Hi everybody

Deft- you must be so excited about your u/s. The big question is...one or two?

Kelley and Kerrie - sorry for thinking you were the same person. I am such a dick sometimes.

Akdelp - good luck with your FET in a couple of weeks. :)

Becca and Greek - I hope you're both doing okay.

Kelley - howdya beta go today?

Lyd - I had a big time progesterone melt down last night. I couldn't sleep because I was upset and worried about anything and everything. Had a big barney with DH this morning which eventually resulting in us going for a big walk and chilling out w little. I can't remember the hormones having such an effect during my 1st IVF cycle but this time around I've been walloped around the head!

Afm- unfortunately none of our embies survived to become frosties. The one that did turn into a blastocyst was not a good enough quality to freeze. I'm a bit bummed out to say the least but that's life. Here's hoping that the one transferred is getting ready to snuggle in over the next couple of days. I think this cycle has been much worse than my first. The first cycle I went into naievely, not fully understanding the huge rollercoaster IVF can be. That's not a bad thing I think but it does come as a shock when things don't go to plan. This time round, I'm well aware of every hurdle along the way which makes the journey much harder I think.
DH and I have a 2 wk holiday booked in North Queensland, Australia the week after the beta. Either way, whether I'm pregnant or not, I can't wait. This year has been the hardest one ever and DH and I are so in need of some R & R and time out.

Kerri,

Did you mean BFN? I saw in another thread you said BFN but here it says BFP but the words surrounding it sound like you meant BFN. Anyway, don't give up. The beta is the final word. There are women that have gotten negative HPT the morning of beta and then the beta was BFP.

I know what you mean about being prepared. I feel the same way. I POAS again this morning (6dp5dt) and it was negative. I'm not upset or down as it's still early. Now once I get to 9 and 10dp5dt, then I'll be struggling to take my own above advice. :-)

Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone,

sorry I've been MIA, I'll try and catch up with at least the most of you...

Jayne- I meant hysteroscopy!  ...well I don’t know if it’s painful b/c when I did it back in Oct 2009 my OB did it along with the Laparoscopy and overall it took me about a week to be able to walk straight and from I had so much bloating at my abdomen that I looked like a 4-5 months pregnant!. Maybe is the combination of both that hurt so much!. I wish you everything to be ok and your little bean to be perfect! Image

Greekchick- I am SO SORRY you didn’t get your BFP this time honey :( ...don’t rush into making any decisions of quitting yet! You are so young and have plenty of time ahead of you to get yourself a baby!  I’ll be here waiting to cheer you on that!...you are in my prayers kali mou...xxxx Image

Deftonesmo- SO happy everything is looking good for you my friend! :D Enjoy this pregnancy you so much deserve! I am sure that either if its one or two buns in the oven the joy of a pregnancy is the same! I am happy for you! Image

Nancy- How’s the pupo girl doing! having in crazy town already! Image

Kerri- Nothing is over until you get that beta honey! GOOD LUCK with it!! I am crossing my fingers for you!! Image

Blagdymun- I am SO happy you and your little juju bean are doing great! Image

Rypell- Just so your ticker from your post to becca...you are almost there! :D you must be really excited! 29 weeks and your baby boy and baby girl are just around the corner! :D How do you feel? :D if I may ask, how many kg have you gain with the twins so far? Good luck with everything! Image

Tess- Congratulations on being PUPO!!! I wish you get that BFP in 2weeks!!! :D Sorry for no frosties but you won’t need them! You are getting your BFP this time! Nice holiday’s plans you’ve got there! I really wish you are preggo by then and celebrate these vacations with your hubby! Image

Texasgal- HUGE CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY!!! I couldn’t be happier for you girl!  I am crossing my fingers for great beta #’s for you today!! Image

Blagdymun-Thank you for having me in your prayers! :D ...So tomorrow is the day you announce the news to your parents! How exciting that must be! Image

Blissful- YAY for one healthy baby with a strong h/b!!! :D I am sorry you didn’t get the twins you wanted but we must be thankful with everything we receive ;) One baby sounds like a miracle to me! Image

Moorebaby- Thank you SO much for the wonderful words! You are so kind...I guess we all deserve to be moms one day, is the “when” that is the hard part...but I feel we are getting there! I wish you with all my heart that you get your BFP in July!!! I’ll be there to celebrate with you! :D YAY! For moving to a better place! Changes can be good... Image

Becca-I am sorry dear :D hang in there! You are not alone.... Image

LYD- I wish you good luck tomorrow on your FET! Everything will be great! :D I am crossing my fingers for you! Image

Adkelp- Hello my friend! :D your FET on the 23rd will bring you that BFP you so much want! :D Fingers crossed for you! Image

Sunshine- Hi there! :D How’s it going? Getting ready to get that BFP! ;) I am waiting to cheer you on! Image

sorry if I missed anyone...

