Tears of joy or sadness?

Post by fiona_lk »

Hi all,

Hate to report that af arrived full swing last night.

Not cried yet, but hubs has had plenty of weeps for us both. How come af more bloody painful after IVF than normal? Got really heavy day at work today doing things I enjoy, luckily, so hopefully this will take my mind off things.

Hubs wanted to see 'Casablanca' on at the Plaza tonight, so might not be able to make chat - I think we'll see how we feel after work (he's got it on DVD, but wants to see it on a massive widescreen they have).

Julie and Bibby - might see you at MFS then next cycle - we'll have to co-ordinate visits :)

Oh well, another notch on the failures side, and another wrinkle on the brow.

Love you all.

Fiona xxxx

Fiona
I am so sorry that it didn't work this time - it just isn't fair. You sound like you are being incredibly brave and in control and it is good that you have a busy day planned (at least it is a Friday so you can have time at the w/e for tears). Pamper yourselves like made this w/e....you and dh deserve that more than ever.
Sending you a huge hug.
Michelle xxxxxxxxxx

Dear Fiona - I'd got my days wrong and thought it was today you were testing not yesterday, so only just logged on and read all of your thread. I literally don't know what to say (have started typing about 5 different things and deleted them) except that I'm thinking of you and know you've got the strength to get through this. Take care, Much love

Alison
