**CRASHING** (am I still a crashing stalker if I do it so much?! Hope y'all don't mind my dropping by so frequently...)

Lydia: Congratulations!! Everything looks good to me! As Anna said, the rate slows down after 1500. Take care of your PREGNANT self....I know the next wait for u/s is another nerve-wracking time, but try to take it easy. I know it is easier said than done--believe me--I totally can remember that waiting time. But you have to try to let yourself rejoice in each positive step...and this is definitely one of them!! I am so happy for you!! :D :D :D

So I talked to dh about the coordinator today and he said if I want he will call them tomorrow while I'm at work but I told him maybe thinking I would like to be there too... you know since I have tons of questions all bottled up. I also mentioned to dh that maybe IF we have several good embryos could we transfer 3 and be MORE aggressive? I'm also thinking since we would be on a "payment plan" why wait until summer to get started? lol I haven't even gotten approved for the program and here I am making my own arrangement...We'll see how everything plays out on Friday, it's probably good that I'm working tomorrow for a much needed distraction for now. :D

Have I ever said how much I hate being sick!!!!!!! Ahhh. DH and I are both quite sick with respiratory/cold type stuff. Yuck. It's amazing how something as small as your face can cause so much pain.

Maria - that is NOT a faint line for 5dp5dt! That is fantastic! When is your blood test? Not that it really matters, you are definitely pregnant!

Lydia - try not to stress about the numbers and especially about symptoms or lackthereof. I suffer from horrific nausea and vomiting - and that doesn't start until almost 6 weeks. Try to relax. At 6w3d, I've always seen a heartbeat -- good luck! Only a week left to wait!

kerpupples - wow. 78% chance of delivery? That's insane! How can they have such great odds? As far as I understand, even if someone is pregnant, there is a 20% chance of miscarriage -- so I'm confused by your statistics. In any case - good luck at transfer today! (since you did genetic testing -- will they tell you if the embryos are boys or girls or both?)

Christy - so annoying when you can't reach people by phone! I hope you don't have to wait for summer if you don't have to! I hope you get lots of answers when you get through to them!

Laura & Bonnie - of course, the dream for infertile couples is to end a pregnancy with 2 healthy babies --- but carrying twins is a huge risk, both for mom and babies. The ideal IVF outcome is a singleton pregnancy - so congrats to both of you for achieving that!

Patricia - ugh. I hate paying for car repairs. Luckily, we have a relatively new car so not many repairs, but we had a fender bender (my fault  ) last year that ended up costing a fortune. I saw on People.com that Sinead O'Connor 'reunited' with him -- so funny to see it on there and on here! :D

Margi- you are always welcome here! I expect you to stalk me until I have my baby, at least! :D

Nicole (blue eyed) - OMG! I know! A stupid head cold can make you feel like such sh*t for such a long time! Take lots of meds and feel better!

AFM -

D got his vacation days approved! We are one step closer to our cruise-getaway! Now, we have to buy tickets. We have 2 American bank accounts --- one has money in it, but the credit card is expired... the other has no money, but a current card. Since we are buying online in dollars, we need an American credit card... so we have to transfer money from one account to the other (and re-new our cards while we're on the phone with them!). So no tickets bought yet, but I'm thinking about buying a travel book already! Anyone suggestions? I usually like the DK Eyewitness ones --

I'm also thinking about switching clinics. I'm totally happy with the doctors and nurses (and pregnancy results) from mine - but since we've started, I've moved jobs (and no longer drive to work), so the clinic is really out of the way. It's also gotten much more crowded, and the wait for SnS is getting ridiculous! (I arrive at 7, they open at 7:30 and I'm usually not out of there until around 8:30! Coming half an hour early still makes me 10th or so in line!) There are 2 hospitals more conviniently located (one nearer home, one nearer work) so I'm considering switching. I'm asking around for advice on those clinics.

I'm trying to weight the pros and cons of switching.

I've gotten great results at my clinic -- but then again, I don't have any "special" protocols -- I'm a great responder and I should get great results everywhere.

There is an advantage to continuing with the same people who know me -- the nurses even recognize my number on Caller ID and answer "hi Leora" -- but staying in the same place means having to constantly return to a place that is so emotionally charged. A new clinic would mean people who don't know me, but also no reminders of the good and bad news we've gotten in the same place.

Commute-wise, switching would be awesome.

I'm more curious about the 'day to day' systems at the other clinics (ie, what's the wait like for SnS? What times do they answer the phone? What are the ER/ET like in terms of wait times, waiting rooms, etc?) than the 'medical savvy' of the doctors. I figure that would all be the same anywhere.

Something to consider.

Also -- today is my last Provera dose! Now we wait a few days (which are agonizing for me, not sure why) and see what happens.

Hopefully I'll know more about what's going on with this pregnancy-that-doesn't-end by next week.....

Kala-please dint give up. Even though I got a line so early that doesn't mean that everyone gets a line that early. Remember the story I told you about the pregnancy with my soon to be 13 year old. I didn't get a positive HPT until about a week after the positive Beta. Gosh, I think I must have been almost 5 weeks pregnant if not a little more. My hcg levels were obviously quite low but here he is and he is the light of my life. So, please keep your head up. I will be praying for you. Please stay positive.

Ok, so I ran out of the more expensive HPT. I have quite a few of the dollar store brand ones. I think they are called New Choice HPT's. And I have one of the Clear Blur digital. Yesterday, I tested with the dollar store HPt and saw NO line at all. Arggggg. I didn't freak out but found myself to be a bit down. Think I was convinced last night that this one had gone bad early. But this morning I tested again with the dolls store HPt and got a pretty good line. I also tested with the digital and got a pregnant. So I guess I'll just keep using the dollar store brand HPt to test daily to see if the line gets darker until Beya. I am still very leery a's I know too well that a positive HPT or a positive Beta really doesn't mean a whole lot to me. For the POAS addicts, below are the dollar store brand HPT's from yesterday and today to compare.

Christy- Do you have to be approved financially? Like loan or is everyone approved? I know you have to be approved into the program itself. If that makes sense!

We: That's the same brand that I used and I checked pics of mine and found that your line at 11dpo is very comparable to my line at 11dpo. By any chance did you get the negative with a non-morning urine? After getting a positive on morning urine, I tested once in the evening and got a negative only to get another positive the next morning. After that, I never tested with anything but morning urine because seeing the negative really freaked me out.

Below is my stick set for comparison (photographed after drying). My beta was decent and from what I'm seeing, I bet that yours will be too.

HappyBunny-I think your right. I think the negative yesterday was in the evening time. The positivethis morning was with the first morning urine. I have 8 of the testa left soni will keep testing with them every morning until Beta day. I love the easy you putthem all side by side. You van really tell the difference that way. How are you feeling?

We: Yeah, don't use anything but morning urine... It will just mess with your head.

I feel good - sometimes, so good that I wonder if I'm actually pregnant or just getting fat, lazy and bitchy, lol. There's a bit of exhaustion going on but that can happen just from having a six month old who's crawling and going through the separation anxiety phase.

Maria- Thank you for asking. The Attain program looks nice but we tried to get a loan through the ones they mention so we'll skip that for now. Well keep saving for that in case our first try doesn't work! We are looking somewhere between $5-7,000 including medication/injections. Not bad, but still a lot for one try. Depending where we are at in the process, you can get refunds. It's just so hard spending SO MUCH and it not work! Terrifying!
