Oh Sally - I'm so so sorry - that must be so hard to deal with. I know it's easy to say but you will get through it and you will be successful. I'm just sorry that you've had such a difficult time - I'll be thinking of you and sending my best wishes. Cherylxx

Hi Ladies

Debra, thanks for putting me on the list.

CC - Look nothing like Carol Smillie but can provide the Scottish accent, watched a Baby Story yesterday and they made over the nursery most of which looked not to bad but then they had lots of twine and a chandelier???? (Its a mystery)

Sounds different wendy - will certainly be a silver spoon (or rather white gold) in that baby's mouth. Have you seen 'Baby Baby' (Living TV) in mornings? There's a couple who are having twins after 7 years of IVF - quite inspirational really. I've really got to get back to work - I'm turning into my mother in law (who knows ever daytime show inside out).

Thanks for all the support everyone - I'm trying to focus on the next step (just in case) because I'm pretty sure it's not my time but I'm not being completely negative and feeling sorry for myself now - just trying to be strong and realistic. I'm excited about everyone elses results though - Joanne's next (Sunday) and then there's lots more coming - someone's going to be lucky and I'm excited for them. Plus I keep thinking well at least I'm one treatment nearer to the time when it will work for me.

Lots of positive thoughts to everyone and best wishes,

Cherylxx

Hi everyone

CC - how are you feeling now, do you still have a dodgy belly? Do you still feel like AF is coming? I think lots of people on this site have felt like that and gone on to get a positive. As far as dihorea & sickness go, I was asking about that at hospital this week, my Dad has been in hospital for the last 2 weeks and there have been outbreaks of winter vomitting so I wanted to make sure I was still ok to visit him every day and they advised not to enter the ward if pre warned but that even if you did pick up something like this it would be very unlikely that it would make a difference to your result.

Haven't watched Baby Baby yet, its only my 2nd day off, not planning on being up early many mornings though. What have you got planned for your weekend then, lots to make Monday sooner?

Hi all

Hope everyone feeling ok - last time I had IVF I took the 2nd week of 2ww off work, this time I haven't, I guess I am quite lucky in some ways as I work from home so can be flexible as and when I need to be. Missed Test Tube Babies today (!) but not too worried as pretty sure have seen it before!!!!

I have tried really hard in the past couple of days to forget about Sunday (when I do I get really panicked!) and just try and keep busy, stay calm (ha ha) and try and remain positive.........

My first attempt I had convinced myself by the end of the 1st week that it hadn't worked, I guess I just knew, this time it is much harder as I don't know what to think, sometimes I am happy and positive and sometimes I just think well I can't be that lucky as we had 3 IUI attempts which all failed and then my 1st ivf last time which failed.

I have seen comments posted on the board today about the cost of all this - we have had to pay for all of our treatment (including nearly £2k on dh's reversal!) - think to date we have spent nearly £10k and got nothing to show for it. Let's hope the government realise what a serious problem infertility is and how it affects so many of us and make funding more widely available to us all.

Take care everyone, sending LOTS AND LOTS OF PMA to everyone

Know what you mean - cost is phenomenal - somebody needs to do something. I'm going to have to sell my car I think for a third try and neighbours of ours had to move and downsize to afford treatment. It seems mad to have to pay so much for something that feels like it should be an entitlement. Talking of money - have you seen that cheeky site (advertises on here somewhere) about 'our miracle story' - it's basically someone on the make - a long story about ongoing infertility until they 'found the secret' and guess what? You have to send them $27 to discover the secret. It's shocking really what some people will do for money. Keep busy everyone and good luck with everyone's 2WW. Lots of luck to Joanne who is next to test - Go for it and let's see a big booming positive for all of us! Love Cherylxx

Note to Wendy - thanks for your response - I'm still pretty sure it's AF who's coming to visit but I think I've come to terms with it now. Nothing great planned for weekend - I've finally also come to terms with fact that I'm back at work next week and have so much to do before I go in so I guess it's a weekend of catch-up work. Still at least I'll be busy. Good luck for your 2WW - enjoy the rest and don't get too freaked out! Cherylxx
