Hi everyone! :D

...good news on the board today!!

Akelp
Woohoo!!! Congratulations!!!! Wonderful news honey!!! I am SO happy for you! This is IT! You are going to have a success story to share now! I just know it!

Christy & aAkelp
hey girls! your gardens sound amazing! I am a garden “freak” my self put its been raining a lot around here lately and there is no way to go out and plant a seed! Actually, I am 37 and this is the first year in my life that it rained so much!! On Monday, until noon the sun was up and so I took the opportunity to cut the lawn, trim the paradise birds and fence and clean the white stones under the trees from unwanted leaves and stuff…that was my garden’s window of opportunity to be clean and ready for spring….planting needs to wait a bit longer!...DH came home from work that day and saw everything clean and tide in our garden and treated me with a foot massage for doing all that hard work… :D

Blueeye
Even though the colour pink is not on my fav colors list, I love the below knee length dresses and skirts and I am sure you are going to look stunning! What are your plans for that day?…I am keeping my fingers crossed for you too for some good news!! It will be the best anniversary present ever!

Kynlee-
Hi there! How nice to see you here getting ready becoming a mommy! :D Woohoo! Keep those follies growing! Your bfp is just around the corner honey!

Lyd
I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun with that Doppler mama! :D …now, don’t you get disappointed if you don’t hear anything on Friday, it might be early due to that tilted uterus situation. Better ask your RE to know what to expect…still, when you start hearing the sweet music of those heartbeats it will be worht the waiting!

Maria
Your LO’s are beautiful!!! That’s my kind of pictures I LOVE to see! ...I can’t wait to post mine on the fridge door! :D ….Feeling better with the nausea? Hang in there! You are carrying a precious cargo so you better take good care of your self!

Ninde
I hope your trip goes well and we hear your news soon :)

Leora
If you are reading this….I waived back! Did you see me! I was waiving at the sky like a mad woman all afternoon!!!! … I am sure you are having a great time with David! Cherish every minute honey! And post some pictures when you get back!

Fruit
Hey girl! Waz up? :D

AFM
Been pretty busy with stuff these days…no news on the job yet! I waiting from 8 jobs to call in for an interview! ...its been a month or so  ....remember that job I was telling you about that I was called in for a 2nd interview? Well, they still haven't heard back from them! Can you believe this! I know from an inside source that they haven’t hired anyone yet but still! They haven’t decide who they going to hire! WTF! ...

I was surfng the web yesrerday and pump into this other job at a University for the position of Admissions Officer and so I went today and gave personally my cv and cover letter. The deadline for applications is March 2nd and they told me that they need to fill the position by the end of this month (March) More sit and wait now….the job sounds amazing and I know people there since this was the place were I got my BA in Marketing. There’s a bit of traveling involved over Europe mostly a few times a year, once a year a trip to China and once a year a trip to India, to attend educational fairs but nothing I won’t be able to manage. They give a year and then make someone permanent and only after one year of employment you get 13th salary, COLA, provident fund and medical fund. Plus, bonus and extra money when travelling - over and above the accommodation and travel expenses and allowance they provide-. The more travelling the told me, the more money you get. Thing is, I don’t know how much is the basic salary! I will find out at the interview. Oh! And another thing, you get 2 weeks off during Xmas holidays and 2 weeks off during Easter holidays….paid of course… The University is closed so these holidays are a must to take…not that I would complain about it  …. Plus, you get 3 weeks holidays (annual leave) every year. The busy period for this job is during the summer months, that is May to August but they told me that colleagues arrange between them whose going to take a week off during that time and as long as the department has staff working everyone takes leave during those months regardless. Everything sounds very promising, now what’s left is to find out about the basic salary and of course to get hired! Cross your fingers for me ladies! Another plus is that the University is 15min drive from my house! :D and 10min to DH University :D

So, I went to my friends kids store grand opening for half an hr or so with my best friend and another friend. It was OK. My friend that has the shop appreciated it and it felt good that at least I showed up for a while. When we left we went to grab a bite for dinner to an Italian restaurant and then came home. It was a good night. Yesterday afternoon, a girl, one of the carehome resident’s had her 27th birthday and so we went with DH to attend to a little party that I put together with the carehome staff. The girl was so happy and excited; she was literally shaking from joy! her eyes where glowing! Now moments like this, makes all the worries in the world disappear!...at least for last night… It felt so good being there and being part of that girl’s happy moment. :D Of course everybody at the carehome was happy too and we all sang happy birthday, cut the cake pop up some pop corn had some jello, and muffins and then we turned on the music and danced with them…the "guys" had a blast! we left with a smile of content on our faces and in our hearts and they where left back with that same smile :D

Tonight we are having a quiet night with DH. He is off University at 9pm and so dinner will be waiting on the table and then watch Sunday’s episode of “The Good wife” and Monday’s episode of HOUSE MD….which reminds me, I have to download them asap!

