TBH with you, nothing really guarantee a success in IVF no matter how promising it might seem. However, it is clinically believed that each process increases the chance of your success as the medication, monitored cycles and all other things included in the treatment regime tend to set your reproductive physiology to it's optimum - improving a bit of it in the process. As for me, I had success with IVF after having had failed 2 attempts and would strongly recommend that you should stay strong and keep trying. Also, recently I came across a lady in one of the forums who shared that she was unable to conceive for over 6 years and had 3 failed IVF attempt (with 1 early pregnancy loss during the IVFs after which she decided to take a break). The reason for her infertility was mentioned as less no of eggs even with all the stimulations and the poor quality of the embryo. It was rather strange yet hopeful that she decided to take a break from the rollercoaster and conceived her twins during that time naturally. I asked her if she has seen improvements while in the process to reassure that it was indeed the whole IVF thing that helped somehow and she said that the nos of egg in the third retrieval almost doubled and that she still have 4 frosties left from the 3rd one. Even in my case, I'd say I wasn't sure it's gonna work with the 3rd - the PCOS left some deep routed problems, the egg quality wasn't any good, the stims wasn't much help in the first IVF, my lining was just 8.1 (Dr wasn't satisfied at all). Last but not least, the failures were a huge deprivation and devastation that almost made me emotionally unstable (that is not good for conceiving) - yet it did work when I guess I was hoping for it but least expecting it. So, go ahead with optimism for the second round for you never know when success awaits you.

I'll pray that you get bundle of joy soon enough, good luck!
