I am busy - mostly busy avoiding work

I can get on this site more during half term and other school holidays because everyone is off and there is no one near to see me (as they don't know!!)

Well think I will go home now and think about weather I am going to the gym :?: :!:

How are you today :?:

Ah again i should be marking papers and don't really feel like it! :(

Jules, you're right, there's so much people around here these days you can't keep track!

No ideas as far as tmt is concerned... still waiting for lighting to strike our heads and say - this is it!!! Dh is really, really busy and we're not sure of ourselves either on what to do. So we have been doing the coward thing - claiming we're too busy to make a decision... I hope our minds clear up a bit during holidays. It's so damn hard figuring out the right thing to do...

When are you moving Jules?

Lp know you're scan's tomorrow...

BTW how's Nicki? REally worried about her... And wishing i could really hug her

Hi Rita

Waiting for AF in June (hopefully) then wating again for it in July - day one in July I will phone the hospital and hopefully start downregging in august as long as they are not too busy because then you have to wait another month ahhhh :!: :!:

Mean time we have an appointment with the consultant to talk about last time and what they will do next time. First time (last year) I didn't get to EC because my hormone levels were soooo high, this time different drugs and less and I only had 7 eggs (I know that is ok - but the first time the follicles were soo much bigger!!) The -ve on the 13th May hit me hard - just coming out of the gloom now (thanks to this board). We are lucky as we haven't suffered a lot of the problems others do just to get this far DH had testicular cancer so we had some test (well he did) and got on the list without me having ANY test.

Well I will stop - sorry I could go on forever

I know what you mean about Nicki - sometimes you feel useless - but jsut knowing people are here is enough AND understand

Got to go

LOL

Good place to vent Jules

This is an excellent place to vent Jules.

Safe, with no risk of offending those of us who want to do the same thing.

AAAAaaaahhhhh!

That's feels a little better

Yep, what do they really know!?!?!?! At least almost all of my friends are pg or have already had their babies which is good... The sight of pg bellies is something i still have to cope with... I keep staring and it's very embarassing!

Dh also had cancer - Hodgkin's but he was too young to have anything collected! :(

Gotta go... have one class at 12.45 and need to prep something!

See ya

Jules

Reading your note made me smile, my SIL said that to me 2 years ago after falling pregnant with her 2nd (she conceived my nephew first month after coming off the pill!!), told me to relax and it would happen naturally, after all she stopped worrying after 4 months and she got pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! And she knew all about the problems we were having    :!: :!: :!:

It hasn't stopped me loving my nephew or niece dearly but it is hard when people say things like that

Joanne

Rita - enjoy your class

My mom met a lady who went through IVF for 6 years

Post by DeniseM »

Just thought I'd share this bit with you guys.

My mom called tonight, she met a lady today pushing twins. Lo and behold they started talking about IVF. This lady tried for 6 years before conceiving her twins - and said it was definitely worth it.

Mind you, I hope not to be doing this for six years, but every little ray of sunshine is important these days.

Nicki

Enjoy your hols, I certainly feel much more relaxed since I had mine (mind you I kind of wish I was still there with all this rain we are having here :( :!: )

Denise

There have been times in the past when I have been ready to give in and then you hear of a success story and it just inspires you to keep going :!:

Here's hoping we all get our little bundles of joy - and soon :!:

Hello Girls,

Now how many of you ladies here have heard stories of couples miraculously conceive naturally after trying years and years and thousands of dollars to start a family?....oh and how about stories of couples suddenly getting pregnant the moment they sign adoption papers?.....
I mean.... wow!! ..... these aren't urban legends to me anymore.
Some of these miracle stories are widely publicised and not so much old-wives' tales anymore.
I kinda like listening to such stories.... at least it gives me a glimmer of hope in facing my own reality.
...Haha.. my own grandma also likes re-telling me the story of how a certain distant greataunt many years ago conceived after 5 years and then proceeded to have babies consecutively the next 7 years! eeeeew...

LOL :P :P :P :P :P
