Hi Sand, Et al
Had the follow up consultation today at Holly House in Buckhurst Hill and they were also sad to see the failure on this occassion. They urged us to continue as they feel we are 'Close' to a child and despite this being attempt 4, in reality it's merely attempt 1 as my wife had TB of the lower stomach/womb during the first 3 attempts and this would have caused her to never fall pregnant.
He explained Dr Beers clinic in London and outlined some of the procedures that this clinic can do which Holly House cannot. Although one of the procedures Dr Beer offers could be in excess of £10,000 so that particular treatment is a no-go for us. We intend to call Dr Beer's clinic tomorrow and see what avenues they can guide us down and then we shall make a decision on where to go from there. One thing that is for sure is that my wife is gonna take a month off from the treatment and she definately wants to start again in 1 month
Incidentally we were told by Holly House that the government have brought a ruling in that if your a couple (woman under 38 ) and have had 3 failed IVF attempts privately and have no children then the NHS will allow for 3 IVF attempts. We have an appointment with our GP tomorrow as if this is true then it's great news
My wife feels she has let me down and says that she is no good to me as she cannot give me a child so far through IVF But you know she could not be further from the truth. Having seen her go through the continued injections, legs on stirrups, egg collections, scans and all the emotional turmoil this has put her through it has made me love her even more (if that is possible) I am so proud of her for what she has done, she is so brave and I have learnt so much from her having seen the way she handles things during all this. As the husband giving your sample

and putting the money up (even though I am skint!!) is as far as I am concerned the easy bit. What your wife does is a million times more difficult and any husbands reading this post remember what your wife is going through and always appreciate her for what she is doing and most of all be PROUD
Anyway enough of my waffling on - Thanks once again to everyone for their continued support and I am in no doubt my Wife shall be back on here posting during her next IVF round very soon
