm soooooooo friggin' ready! Looks like they're gonna hang on until my scheduled induction/c-sec on June 21...

Stephanie -- Thanks so much for your vote! Chloe was my choice all along as well. She's been very active right from the start. When I was having weekly u/s with RE due to SCH, she was always seen bouncing all over the place. He nicknamed her the "dancing queen" but back then we didn't know the gender yet. How right he was! I can't believe you are at 36 weeks with twins. You're doing great mama!!! Gosh, you will be holding those perfect little baby boys so very very soon. Make sure you keep us posted. I have a feeling you aren't going to make it to your induction on 6/21!

Blissful -- Aw, thanks hun. I do feel blessed. I realize I'm biased but I thought she looked pretty gorgeous and perfect myself too, lol. Soon your little one will be looking like that on an u/s too! Congrats again.

Leora - YAY for posting your belly pics! You look FABULOUS (and your dog is adorable too!) And that's really interesting how deliveries are handled in Israel, sounds so different than here.

Lou - Love the pics of your little one! Soooo cute!

Stephanie - Wow, your boys are bound and determined to stay all comfy cozy until the last minute huh? I can't imagine! I'm so uncomfortable now with one little one, I can't imagine two big boys taking up all that real estate. I'm glad though that it looks like they're going to wait until their ready and come out all good and healthy.

AFM, I'm doing ok with my modified bed rest. It still amazes me that after only moments of being up and about, the contractions start right back up. DH & I went out to dinner tonight and from the time I got up to get dressed to go out until the time we got home, there they were, 2-3 minutes apart the whole time. Ah well, they're no stronger than they were last week so still nothing to worry about. My next prenatal appt is tomorrow morning so we'll see if doc changes anything with my meds or just continues as is.

Maire Anne- I'm so sorry for you and DH's loss, my heart breaks for you.

Happy Bunny- Love the belly pic with tatoo.

Blissful- Good luck with your paper.

Leora- Love the belly pics!! Your puppy is adorable.

Lou- Love the ultraosund pics they came out so good. I picked those two names out but Chris vetoed them. We don't know the sex and wont till August 3rd. If we have a girl he really wants to name her Sophia aftre his Grandmother. But his cousin did that so not sure what to do.

AFM: Nothing much going on. I had a horrible headache yesterday but would have felt great if it wasn't for that. I feel good today. Just really tired.

When did you all end your nausea? This pregnancy is so differant as I got MS soo early and it seems to be letting up already at 9 weeks. I can honestly say it hasn't been all to bad. With my others I never got MS till 8 weeks and it never let up till 12 weeks. And I threw up once a day with my daughter's and son I couldnt' keep a thing down.

sweet pea- Im so jealous that your MS usually doesnt last long. As soon as I hit 5 1/2 weeks or so ive been sick ever since. I really like the name sophia and even if his cousin did it I think its cute!!!

klinger- Sorry that the contractions are getting so strong so fast. Hopefully she can stay in awhile longer and make her appearance. Is it wierd getting so close to the end after such a long journey?

Stephanie- Hopefully your right and they are both doing great in there. I think since your boys are already so big they will be coming before the scheduled c-section. Did your MD give you the option of natural or c-section? Im trying to decide which would be better. I would just hate to deliver one vaginally and then end up needing a c-section anyway. Hopefully your next cervix check reveals some changes and the boys will be here before you know it.

Leora- So cute!!! I dont know why it took so long for you to post it- you look great!!! I am worried that by 18 wks I will look like a monster. Im already in maternity pants and feel bigger every day. You look great though so keep the belly pics coming!!
