Hi everyone! Glad to hear the websites I found have been helping people.
Susie & JudeM:
I'm so excited you could see the baby moving. I can't wait for my scan next week. Hopefully my baby will be moving too. I think that will be really cool.
Kim:
Thanks for the website. I really liked looking at the sonogram pictures. It kinda gives you an idea of what to expect. This is all so exciting.
BigJ:
Glad to hear you are doing better. I'm sure it was such a relief to see the baby. I know that was the biggest relief for me. I was sure there was going to be nothing there. I think that's how a lot of us feel.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!!

Glad to hear you are feeling better and things are going smoother for you these days. I actually requested a blood test today because I convinced myself that I am not still pregnant. Results come back this afternoon. Guess I am going a little crazy over here.
I feel very good every day. Just tired in the evenings. A girl at work is pregnant and is sick, tired and nausiated. I don't feel any of these things. I eat well and have not gotten any food aversions. My DH said consider yourself lucky for now. My boobs were getting bigger, but have slowed down so that scares me also! So I figure when I get the results this afternoon, it will buy me some (confidence) time before next week's ultrasound. Whatever it takes I guess.
Joy
Best of luck to you on Monday and everyone is right, HCG levels are all over the board. Take care of yourself this weekend.

Susie and Kim - Fantastic news about your scans!! So pleased for you!
Sher8 - Hope your blood test went well, I'm so sure everything is great as everyone seems so different with symptoms but of course it is so hard to not worry! I saw one of my friends this week who had no symptoms whatsoever, so much so she was able to work in a super-busy restaurant up until she had 5 weeks to go!!!! Just goes to show how different we all are, it will be so much easier when we start to get big bellies!! Hope you are ok and all went ok.
Joy - Thinking of you for Monday..
Hi to everyone else too! Hope you are all doing great.
Love Kel xx
Everything is fine. . .just a little worried. My HCG levels are doing great and I cannot wait until next Friday. I think the clinic thought I was crazy requesting another test, but it sure helped put me at ease. Having very few symptoms. Had my first bout with nausea this a.m. Careful what you wish for I guess. . .
Hope everyone is doing well and for some of you those bellies will be showing soon, if not already.

So glad your blood test put you at ease. I remember doing some HPT while waiting for my first scan. You just need something to remind you that you are still pregnant because its still so unreal isnt it?
Not long to wait until your scan now! It's amazing when you see it for the first time!
Take care
Love Kim.

Just want to wish Joy good luck for your scan tommorrow. Ultrasound scan is much more informative as to what is actually going on than your HCG levels. Hope its good news and puts your mind at rest.
Hope everyone else is doing ok and looking forward to hearing all about your scans this week!
Take care everyone
Love Kim.

Hi
I ended up having a scan on Sat instead because I had bad pains that started on friday and were still there on sat. We saw a sac and yolk sac but no fetus or heartbeat. It could have possibly been too ealry. ( exactly 6 weeks that day) or this may not be good. I am waiting for the doc to call back and set up another scan for me which I imagine would be some time towards the end of this week.
I really feel for you having to go through all this. It still is early days and this is probably why scans are done later in some places. According to the ultrasound website I mentioned earlier, a yolk sac is 'definate evidence of a true gestational sac'. When I had my 1st scan at 6 wks 3 dys, the embryo attached to it was approx 2mm - a lot can happen in 3 dys and you also dont know when your embryo implanted.
Take care of yourself
Love Kim

Kim,
I talked to my cousin, he is an obgyn and he said that the fact that there is a gestational sac and a yolk sac is great.
He also said that it is really early and not to lose hope. so YAY.!
I go in for another scan on Friday, I will be 6weeks 6 days on Friday.
Lil P and Jude thank you for your happy wishes, I still have PMA and lots of hope!!
So happy you could join us for a scan this Friday. I hope everything goes well and it sounds like it is still a bit early. My doctor suggested to have one at 7 weeks to make sure I got a better picture of things.
Hang in there,
Sher

Well, I had my long awaited scan today. Guess what - IT'S TWINS
They are both doing great and sat nice and high in the uterus, which is good. The hosptial are slightly concerned about an implantation bleed, so I'm having another scan in two weeks. They said not to worry - yeah right
They've put me at 7weeks+4 days.
Joy, Please try not to worry. Good Luck for Friday.
