WeHaveHope – Thanks for checking on us! I am feeling better now. I had a nice weekend and I am looking forward to cycle again. Congrats again on the girls, they are beautiful!!

Madame X – Congrats on the OB appointment! I think I need a spa weekend too, that sounds very relaxing!

Jayne321 – It’s great that you had one embie to freeze! I hope the insomnia gives you a break so you can sleep better and rest as much as you can. Congrats PUPO!

Kay – I hope you are feeling better, although its exciting to have this “pregnancy sickness” ☺

Christy – Congrats on the 13th anniversary!!

Kynlee – Hope you are feeling better from the migraines. So happy your OB appointment went well!

Ninde – I was told paracetamol is ok during the 2ww! Hope you feel better. I am thinking of cycling again on October or November 2012.

Nicole – I am praying for your third beta – I am happy you have a busy day, waiting is not fun.

Anton – Congrats, congrats! So happy you are happy with your job, you’re getting married, and cycling again! So many good things at once huh? I think we will probably be cycling together, I am thinking of Oct or Nov for my next cycle ☺

AFM – Both our counsyl tests came back normal. My karyotype test was also normal, but my husband’s is still pending! I wonder if there is something wrong! We went to the lab together, and his test is still pending…

Great news, my husbands insurance will cover the next IVF!! So happy! They did pay for my co-pays so hopefully we have enough for 1 or 2 more cycles. I have an appointment with the RE on Sept 11 to go over the results, hopefully by then we’ll have my husband’s karyotype’s results.

Ninde- it looks like that med you asked about is ok. We call it acetaminophen in the states. Call your doc if you want approval. Mine allows that and Vicodin. I don't want you to be tortured with headaches.

Beta results are in. It went up to 263. I will have to go for another beta on Wednesday. They are still being cautious. She said that it is about a 70% rise so they are happy with it for now.

Madame- Awesome news on your OB today, Isnt it such a relieve after you see your OB... I feel so much better this week since I seen him :) Are you still on all your meds? My Ob is keeping me on them for 12weeks and then wants me to stop cold turkey very nervous about it...

Pocos- Glad you got good results back from the test, maybe DHs got lost in the shuffle... Glad his coverage covers your next treatment :)

Blue- I think that is a great rise in Beta :)

Christy: I know what you mean about keeping the board going, it looked like for a time earlier in the summer people would be all gone!

Kynlee: Oh thats bad about the migraines - can you take anything? I'm sorry to hear about your Mum too x

Jayne: I gave the clinic a call - they said it was ok to take paracetemol (probably the equivalent of your Tylenol). I said I would hang on another bit and the nurse said not to - there was no point in suffering. I held on another hour but then I had two clients sessions here at home and I knew it was too bad for me to concentrate on them if I didn't so I took some. Hasn't removed it all but its 90% better and I'll take that! I know what you mean about the 2ww being long. And our minds play absolute havoc with us! Are symptoms progesterone, af or implantation?!!! And its difficult not to scrutinse everything. I'm so glad you have an embryo to freeze :)

Madame x: Thanks for asking, the dizzyness is alot better. Your spa day sounds lovely!!!! Did your friends guess around the drinking?

Kay: Thanks the paracetemol has definately helped. I'm presuming its the progesterone but hoping for implantation which should have started today all being well :) I know people get really upset about Freud but personally I don't, he was a pioneer in his day, yes, he got stuff massively wrong but hindsight is wonderful! I'm not an analyst and have no desire to be (I like people too much!) but I do think he gets a rough deal. Jung I find fascinating. Thats wonderful about our corresponding dates :) I'm sorry about the sickness but cheering you on too :) I was reading what you were saying to Jayne about your stress levels around week 19 and I can't imagine what that might be like. Do you have any belief in relaxation cds or anything? Or accupuncture - something that might help even a little?

Pocos: Lovely to hear from you and I'm delighted your insurance will cover another cycle :)

Nicole: Thanks for that. Oh thank goodness you are in range in terms of doubling. How many days are you post transfer?

