Alisa- Oh sweetie, so sorry that you're back in the hospital, but I guess it's better that you & Evie are being monitored. Love the picture if Evie in 4D...she's gorgeous!
longtimerivf- How exciting to be starting the 3rd trimester! Check out my AFM section below to see the things I'm considering for my LOs.
DALLAS- Any sign of labor? I hope your LOs get here before the New Year!
Katie- Originally, we were thinking a 3 bedroom- 1 for us, 1 for the baby, & a spare/guest bedroom. Well, now that we're having 2, a part of me is thinking if we're going to buy in a year or so, we should just go for something we're going to be in for a long time & not a starter home from which we'd have to move in 5 years or so. So, w/ that thought process, I'm thinking as they get older (especially since they're different sexes), they are going to want their own space, so maybe a 4 bedroom would be better. DH doesn't know this yet as he will think I'm crazy & that we won't be able to afford a 4 bedroom. The other option could be a 3 bedroom w/ a finished basement or a basement that could be finished. That could allow us to have space for over-night visitors, etc. What a sweet DH you have...I bet the jewelry he got you is beautiful!
Addy- Thanks on the names! I'm kind of stuck about Madison though. DH's brother has a dog named Madison. I remember when they got her, I was so bummed that they decided to go w/ that name. I'm not sure if we should go w/ that name. DH said the dog isn't going to be around forever, so if I really want to go w/ it, I should. But, Justine is so beautiful to me. I can call her Juju for short. Is your OB appointment today or next Thursday?
Bonnie- How exciting...possibly twins?! Well, either way, you're preggo & that is awesome!
Sunshine- Yes, you have my b-day correct.
AFM- Yesterday, I did some major research on the things that we need for the LOs. Here's what I came up w/:
Stroller: It's between a Kolcraft Contours® Options® II Tandem (
http://www.kolcraft.com/products/stroll ... -ii-tandem) & a BabyTrend Sit n Stand (
http://www.babytrend.com/strollers_double/). What I love about both of these is that the seats reverse to create different stroller options, so the babies can face each other, both face me, both face away from me, etc. The Contours accepts many different carseats, so that's a plus. However, it doesn't have child trays like the BabyTrend does. However, the BabyTrend says "Accepts two infant car seats: (for better fit and performance you may need to remove the canopy of the stroller)," so I don't know what that means. DH & I are going to BRU today to check out the BabyTrend & play around w/ it. The Kolcraft I've only been able to find online.