AFM- I 've been realy busy trying to get everything done our Goddaugher's Christening in UK onthe 25th. It took me ages to finish bombonieres and finally they are DONE!! :D thank God my SIL came on Saturday afternoon and helped me finish them. me and DH took her to an Italian restaurant ater to thank her. Tomorrow morning I am going to buy the Christening dress and shoes and some extra clothing for the baby and then I'll finish the Christening box and that's it. I am going to try and post some pics of the bombonieres for you guys to see my creation! 8) ...my DH came and we had a lovelly time together along with our grief for the BFN we promise to each other to look at the future with positivity and get up on the horse again with our fingers crossed for a BFP next time. He is leaving again on Thurdsday for Russia to attend a conference in which he is going to be one of the presenters. So unfortunatelly he is not going to be here on my 37th birthday this Saturday 11th :( he felt bad and promissed to take me out for dinner before he leaves for a pre-birthday dinner to a really nice sushi restaurant (we both love sushi) so I can't complain here... On my birthday on Saturday I am taking out my SIL and MIL for dinner at my favourite Chinese restaurant. (my parents will be out of town so they cant attend and so is my brother) My best friend Maggie has a beach house and insisted that I am not spending my birthday weekend home alone so I am driving there (1 1/2hrs from my house) first thing Sunday morning and come back on Monday when my DH comes from his trip (Monday is a bank holiday) So Iam looking forward to spend 2 days at the beach! this will the first of many this summer :D ...this past weekend we have spend most of the day time home alone with DH doing some gardening,. reading our books and magazines and relaxing by the pool. it was 35 something celcious degrees this weekend!! Exctremely HOT!!! thank God for Pool invention! we already got a nice tan! :D ...we have decided that we book our WTF RE appt when he gets back from Russia and before we go to the UK for the Christening on the 23rd. we will discuss our next steps and hopefully he will give us the green light to start our 7th fresh IVF cycle when we get back from UK on the 30th June. that is first week of July (right when I get a visit from AF  ) Looking forward to get back on the rollercoaster and start full injectibles to get to our BFP! Crossing our fingers we get it this time! I SO want to be pregnant this Summer!!!!! God help me!...So, one of my Winter board cycling buddies reccoment that we read this book by Brooke Shields its called "Down came the rain" and my DH brought it for me from UK and I read it this weekend. its so easy written and it describes her struggles to conceive a child through IVF and then the after pregnancy journey through Postpartum Depression. I recommend it! if you ladies haven't read it already...God I got carried away with "talking" !!!

Anton...it is so nice to see your bright and shining posts! Thanks, and yes, they will be here really soon! That picture was adorable....just melted my heart :) As for the weight gain...I had to look up how to convert!!! I have gained 20lbs, which it looks like is equal to about 9kg? I think that is correct! I really can't wait for you to get your BFP....know that I have been reading all of your posts and silently cheering you on. My heart broke for you when you got your BFN, but you have such a wonderful outlook, that this will work for you. I will continue to be your cheerleader until you join us on the other side!!!!!

anton - yeah!!! Love your posts! You are such a special gal!

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. I am pumped and ready for this blasto stick!!!

Was wondering any advice you all may have - this will be our first transfer ever and we don't know how many to transfer. We have 2 blasto's frozen, 1 is excellent the other is good. They are going to thaw 7 at the pronuc stage and see where they go....if they don't we have the two back up, provided they thaw well....ahh...decisions.

Thanks ladies...you all are the best!!

Sorry ladies its taken me so long to post today. I have been soooooo Busy. My Beta today was 324. They were very happy with that. Thats a doubling of 1.5 per day. We are over the moon with happiness. The U/S is scheduled for Monday at 1. I will come back tomorrow and give personals. I am tired and my butt hurts from the progestrone shots. Oh that reminds me.. last night scared the crap out of me I started spotting and I freaked out. Came and went and was gone in like 10 minutes. The nurse on call said it was from the suppositories.

Until tomorrow!!!

kel

Can someone give me instructions on how to add the ticker. I cant figure it out?

Yahoo for a great beta!! Super news to read tonight!!! If you are doing PIO, what are the suppositories for?

Ticker -- just copy and paste the proper formatted one into your siggy line optiion via the user's control panel. When you create your ticker, they usually give you a couple of different ones to chose from. The difference is the formatting for different uses (emails, blogs vs message boards etc.....). Just choose the one that is for message boards. At least I think that's all there is to it.

thank you, guys! thank you crissylove, blissful and anton for remembering. you guys are such good cycle buddies. much better than me.
yes, my ET is tomorrow. i got an email from my embryologist three embryos thawed and she said they looked good. she will let me know tomorrow morning if they all look good tomorrow for transfer. if not she will thaw another one from 2 years ago. i am sitting on a heating pad now, post progesterone shot. i came down with a cold, so not feeling so hot. its a mild virus - got it from DH. i am not too worried about it - i have 2 day bedrest coming up. jut dont want to give it to my DS. nothing worse than sick kids - they are so grumpy when they are sick.

i like frozen transfers because you can schedule them. i picked early in the week because DS is at his daycare till saturday. so my DH only has to handle mornings and evenings by himself. i am going to hide in a spare room upstairs.

my transition to the new department is going well. ramping up on a new job is always challenging - but so far so good. keeps my mind off the 2ww craziness.

i hope this cycle will be successful for us. all these hormones take a toll on me. i dont even know what my regular body feels like. since january of this year i've either been ramping up a cycle or waiting for the ectopic to go away. between lupron, estrogen and progesterone - i forgot what my regular body feel like. like i said - i so hope this is a successful cycle for us. if not then we'll do another FET with whatever embryos will be left after this one - hopefully 3 will be still left. but i hope i wont have to.
