Oh Little P ... they do mess with our lives don't they ... how frustrating. Maybe they were just giving you a ball part answer ... you've been waiting days already, so it can't still be 2 weeks for the results to come back surely ..?

Sandra

I'm feeling very ashamed, I shouldn't have moaned really - compared to what some people go through 3 weeks wait for some blood test results is nothing :!:

Anyway, I shall just have to wait - there's nothing else to do.

Apologies again

Little P

Your sister sounds amazing - it must be wonderful to have her support :!: My brother is great, but hey there is really only so much information he can take

Hi Little P
I can understand your frustration about waiting but I try and chill out with dates etc and know that what will be will be and it will never be as expected but it is all for the best in the end. My clinic are very vague anyway so it helps. I will be having the same tests as you have had on 18th April and will have to play the waiting game as well. By then you should have some answers and will be able to calm me down with words of wisdom!!!

Big Hugs

Little P,
For me it was awhile back, but I think it took 4-5 weeks for the result. They had tested me after having gone through many IUIs with clomid, then with injections, then once my ivf failed(my eggs do not stimulate not even w/ drugs!)...My choice was to try IVF again with my own eggs and probably end up stopping the cycle again(about 1% chance it would work), use an egg donor, adopt , or live child-free. We used an egg donor and became pregnant w/ Bryan. We just again tried to make him a sister or brother and got pregnant but miscarring now...Each individual has different odds, different situations. Living child-free was not an option for us. We are now considering adoption. Good luck with your results and whatever you choose to do. For some of us having a child is the biggest struggle in the world, but trust me, you will be rewarded when it happens. My love, Kerry

Sorry Little P, also meant to tell you that I went to two very different infertility clinics over the past 5 years. My first one seems a lot like the one you are at, I was just at a loss for info. The notebook is an ok idea, I think, but a great clinic, like the one I have now, will tell you everything, give you info, call you back in 5 minutes, it is amazing how clinics can vary.

Little P

I will second Kerry's post - sweetie I just worry so that you don't get the info and don't get the feedback - don't be scared to change. I mean if its about a few miles oK I was too passive . if we had had our 4th clinic as our first we'd probably have minis by now - but we are now going to Barcelona - I mean Heeelllooo everything is relative

love and kisses bigJ 8)

Oh, I should have posted my results here as well ...

Hospital phoned today and results are in - I have the natural killer cells  :? - apparently they are the things that could be causing the m/c situation :!:

Oh well, looks like more drugs for me -
