Hi Paige
Hope you're feeling all well now. Have you had the results from the amnio yet?
Hi Alicia
How did it go with the nuchal translucency? Have you had your results back yet?
My doctor gave me my results immediately... the chromosome 21 risks for someone my age are around 1 in 566, and from the test, he saw that it was reduced further to 1 in 4229... he recommended no further treatment- and only wants to see me every 4 weeks now.
I had my 16 week check-up this week... and as they were taking so long in the lab to return the blood results (the fact that they do it immediately here in Germany is AMAZING in itself, for those of you who know the NHS!!!)... he asked if I wanted to have a quick ultrasound (he wasn't going to do one). Of course, I said yes.. and it's beautiful!!
www.boycieandmarlene.com/Bernie1 if you want to have a look.
He said that we should be able to tell by the next ultra-sound if we're having a little prince or little princess... I'm sooooo excited!!
How are the rest of you getting on? How often are you having checkups? How big are your bumps getting?? I'm wearing mine with PRIDE!!!
The doc said that DH should start being able to feel the kicking in the next 2 to 4 weeks... by the movements I feel, I am positive that we have another little David Beckham on our hands here!!
Write soon and let me know how you're all getting on.
Take care and give your bumps a stroke from me!
