Maria - that is NOT a faint line for 5dp5dt! That is fantastic! When is your blood test? Not that it really matters, you are definitely pregnant!
Lydia - try not to stress about the numbers and especially about symptoms or lackthereof. I suffer from horrific nausea and vomiting - and that doesn't start until almost 6 weeks. Try to relax. At 6w3d, I've always seen a heartbeat -- good luck! Only a week left to wait!
kerpupples - wow. 78% chance of delivery? That's insane! How can they have such great odds? As far as I understand, even if someone is pregnant, there is a 20% chance of miscarriage -- so I'm confused by your statistics. In any case - good luck at transfer today! (since you did genetic testing -- will they tell you if the embryos are boys or girls or both?)
Christy - so annoying when you can't reach people by phone! I hope you don't have to wait for summer if you don't have to! I hope you get lots of answers when you get through to them!
Laura &
Bonnie - of course, the dream for infertile couples is to end a pregnancy with 2 healthy babies --- but carrying twins is a huge risk, both for mom and babies. The ideal IVF outcome is a singleton pregnancy - so congrats to both of you for achieving that!
Patricia - ugh. I hate paying for car repairs. Luckily, we have a relatively new car so not many repairs, but we had a fender bender (my fault

) last year that ended up costing a fortune. I saw on People.com that Sinead O'Connor 'reunited' with him -- so funny to see it on there and on here!
Margi- you are always welcome here! I expect you to stalk me until I have my baby, at least!
Nicole (blue eyed) - OMG! I know! A stupid head cold can make you feel like such sh*t for such a long time! Take lots of meds and feel better!

D got his vacation days approved! We are one step closer to our cruise-getaway! Now, we have to buy tickets. We have 2 American bank accounts --- one has money in it, but the credit card is expired... the other has no money, but a current card. Since we are buying online in dollars, we need an American credit card... so we have to transfer money from one account to the other (and re-new our cards while we're on the phone with them!). So no tickets bought yet, but I'm thinking about buying a travel book already! Anyone suggestions? I usually like the DK Eyewitness ones --
I'm also thinking about switching clinics. I'm totally happy with the doctors and nurses (and pregnancy results) from mine - but since we've started, I've moved jobs (and no longer drive to work), so the clinic is really out of the way. It's also gotten much more crowded, and the wait for SnS is getting ridiculous! (I arrive at 7, they open at 7:30 and I'm usually not out of there until around 8:30! Coming half an hour early still makes me 10th or so in line!) There are 2 hospitals more conviniently located (one nearer home, one nearer work) so I'm considering switching. I'm asking around for advice on those clinics.
I'm trying to weight the pros and cons of switching.
I've gotten great results at my clinic -- but then again, I don't have any "special" protocols -- I'm a great responder and I should get great results everywhere.
There is an advantage to continuing with the same people who know me -- the nurses even recognize my number on Caller ID and answer "hi Leora" -- but staying in the same place means having to constantly return to a place that is so emotionally charged. A new clinic would mean people who don't know me, but also no reminders of the good and bad news we've gotten in the same place.
Commute-wise, switching would be awesome.
I'm more curious about the 'day to day' systems at the other clinics (ie, what's the wait like for SnS? What times do they answer the phone? What are the ER/ET like in terms of wait times, waiting rooms, etc?) than the 'medical savvy' of the doctors. I figure that would all be the same anywhere.
Something to consider.
Also -- today is my last Provera dose! Now we wait a few days (which are agonizing for me, not sure why) and see what happens.
Hopefully I'll know more about what's going on with this pregnancy-that-doesn't-end by next week.....