Tomorrow night, we are going out with my MIL and SIL to a nice little restaurant /lounge bar which on Friday’s there’s a live band that plays songs from the 40’s, 60’s, 70’s. We have seen them a few times and they are very good!

Akdelp-congratulations!!! I an so happy for you. This is going to be the one.

Blue-I'm keeping you in my prayers. I really hope your Beta continues to double and that this is just a case of a late implanters.

I'm sorry for no more personals for now, I'm at work. Still not feeling well. Sinus infection is still there and I'm still on antibiotics. Still bleeding even though the hematoma is apparently gone. So I don't know at thus point where the bleeding is coming from. I can't possibly go in to my OB everyday because of the bleeding and the babies were doing great earlier thus week, so I have to trust in God that everything is still ok. My next u/s is the 12 week u/s and that will be on March 6th. I will try to do some more personals later but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers always.

Love,

Congrats! That's great news!

Anton- I can't believe you are still waiting on the job news. The University job sounds really nice. Maybe it's the one that's been waiting for you.

All this garden talk is making my mouth water. Must go to Central Market for good organic veggies today.

I have no idea what we are doing for our anniversary yet. I told dh that it had better be nice because I got a dress

Any suggestions for a gift for him for the anniversary? I have no idea what to get. Men are so hard to shop for especially for something meaningful. Ugh.

Adkelp- CONGRATS!!! That's a lovely number too! Can't wait to hear the next ones!

Anton- wow, can't believe you still haven't heard from them! The job at the University sounds great and the location! Also a wonderful travel opportunity! I hope you get it if that's what you want!

Leora- I hope you and David are enjoying yourselves and relaxing! Can't wait to see pictures!!

Blue- Your dress sounds lovely! I know you will both enjoy it your time together and it will be extra special! :)

Christy and Akdelp- I can just picture both of your gardens! Can't wait until I have a nice yard again to grow lots of things!

AFM- Our breaks on our truck were horrible! So we ordered them and they got here today thankfully. So we got that all done and didn't need a rental anymore, yay! I also ran into a friend from last time when we lived here. We were planning to meet up soon but didn't think it would be at the Auto place! lol. It was nice though.

The military are letting go of A LOT of Soldiers and with those changes DH would be forced to retire so we should get approved. However if they don't he will just resubmit right away and try again. Because of these changes he had to redo the paperwork with this new date! UGh. So Monday they will go out now. Grrrrrrrrr. Oh well. Only good thing is they will be sent RIGHT to DC instead of Kentucky then there. So it shouldn't take long at all.

Still saving for IVF........getting there and taxes helped a lot! I've been finding things to sell we no longer need/want. Sold DS's bed but we are getting him a new one from Belgium. So had to use most of that money again, but still had some extra from him. I sold our extra tv we never use. We'll keep the other two. Today I sold two of our old Ipods since we had other ones. We will get there!!

Kynlee- Thanks :) We hope to get one try in this year before we move from Germany, but if not we'll be ready for the beginning on 2013! I have something I could sell and have the money soon as it sells but I love it SO much I don't want to part with it. It's a German Shrunk(Schrank in German) and it's awesome and really nice still even though we bought it back in 2004 last time we lived here. So I think I'll hang on to that. Hard to find nice solid would these days in furniture.

I really hope you get your BFP!! :)

Well I guess my Niece got married today.....I always find out things online. I talked to my Mom yesterday, afternoon for her and she didn't mention it, so it is POSSIBLE my Niece and her fiance' just went and said we want to do this now. They had been wanting to a while now and was just going to the Justice of Peace to save money. Just really sucks finding out after the fact. I'm sure my Mom will call tomorrow soon as she gets up. I really hope my Niece didn't go and do this without my parents, esp my Mom. Can't believe she still hasn't talked to me. So I guess when we move, she'll be married and have a baby.

