Hi Ladies and Bumps
Hope you all had a good Christmas... we definitely did. My parents came over from England- and we visited the Christmas markets... it snowed especially, and looked absolutely fabulous, despite being ABSOLUTELY freezing... about -6°C!!! And I couldn't even drink any gluehwein to keep me warm!
Ang, I know what you mean about dry skin... if anything I was always used to greasy skin, but I keep getting rashes on my face from dry skin... and my scalp is all flakey too... it's hideous!! Still, it'll all be worth it! I must have spent a fortune on face masks and creams (or dip, as DH likes to call it!) but it doesn't seem to be working.
Alicia, I'm glad that your doctor finally listened to you, so that you can start taking it a bit easy. How are you feeling now? Are you looking forward to your holiday??? Lucky you!! I'm off to England for two weeks in January (the closest I'll get to a swimming costume is if I decide to go to the local swimming pool!!!)- I'm really looking forward to catching up with friends and family- and will then be working in London for a couple of days too. Feel a bit guilty at leaving DH at home for over 2 weeks, to fend for himself...
Have any of you started your antenatal classes? I've booked mine- and they start on 17th Feb... the lady I spoke to sounded really friendly and asked when I was due, and said that if our little pumpkin is early we would miss some of the last courses.
I've also found somewhere that does aqua-aerobics for pregnant ladies, so will be joining that when I come back from my holiday.
My bump feels like it's really grown in the last couple of days... time for another measurement, me thinks!! The other day we could really feel where the little botty and head were... it was lovely! Have any of you had that?
Take care, write soon.
Hugs, Tanya
