Nicole - going up is a good sign - I hope everything is okay. (Just a warning though - low and slow rising betas are an indication of an ectopic pregnancy - so make sure your clinic is watching out for that.) Remember that my betas were super low with this pregnancy - and I had awful bleeding - and so far, everything looks great!
Kay - PTL is a big big big big fear for me. I'm doing a cerclage (on Sept 16th!) and the P17 injections. Probably some form of bed rest too. I'm really worried about the next 10 weeks or so. I won't be able to breath until 30 weeks or so.
Lori - good luck at your u/s! I'll be stalking for an update!
Jayne - CONGRATS on being PUPO! I didn't have any to freeze this time, and we transferred at day 4 instead of 5 because the embryo didn't look good - and it worked! I've had cramping on and off through this process - I think it could mean anything. Try to ignore it! Also - Chris (to have fun) did the HCG wash before transfer and had lots of interesting info on it. She is 9 weeks pregnant now!
Patricia - Yes, Paracetamol is safe during 2ww/pregnancy. Ibuprofen/Napraxen Sodium/Optalgin are NOT. So just Tylenol. I hope it helped. A friend of mine SWEARS you can cure a headache by standing on your head -- worth a try, no?
Madame X - after 10 weeks, the baby is fully developed, and just growing and growing - the odds of loss are super low at this point - congrats!
Christy -stay safe in that hurricane, okay? It seems sooooo far away! There hasn't been a single drop of rain here since March

Congrats on your anniversary - we have our 7th coming up in a few weeks. Any advice on a nice thing to do?
AFM - doing great - I'm stalking here for updates on everyone!
I had an OB appt yesterday - we scheduled my cerclage for Sept 16th. I'm so nervous about the surgery, but I know it'll be best for me in the long run.
I had my blood drawn for my first trimester screening this morning. The damn woman had such a hard time getting a vein (poking both arms multiple times) - it hurt so much that without warning, I threw up all over her feet. Uh oh!
