Kynlee-wishing you all the best tomorrow. I know you are nervous, but everything is going to be great. You'll see.

Ninde-yay for AF. I did do a little dance for you so I would like to think that I contributed just a tiny bit :). You will do great with the Menspure. It really is quite simple. I know your going to do great.

Always-what wonderful news. That's a great 2nd Beta.

LauraN-those are some great numbers. You are so close now. How exciting!!!

Hopethisworks-congratulations on Team Blue. How exciting!!!

Madamex-I'm so happy for you. Please keep us posted.

Blue-great follie count. Keeping my fingers crossed that all continues to go well for you.

Tiger-please let us know how it goes with telling the family. I love the idea!!!

Anton-how is the new job?

Sunshine-how are you doing?

Leora-how was your birthday? So happy for you guys.

Sorry if I missed anyone. I had a really long day today. I left work early to see my OB today. Baby A is weighing 4 lbs/13 oz and Baby B is weighing 4 lbs/14 oz. Unfortunately my cervical length is now fluctuating between 1.2cm and 1.5cm. So my OB decided to send me to Labor & Delivery to get a shot of Betamethosone (steroid injection). I will get another one tomorrow. This will help boost the babies' lung development. With such a short cervical length I definately think that the girls will be here soon. Now that I have had the injection, I feel more comfortable if they come in the next few weeks. Well, going to try and go to sleep. Sending you all much love.

Maria- Not much longer until the girls will be arriving, I know you and dh must be getting so excited!
Ninde- Yay for AF always welcomed if it means cycling is right around the corner? :D
AlwaysAngel- Wonderful second beta!
MadameX- and that's one strong peanut!
LauraN- Yes this is really happening!!
HopeThisWorks- You're halfway there...may all the screening goes smoothly!
Leora- This better be your rainbow baby or I will personally fly over there and find one! Miracles do happen everyday!
Kynlee-G/L tomorrow I have everything crossed for you but this is all in God's hands, we must keep the faith.
...and more personals to come!

AFM: Several asked if I am ok which I appreciate the thoughts. It's tough watching everyone move forward, thinking maybe it's best if I take a break from the boards, but it's so hard to leave since I know what each one of you have been through. I know the heartache and suffering, I know the only way to get through this heartache is to start again instead of dwelling on the mishappenings, yet it's hard for me to start again. Dh and I have been playing limbo so long and it's scary when u have no idea where he will find work but now that they extended his contract for one last year we are saving everything we've got, I feel it's too stressful to cycle. Another part of me feels like what if nothing ever works and I'm forced to accept things the way they are. I'll be honest I've prayed for God to help me accept what's going on, it hasn't been easy. I'm handling it pretty well, it's the only way I know to get through this difficult time. Dh still tells me it's not over but sometimes I feel everything is on the back burner and I've tried being patient for so long. I've lost direction and I don't know what the future holds but dh still tells me it's not over. We must keep the faith because, one way or another our baby has to be coming home. xx Christy

Patricia - sorry for the confusion, the dosage pen was for Follistim. When I used Menopur I got something called a Q-cap that made the mixing much easier and ensured that I would never accidentally inject with the GIANT needle you normally mix with. You might want to ask about that but I think it actually comes boxed with the medication. And I produced a gazillion eggs on Menopur too.

Maria - glad they are on the ball with you and your cervix. A word of warning about the betamethasone - I got those shots with DD since I had a previa with her, and she was born at 36 weeks still having immature lungs. We are at high altitude, so I imagine that had an effect, but betamethasone isn't a guarantee of mature lungs at birth. Still, you are so far along that even if you get NICU time I'm sure it will be minimal with no long-term effects. DD spent 10 days in the NICU, but I think it would have been closer to 5 or 6 had they not tried to wean her off of oxygen too soon.

[quote="kynlee"]
Lauren- Just curious how the whole DE works, I see alot of women that are using DE and they know when she stims etc, I guess I just thought it was like DS and you pick out of a catalog and they are pre frozen. I used DS for this Cycle and I think that is why I am pregnant so glad my DH was ok with it :) Best of luck Aug 15th will be here before you know it :)quote]

So, for the DE cycle, the way it works for us, is that we got to go in and look through a book of ladies. It shows their pictures, a profile of what they want to be, what their education level is and their family history. A lot of them attach pictures of their kids too, if they have any. So, we narrowed it down to a few that had blonde hair and blue eyes like me, then from there, I asked the nurse about their past donations. Any that hadn't donated before, we eliminated, and then of those that had donated, I weeded it down to those that had the highest number of eggs as well as the ones that their people got prego from the donation. So then, we had it down to 2 donors. From there, I found out how much med they usually take, and picked one.....well, when they called her, found out she had just gotten prego herself! So, that left the other donor. So, she goes through the same thing that we have gone through in our fresh cycles, up to the egg retrieval, then she's done. I go through like I'm doing a FET (I guess, I haven't done one of those, but I had to do 14 days of Lupron to keep me from ovulating, and then I'm doing estrogen patches right now and then the day of her egg retrieval, I will start the progesterone shots and supositories). My nurse knows that I am so crazy that I need to know what is happening every minute of every day. If I could, I would go live with the donor....hehehehehe. So, my nurse is great and I told her she didn't have to call me with all of the updates, she could just email me. She will probably do a combination of calling me and emailing me sometimes. So, after our donor's appts to see how big her follies are after she starts her stimms, my nurse will let me know how many follies are playing ball and their sizes. She will also keep me posted on when they think they will trigger, etc. So then, on the day of the egg retrieval, my husband will take his sample into the clinic and be done. They will let us know right after the retrieval how many eggs were retrieved and then the next day on how many fertilized. It is just like our regular cycles, they are just telling me about it instead of us being there to experience it.

wehavehope- I cant even figure out how to put a ticker up nevermind a picture lol I will try tonight and see if I can figure it out :)

Lauren- Thanks for sharing your DE story, Its so amazing how there are people out there that do this kind of stuff :) We also picked our DS from a website, I went with traits to match my DH and then went from there, I had to buy his baby picture if I want a adult picture I could buy that too but havent as of yet... Not sure if I want to know cause then I will be seeing people that look like him all over lol... He was a new Donor and there was a waiting list and had to wait for 6mths to make sure all his BW came back good... And now here I am almost 7 weeks it was the best thing me and my DH could of done :)