Sorry for the vent. Can't post it on fb because her Dad is my friend on there so I hoped you ladies wouldn't mind :)

Does anyone know how fast your E levels should go up daily? I have had OHSS my last 2 cycles the 2nd cycle much less then the 1st cause we lowered my doses, and now this is the 3rd round of ivf after taking about a year off from IVF and going to IUI. On Day 3 I was at 68 and now I am day 5 on Gonal f and I am upto 382 getting nervous that i may get OHSS again... I guess as long as it isnt as bad as the first time I can handle it...

Kynlee- I know it's scary but also remember that the estrogen count increases for every follicle, if you keep drinking the gateraid and snacking on salty foods the odds of ohss happening will decrease in your favor. Keep praying with me and we'll get through this together, how many days until Embryo retrieval do you think? I know it probably all depends on how your appt goes on Saturday.. Could they possibly schedule everything on Monday? I just hope everything continues to grow at the same rate, giving you several lead follicles. Keep us posted girl.

Gina- Seriously vent all you want, I know the feeling of being the last to know and my family all live here. I hope you get the retirement letter soon, it's good that it's coming from DC and hopefully that will help cut to the chase. Speaking about gardening...Today I went to Lowe's and bought sweet corn and tomato seeds...While at Lowe's I texted Belle's mom to let her know I got the paint swatches for her daughter's room. I also went downtown and lost complete track of time in my favorite antique store. Spend hours in there and even found more pieces that matches Annebelle's teacup collection I started on her 10th birthday. Brought home two teacups in mauve pink/white stamped on the bottom "Woods" collection and I found a matching kettle for only $5.00! I was so thrilled even though the handle had been broken and pieced back together I knew with a little touching up it would be our favorite piece. I sat at the bar with dh tonight as we sipped on some hot Peach tea together and I couldn't stop admiring the detail enscribed- so beautiful. Speaking of solid wood furniture, when you get back to Georgia look up a place called Dogtown, located in AL but they sell wood furniture for reasonable prices- (ahem you may need something for the nursery.) Anyway, glad the tax refund is helping out. We haven't gotten ours back yet and we filed on Feb. 4th, starting to get a little concerned since we used Turbotax this year and not sure why it's taken so long?

Blue,
Gifts for the first anniversary: I say plan a romantic weekend trip somewhere...Have some fun in the planning..
Am I thinking right with the new dress you are thinking about a new dinner somewhere? I know with whatever you plan that spot will be special and sentimental. One year dh cooked me dinner: we had a toss salad with chocolate chip cookies. lol he knows those are two of my favorite things so I was surprised indeed. One another anniversary we went to Ol' Charlies and shopping but among all he did one of my favorite things was gave me a $10 gift card to McDonalds and he wrote on the card, "can you supersize it, it my's anniversary." lol a commercial we heard somewhere...With that in mind I have flashbacks of Carrie in "Sex in the City." Do you remember the episode where the Russian surprises Carrie with a hot pink dress and a date to see the Mets, everything is so fancy but then Carrie feels overwhelmed and faints in the street. They decide to slow things down a bit at McDonald's – and end up dancing at the cash register.I know it sounds cheesy but I love simple romantic spontaneous moments like that. Life is all about making some wonderful memories together.

Okay so I have collaborated alot of other anniversary ideas..Imagine this!
Door number 1: A bed and breakfast with rose petals sprinkled all over the bed, a fruit tray waiting by the nightstand.
Door number 2: A challet in the mountains with a nice fireplace and a relaxing jacuzzi.
Door number 3: An outting adventure, travel to Fl for a weekend package with a candlelight picnic on the beach.
Door number 4: Recreate your first date ever with dh.
Door number 5: Plan out a scavenger hunt for dh to follow.

(Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of a scavenger hunt but here are a few tips to get you going.)
#1 If you choose locations that are connected to your history as a couple, it will make writing the clues easier.

#2 Out of those locations, think about where you could safely leave a small gift or token of love. OR just leave clues. No need to leave gifts unless you want to.

#3 Let the locations dictate the order in which he’ll find the clues.

*DON’T Zig zag him all over town. That’ll just make ‘em mad.
*DON’T Worry about making the clues rhyme. Unless you are a lyricist, it’ll just make you wanna give up.
*DO Go along with him. The gift is the scavenger hunt and the time spent together as a couple!

