Sunshine – Thanks for the prayers, we were back home Tuesday afternoon, I was crazy to go home and get some sleep because we ended up going to the shelter (and there is no way to sleep there )
I am glad everything is almost back to normal here. I have power, but my phone, internet, and tv are still not working.
Wow 16 eggs! That’s great! I also had 16 eggs! Hofepully that’s going to be our lucky number.Did they ICSI all your eggs to get the 9 embies?
Poor you with all the stress about your in laws seeing your house. What did you end up doing? Did you call your best friend or did you decide to have your mother in law drive you? I believe she wouldn’t care so much with your house not being perfectly organized, you have been through so much lately, your clinic is so far, all the driving and working would naturally not leave enough time to clean the house. I believe your mother in law would understand, try not to stress mama.
It’s interesting that your clinic has more success with 3 day transfers, that makes me a little less worried about my own transfer.
As for the progesterone shots, a friend of mine said she iced the area before doing the injection, then she would use a warm cloth or something else warm to spread the oil, that helped a lot, she said. Poor you, I felt your pain as you described giving yourself the injection. My friend had her husband do it for her, do you think your DH can help with that? I am using Endometrin suppositories, its so much better than Crinone, its not that messy and I don’t have the build ups. With Crinone, I had so much build-up that It was painful. My husband had to help me remove some of that, sooo embarrassing.
Nicole – Hope you are feeling better.
Anton – Have have you been?
AFM – Got a cold and a sore throat, I just hope it doesn’t affect the embryos. I have been checking my temperature and I don’t have fever (thank God). I started cramping last night, Last time I had cramping too and ended up with a BFN with AF showing up before my BETA day.
