Denise is right we should use tough experiences to develop maturity.
This thread is a fab idea. Thanks for the wise words gals! I have been feeling sorry for myself lately and instead I should be focusing on the positive outcome of having a child.
Lumi - under 40's gals is a good plan.

I think under 40's sound good as I am 32 in two weeks then I can play too :!: :!:

Work is quiet this week everyone (WITH KIDS :!:  ) is off for half term :!: Not that I would understand

I too would give up the gym and ALL the other things we enjoy for a child NO PROBLEM

Have one of mine :!: That one makes me mad to  I know they don't mean it but it doesn't always help does it :?: :!:

I'm with jules - three more weeks and i'll be 32... Felt so sad cause there's an under 30 and over 40 and i fit neither :( :( :( :(

everybody else has a baby or two and we're the only ones left... and because i don't work in the same school two years o«in a row i have to keep listening to What are you waiting for? What's the matter with you too? In a few years it will be too late for you, etc, etc, etc....

Now i feel like swearing... We're not allowed to swear are we? What about D* :x ****!!!

I still think we should have one for under 40's, because I fit into none of the above, being the grand old age of 34

Rita, I like the swearing, it helps doesn't it?

Hello my Fair Ladies,

Yup, yup, this one's a really good thread.
I'm turning 30 (yipes!) this September, and by god, i wish i'll be pregnant by then... what a GRRRREAT present that'll be for me, huh? :P
My DH and i've been trying since day 1 of our marriage, and lemme tell you, girlfrens, LIFE IS HARD when everyone we know keep asking when the baby's coming.....
I mean, c'mon, right? ...... I guess some ppl jus gotta have sensitivity and the right sense to NOT ask if i'm pregnant when there's nothing baking in the oven for 5 years. Like some of you gals, I come from a large, healthy family and so does my DH, so INFERTILITY is not a common word that we use around the house prior to our marriage.
I've been oh so dying to have kids and we've been trying ever so hard at making babies. Yep, we've been on countless holidays to have some R&R too.

When my family and friends have babies, it's a bittersweet experience for us. We share their joy, of coz, but it's tinged with sadness, every single time. Now, c'mon and tell me that you can relate to that.......

I guess my baby stork is held up by some bad weather.

Having said that, POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE, everyone! :))

Chanteq - I reckon everyone here can relate and sympathise with your words about sensitivity or lack of. It is the most annoying thing - people just don't understand that a flippant comment here and there can cut so deeply with some of us.

I like the idea of bad weather just delaying the stork - I hope my storms are clearing and by the end of next month the sun will make the stork deliver that good news to me :D

Jules - 34, but DH keeps telling me that I only look about 24 so I'm happy with that. When we go on holiday DH gets teased about having a child bride

Hope all you girls are ok.
