Kynlee- I know it's scary but also remember that the estrogen count increases for every follicle, if you keep drinking the gateraid and snacking on salty foods the odds of ohss happening will decrease in your favor. Keep praying with me and we'll get through this together, how many days until Embryo retrieval do you think? I know it probably all depends on how your appt goes on Saturday.. Could they possibly schedule everything on Monday? I just hope everything continues to grow at the same rate, giving you several lead follicles. Keep us posted girl.
Gina- Seriously vent all you want, I know the feeling of being the last to know and my family all live here.

I hope you get the retirement letter soon, it's good that it's coming from DC and hopefully that will help cut to the chase. Speaking about gardening...Today I went to Lowe's and bought sweet corn and tomato seeds...While at Lowe's I texted Belle's mom to let her know I got the paint swatches for her daughter's room. I also went downtown and lost complete track of time in my favorite antique store. Spend hours in there and even found more pieces that matches Annebelle's teacup collection I started on her 10th birthday. Brought home two teacups in mauve pink/white stamped on the bottom "Woods" collection and I found a matching kettle for only $5.00! I was so thrilled even though the handle had been broken and pieced back together I knew with a little touching up it would be our favorite piece. I sat at the bar with dh tonight as we sipped on some hot Peach tea together and I couldn't stop admiring the detail enscribed- so beautiful. Speaking of solid wood furniture, when you get back to Georgia look up a place called Dogtown, located in AL but they sell wood furniture for reasonable prices- (ahem you may need something for the nursery.) Anyway, glad the tax refund is helping out. We haven't gotten ours back yet and we filed on Feb. 4th, starting to get a little concerned since we used Turbotax this year and not sure why it's taken so long?
Blue,
Gifts for the first anniversary: I say plan a romantic weekend trip somewhere...Have some fun in the planning..
Am I thinking right with the new dress you are thinking about a new dinner somewhere? I know with whatever you plan that spot will be special and sentimental. One year dh cooked me dinner: we had a toss salad with chocolate chip cookies. lol he knows those are two of my favorite things so I was surprised indeed. One another anniversary we went to Ol' Charlies and shopping but among all he did one of my favorite things was gave me a $10 gift card to McDonalds and he wrote on the card, "can you supersize it, it my's anniversary." lol a commercial we heard somewhere...With that in mind I have flashbacks of Carrie in "Sex in the City." Do you remember the episode where the Russian surprises Carrie with a hot pink dress and a date to see the Mets, everything is so fancy but then Carrie feels overwhelmed and faints in the street. They decide to slow things down a bit at McDonald's – and end up dancing at the cash register.I know it sounds cheesy but I love simple romantic spontaneous moments like that. Life is all about making some wonderful memories together.
Okay so I have collaborated alot of other anniversary ideas..Imagine this!
Door number 1: A bed and breakfast with rose petals sprinkled all over the bed, a fruit tray waiting by the nightstand.
Door number 2: A challet in the mountains with a nice fireplace and a relaxing jacuzzi.
Door number 3: An outting adventure, travel to Fl for a weekend package with a candlelight picnic on the beach.
Door number 4: Recreate your first date ever with dh.
Door number 5: Plan out a scavenger hunt for dh to follow.
(Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of a scavenger hunt but here are a few tips to get you going.)
#1 If you choose locations that are connected to your history as a couple, it will make writing the clues easier.
#2 Out of those locations, think about where you could safely leave a small gift or token of love. OR just leave clues. No need to leave gifts unless you want to.
#3 Let the locations dictate the order in which he’ll find the clues.
*DON’T Zig zag him all over town. That’ll just make ‘em mad.
*DON’T Worry about making the clues rhyme. Unless you are a lyricist, it’ll just make you wanna give up.
*DO Go along with him. The gift is the scavenger hunt and the time spent together as a couple!
Maybe the last clue will lead you to a restaurant where you had your first date. Maybe you’ll end up where you first met.
Or....maybe you'll end up in the middle of a meadow of flowers in Seattle.
As for gifts, keep them at a price limit. If you want to make it creative around the house..use strings all over the house leading to clues, more clues and then a finale present or something. That gift could be a pocketknife or new watch anything he collects that he can hold onto for many years to come.
