Jules, excellent work!!!! They say the perfect weight loss is 1 pound a week. Anymore and it's probably stress or water etc and will bounce straight back on. One pound is ideal, well done! Wish I'd lost one pound....
I guess, given I've made such a big fuss about tomorrow being my kick-off date, I should weigh myself in the morning and actually try to be healthy LOL! There are LOADS of things I could do to help. Walk in all my spare time (I work part time so have no excuse), at least start to work on my upper arms with summer round the corner. I could even walk up and down my stairs 50 times a day, boring as h*ll but better than nothing, and free! My goal will be 3kgs/7lbs over the next 8 weeks until tmt begins. I've a long holiday in there too so it will be tough but I can do it! More importantly, I'll include some exercise every day, even if it's only sit-ups in the living room.
I've asked my parents to bring a pedometer over with them on Friday. I plan to drag them for walks in our lovely woods so will be testing it out over the weekend I hope. I also hope that if I'm wearing it, I'll be tempted to stand and walk around whist I teach vs. sit on my ever-widening bum!!
