Anyone on week 2 of 2ww

Post by louiser »

Hi everyone
I am currently on 2nd week of 2ww of a FET and have loads of af pains and shooting pains both sides and lower ab cramps - they were really bad in the night - am really worried, but I know they're common and must try not to analyse bla bla. Is anyone else on 2ww of a FET?

Thanks Victoria. I can't believe I'm the only one on 2ww of FET, I thought it was more common than that but thanks for your wishes. Good luck with your treatment

Hi Louise, have you checked the January buddies board? that's the place that any other 2wwers will be wishing their days away! Also the board is traditionally quiet after Christmas as so many clinics don't offer treatment in December to avoid complications with holidays.

Good luck
Debra.

Hi Debra
Thanks, I'll check that board. I'm sorry to see your embies didn't survive thawing. The same thing happened to a friend of mine - she had all the drugs, then the poor embies didn't survive the thaw. I was gutted for her.
Good luck with your next go.

Hi Ogr
Thanks for your positive wishes. This 2ww is as awful as ever - lots of shooting pains and desperate to know what is going on in there. Congratulations on your becoming a grandma in April this year.
Lots of love

Hi Louise

I don't blame you for being nervous. I was petrified before I tested last month. I will light a candle for you and say a prayer in church tomorrow. What will be will be. Sending you loads of PMA!!!!

I posted on the Babies loved and lost board about my other angel. It beggars belief doesn't it? I am so shocked, I never thought lightening would strike in the same place twice.

Best of luck sweetie.

Dagny,

I'm crying after just reading your post. No one should have to go through such heartbreak once; let alone twice. I'm so sorry. I hadn't even realized that you had done another cycle recently. And, here I am asking you how you are doing. Very stupid question under the circumstances.

I hope you can find some way of dealing with all of this. It must be so difficult. How is your DH holding up? Do you have your family there and, hopefully, plenty of support?

You know we are all here for you. Please stay in touch.

love,

Staci

Bless you Staci

I know what you mean about it happening twice. It shouldn't happen to any of us once let alone twice. My DH has been wonderful. It makes me tearful just thinking about how much he does for me and how much I love him. He is my rock and I wouldn't get through any of this without him.

I wanted to do a quiet cycle as I got so upset at all the BFN's with all my last cycle buddies. It was a terrible out come for all who tested that time bar 1. I was a lot calmer this time and had acupuncture. I have to take the positives from this horrid situation that at least I got a BFP so we know it can work and has done twice now.

What are you doing are you cycling at the moment? There are so many new names on the boards now. I feel like a newbie again!

Ok. This is now the 3rd time I have tried to post a message and, once I finish, I get a prompt requiring me to log in again then I lose everything I have typed  !!

Dagny,

I'm glad your DH has been strong for you during this.

It does seem like a good sign that you've at least been able to get to the point you have .... but I do really admire you for being able to look at things that way. I think I would just be so mad at the whole world that I wouldn't be able to see straight. I just hope your clinic can figure out what might be going on so they can resolve it. You are definitely long overdue for some good luck. I will be praying for you. Keep us posted.

As far as me, yes, I'm actually in the middle of a medicated FET right now. Things are going along good so far. I think my transfer will be Jan. 26 but will know for sure when I go in for my scan on Fri. I can't say I'm very optimistic this will work since all my frosties are morulas (had only reached Day 4 stage of development on Day 5) but the Dr. claims he wouldn't have froze them if there wasn't a decent chance...so we'll see.

Take care of yourself.

Hugs,

Staci
