Kynlee - that's a doubling rate of 39.62 hours (if you went for your beta roughly the same time today as you did on Friday.) They just want to see it double within 48-72 hours and you're doubling faster than that. In other words, that's a great 2nd beta! :D

Sunshine 1576 - I know how that goes with insensitive co-workers. Believe me, been there and done that. It's tough to separate your point of view when you are really hurt and suffering because of something in your personal life, and realize that the people you interact with at work who don't care, aren't worth caring about. Life can seem spectacularly unfair, most especially when we don't know what the other person has been through as is the case generally with co-workers. I had a co-worker laughingly tell me how angry her husband was when she told him she was accidentally pregnant with their first child as a response to my telling her I had just found out I could only conceive through IVF. It took me many years to get pregnant, and when I did I had a childless co-worker in her late 40's literally put me through hell when I went back to work because of it. It's so, so hard take comfort in being the "better person" when it comes to a subject that just rips your heart apart to think about. It took a lot to try to understand where these women were coming from - make my own peace with that, and move on.

Just remember when people like that are being jerks that they don't get it and probably never will - but there are people here who do! Right down to the timing game. :) Hell, we did a cycle right after moving across the state for new jobs only to have my husband lose his and get a new one... on an island. So I was living with my in-laws and my husband was spending most of the week living on the island for his job! I would be shocked if somebody could tell me a "good time" to go through the hell of IVF. Keep your head up, you'll get there!!

Can you tell I was stalking all day to see your great news?? I'm so happy for you! Do you go for more betas or did they just schedule your u/s? I know clinics do things differently.

Klinger- Glad you were stalking me, you give me great hope and always reassure me so I am glad to see you were right behind me today after my post :) I go for my next Beta on the 23rd, and then I think the following week is U/S... I am kinda nervous about the U/S when I started reading other blogs women are saying they think the U/S is what made them miscarry since it was so early to get one, I guess I wont stop worrying till I get past the 12 weeks...

kynlee - I was so worried and nervous about my first u/s the nurse kept asking me if I was OK! I must have looked like I was about to pass out or something.

That reminds me - general question to everyone who has had a BFP - how many of you were just totally happy to get it, and how many of you were excited and yet worried all at the same time? I was just so afraid that after how long it took to get pregnant that something would still go wrong that I couldn't even really be happy. Wondering if anybody else was like that?

Kynlee- Goodness trust me I know the worrying never stops but prayer WILL continue to get you through so much. God's tiiming is perfect and good things are coming your way, so continue to take it one day at a time and you will go far! You must visualize good things from here on out so you will be able to enjoy everything. :D

Wondercat- Your story struck a cord, certainly one I can relate to, seriously coworkers can be heartless. No they don't get it, but I have decided not to let it get the best of me. It's our life and we should choose to live it, there is no such thing as "perfect timing" to have a family. So I'm on the fence still, dh called the college up in Huntsville, AL today and found out they HAVE NOT filled the position yet. In the meantime he's applying for a job up in Virginia, no family there but we hear Va is a beautiful state. :D
