Hi ladies I guess we (Paul and I) belong here with you lovely ladies so I hope you don't mind 1 more member to your group.
We are doing great. Paul is 8 months old now and a little over 20lb. He is very tall for his age at 29inches and is absolutely the love of my life. I literally constantly thank God for this little miracle. He is now a proud owner of 2 teeth

and has become so quick and efficient in his little walker that sometimes its a challenge catching up to him. He is extremely active and I am saddened to say we STILL eat at least once through the night. I have tried giving him a pacifier or even a little water but it seems if I don't give him food around 3 to 4 am he wakes completely and then does not want to go back to sleep and since we cherish our sleep these days we have resolved to just giving him his 6oz of formula in his sleep. On the positive note we are now saying dada, do-gi (we have 2 dogs) baba (for mama) and even learned to kiss and clap. As of 3 weeks ago I have stopped breastfeeding (it was very emotional for me but we wanted to try for another baby) so we weaned. I told myself that I managed to bf for almost 8 months and that it was already an accomplishment but I was still very weepy. So anyways Paul's nap is over and I better run but first a quick few personals
Ryan your babies are beautiful...you have a beautiful family
Dallastwins I also felt guilty for stopping the breastfeeding so I think no matter when you stop you always feel a little sad and guilty however you have to do what is best for you and pumping can be very stressful however on the other hand if you are able to give your little ones a few oz of BM a day for a while longer I am sure its also helpful. I think the biggest thing I have encountered is that people feel like if they can't fully breastfeed then they should just quit but I would suggest if you are only finding a couple of times a day to pump then just give your LO what you have since a little is better than none. In the end if you choose to stop I am sure it is the right decision for you and you have to do what you have to do.
Mellow how is Marlo? we need a new pic
sorry gotta run but will write more later
