Amanda - you really should check out IKEA for baby/children's stuff. Specifically 'baby' or 'nursery' they don't have so much, but they have really really cute stuff for older children too. They have some really nice toys and dolls and really cute furniture (I want to redecorate MY room with the princess theme!) -- Full term tomorrow! Woohoo! You made it mama!
Margi - From what I've been told, we are going to want the babies in our room for the first 1-3 months, but after that, we are really going to want to move them into their own room. So if the crib/basinnet doesn't match our room, I don't care so much. You look great! And those 3D pics are precious. Good luck at your anatomy scan today! (Can't believe I still have to wait another 2weeks!)
Blair - I've heard a lot of people say that Dr. Luke's book "When you are exepcting twins, triplets or quads" has some really inaccessible weight gain goals. Of course, everyone wants those 7lbs babies, but not everyone can gain all that weight. You can gain that much and more and still have low birthweight babies - or gain not as much and have perfectly healthy babies. Try not to worry so much about Dr Luke's recommendation. Mention to your doctor that you've read the book (s/he is probably well aware of it) and you are concerned about your weight gain. Your doctor will tell you if Dr Luke's recommendations are reasonable for YOU.
Rio - having a name that works in English AND another language is a concern for us. We plan on raising these kids here, so their names have to be appropriate in Hebrew, but we are American and so are both sets of grandparents-to-be. These kids will probably make lots of trips back and forth - I want their names to be usable in English too! (One really popular girl's name here is "Moron" pronounced "Moh-rohn" -- but I can't have a kid named "Moron"!) ----- as for sex, I've been on and off pelvic rest - so we really haven't done much. Now I'm all cleared, but we are getting right to the point where we lost our last twins and I'm freaking out. Also, for some reason (either nerves/emotions or hormones), I'm not enjoying it at all -- and I usually enjoy more than once, if you catch my drift

. When I can't get into it, DH feels really self-concious that HE is doing something wrong. Also, the belly makes things more complicated too. You are definitely not alone! Talk to your husband, I'm sure he'll understand.
Ryann - apparently my mother's urge to get a good deal is stronger than her desire to wait to buy baby stuff! This is the stuff of classic "Jewish guilt"!

Sorry that bedrest is being such a pain. Especially in the summer, when so much fun stuff is going on - and nothing is on TV - and everything feels stuff inside. You are looking great - and that nephew is adorable ! How fun to have cousins so close in age. You live close to your sister, right? So all 3 kids will grow up together!
Karen - 34 weeks is great - but hopefully you'll see that 38-week date too!
Ashley - wow! That move happened fast! Personally, I would skip the tights. It's gotta be HOT in California - and you can still show off some leg while pregnant! Have fun at the baby shower! As for OB appts, my doctor evaluates me everytime and schedules the next appt based on how I'm doing. I saw him every 2 weeks since 14 weeks - but now I'm going from 19 to 23 with no appts. When things are good, every 4 weeks is normal until later on.
Lou - nothing to report is great! Means things are normal and good! Congrats on reaching 24 weeks in a few days. That's a huge milestone!
Anna - yay! holding steady is even more important than length at this point! Sorry that it's going to be a long boring summer of rest, but baby Paul will be here before Autumn starts!
Kat- kids out of school already? This is only the second year that I've NOT been on a school schedule (finished my MA 2 years ago) It's so weird when no one has summer vacation - June July and August all blend together! Have fun with your daughter! Spend lots of time in the pool!
PAGE 100!
AFM - exciting 20 week milestone yesterday. Of course I'm holding my breath until at least 24. I'm getting soooo nervous because I'm so close to when things when wrong last time.... really hoping things are different now!
I went to the pharmacy and bought OTC meds for heartburn, constipation and hemorrhoids.... I feel so old and pathetic!

Maybe I can pretend I'm buying them for my grandmother or something!