Maybe the last clue will lead you to a restaurant where you had your first date. Maybe you’ll end up where you first met.
Or....maybe you'll end up in the middle of a meadow of flowers in Seattle.

As for gifts, keep them at a price limit. If you want to make it creative around the house..use strings all over the house leading to clues, more clues and then a finale present or something. That gift could be a pocketknife or new watch anything he collects that he can hold onto for many years to come.

Christy- What great ideas! You should write a book. You are very creative and very much a romantic.

I wil keep thinking and will let you know what we do. For now, I'm dealing with a stuffy nose and scratchy throat. Yeah.

Kynlee- Thanks! Yeah all I do is look for something to sale! We have so much we really never use or even see. If we get to move when planned we'll have a lot of 220 stuff for sale, fans, heaters, kitchen stuff, converters. Even though I plan to start IVF before that, it will give us some extra to add to our moving in a house savings. :) I'm sorry to hear about your losses. We had a few last year. I hope March is a great month for you AND the rest of the year! All of my family live in Georgia for the most part. Can't wait to get back to the states!!

Christy- Thank you. Yeah it's amazing how no one tells me things. My mom will call me soon and ask if I've heard...then I'll say yep I saw it on her facebook page since she doesn't talk to me. She thinks my Niece isn't talking to me because I give her advice she doesn't like. It isn't that though! She took up for a cousin that treats her like crap for something she took at my Grandmothers. Ugh can't wait until I am back and set some things straight!

I love finds like that....something that has meaning behind and those that just "speaks to you"...those we will treasure forever!! I will have to look that place up!! Sounds like a place we'd love to shop at! Thanks!

Blue- Hope you get to feeling better. Once a year I end up with a strep throat. Some cough drops and honey/lemon always help and it goes away pretty quick.

Nicole- I just went back and read what I wrote last night and laughed at "new dinner" obviously I get so caught up in details...lol only would write a book if I could find someone to proof-read! Awww I hope you aren't coming down with a cold, you may need some good chicken soup. Be sure to rinse with warm salty water at night and get plenty of rest. :D

Gina- I'm listing my cabinet that takes up a whole room on Craigslist, but it's very pretty with 3 glass shelves and has a built-in light, actually would look great in a salon. I need to go through and get rid of more junk we don't need. Isn't it crazy how you move half of the stuff either doesn't go/ fit in your new house? I miss my big basement, so common in Ga homes.

AFM: Work and then coming home to work on some pillows/accessories for AnnaBelle's room. I picked up paint swatches yesterday while at Lowe's, and her mom ordered the comforter...much cheaper then making one! :D I'm loving the Paris theme style and know Belles will too. :D

**CRASHING**

Akdelp:
Congratulations!!! So happy for you!!

Anton: That admissions job sounds wonderful, provided the salary is as good as the benefits. And I love dropping in to hear about your wonderful times with friends and family, and DH especially. You are such a warm and giving person. What a fabulous momma you will be!!! Baby dust to you my friend. :D

Christy: You are such a wonderful romantic! I will keep on stalking you my friend!

Kynlee: I don’t know what dose you are on, but I believe that E2 levels about double every 48 hours...I know they can increase quite rapidly. It is important for your RE to decrease or coast your dose if you get to high. But, sounds to me like you are on track! I had a very scary (hospitalization for weeks) bout of OHSS so I am always cautious in my advice to others about it. My last cycle--that gave me my twins!--I kept very careful records. On Day 5 of stims (gonalF 225 + 75 Menopur) my E2 was at 553, so he dropped my GonalF to 150. My E2 kept rising and so he kept dropping my doses and coasted me. On day 10 of stims I was only taking 37.5 Gonal-F, the lowest you can take, with E2 level up to 4798. It worked great for me! How many follies do you have growing at this point? I think that matters as well. I had 18 on Day 5, about 11mm each. So, all that to say that I think you are on track! Feel free to PM me if you wish. Best of luck!! Oh, and will your RE give you the med to help prevent OHSS? I can't think of what it is right now, but I took it starting at ER. That last cycle, I had some bloating and huge ovaries, but no scary OHSS.

EVERYONE ELSE: Baby Dust to you all!! You are all wonderful and strong and I hope that this is your year to take home your babies!!!