Afm: Paracetemol helped headache thankfully. I'm going to go to bed now and hopefully tomorrow will wake without headache. I'm really tired but I suppose I've done very little in the last week and today I had to do some work! Hope Issac isn't hitting anyone and I'll talk to you all tomorrow

Madame~congratulations on a great u/s. Are you going to find out what you're having?

Waitingkay~ I was checked for all of the clotting disorders and I did come up heterozygous (sp?) for the MTHFR so it is important for me to take the full dose of folic acid (4mg) to prevent a neural tube disorder. I took it but not religiously on the last two cycles so hopefully that will help as well. Also, I do take a baby aspirin daily. I know how those "doctors" are... I'm married to one. He always says... "often wrong; never in doubt". I say pain in the ass.

Pocos~ awesome news about the insurance. What a relief.

Nicole~ I think your beta sounds beautiful. And I would stick to your 90%~

Ninde~ oh yes, they say Tylenol is fine here too. Glad your headache is better.

AFM~ i need a little reassurance from anyone who has had cramps and ended up pregnant. I had bad cramps today (only 1dp5dt) so I'm hoping it's the little bean(s) just making themselves at home.

Nicole - going up is a good sign - I hope everything is okay. (Just a warning though - low and slow rising betas are an indication of an ectopic pregnancy - so make sure your clinic is watching out for that.) Remember that my betas were super low with this pregnancy - and I had awful bleeding - and so far, everything looks great!

Kay - PTL is a big big big big fear for me. I'm doing a cerclage (on Sept 16th!) and the P17 injections. Probably some form of bed rest too. I'm really worried about the next 10 weeks or so. I won't be able to breath until 30 weeks or so.

Lori - good luck at your u/s! I'll be stalking for an update!

Jayne - CONGRATS on being PUPO! I didn't have any to freeze this time, and we transferred at day 4 instead of 5 because the embryo didn't look good - and it worked! I've had cramping on and off through this process - I think it could mean anything. Try to ignore it! Also - Chris (to have fun) did the HCG wash before transfer and had lots of interesting info on it. She is 9 weeks pregnant now!

Patricia - Yes, Paracetamol is safe during 2ww/pregnancy. Ibuprofen/Napraxen Sodium/Optalgin are NOT. So just Tylenol. I hope it helped. A friend of mine SWEARS you can cure a headache by standing on your head -- worth a try, no?

Madame X - after 10 weeks, the baby is fully developed, and just growing and growing - the odds of loss are super low at this point - congrats!

Christy
-stay safe in that hurricane, okay? It seems sooooo far away! There hasn't been a single drop of rain here since March :D Congrats on your anniversary - we have our 7th coming up in a few weeks. Any advice on a nice thing to do?

AFM - doing great - I'm stalking here for updates on everyone!

I had an OB appt yesterday - we scheduled my cerclage for Sept 16th. I'm so nervous about the surgery, but I know it'll be best for me in the long run.

I had my blood drawn for my first trimester screening this morning. The damn woman had such a hard time getting a vein (poking both arms multiple times) - it hurt so much that without warning, I threw up all over her feet. Uh oh!

Ninde- I am glad the medication worked for your headache hopefully they stay away...

Jayne- Yes I can confirm I had awful cramping I thought for sure I would be getting a BFN and To my surprise it was a BFP... SO stay hopeful... I actually had cramping 2 months now around the time of A/F this is the first time since getting pregnant that I am not crampy at all but still no symtoms just tired :)

Hi ladies

Jayne: im not sure if i can add anything but I have definately read about women being ccrampy shortly after transer and it was sort of a settling in. How are you now?

Leora: that's definately a different way of clearing a headache!! Glad to hear all is good. How is david?

Always: im so pleased for you :D

Ker: how are you?

Afm: just mild dizzynessntoday, no headache. I hope this isnt too much info but yesterday evening I started to get a watery discharge when I wipe. Its vaginal and as im not taking the pessaries that way it cant be the progesterone. Anyone any ideas if that is normal?!
