Sher,
Are you going for a scan Friday too??
They are doing both vaginal and abdominal . gotta say I hate having to hold in the 32 oz of water while they are poking around on my belly.

Suz

That's fantastic news - you & DH must be delighted.

Sounds like there's quite a few of us expecting twins around the same time!

Hi everyone

Joy suggested I come over to 1st trimester friends after being on the May 2ww with her and Big J. I got my BFP on 1st June.

I am heading for my first scan tomorrow (6 weeks) and I must admit to being rather nervous about it.

We have been away for the last 10 days which is why I haven't been posting. All is well and I haven't been feeling sick (good/bad?) but mega hungry most of the time...

Joy, good luck with your next scan and Suz, well done on twins.

Hey ladies,

question, do you all find yourself MUCH MUCH more emotional than you usually are ( let's face it we are women so we are always emotional.)

I find myself crying over the stupidest stuff. Over just regular daytime TV like this show called ambush makeover. Oh and I cried the whole time in church on Sunday .....what is happening to me. ARG

Hope everyone is doing wonderfully.

Hi everyone

Welcome to Clare and congratulations on your BFP!!
Good luck with your scan tommorrow-cant wait to hear your news on what you saw! Dont worry about not having nausea at the moment, once it starts you'll know about it! Or you might be lucky and not have it. Ive had friends who have had healthy pregnancies and babies and not suffered at all.

Joy - As far as emotions go I tend to find im more irritated than normal. Noise seems to set me off! Quite bizarre. I surpose at least I can blame it on the hormones!

Kel and Minnow - Good luck with your scans. You will be amazed at the difference. Minnow you'll be approx 9.5 wks wont you? It will be amazing!

Mil - Hope your scan went well today - cant wait to hear your news!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. Me and DH have celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary today. Nice relaxing day, pub lunch. Without the alcohol for me! (By the time I have a drink again I will probably fall over after one!).

Take care
Love Kim

Dear All

The scan went well this morning which was a great relief. There's one in there with a heartbeat so I was thrilled with that. (Not sure if I could have coped with two!).

I'm back there in two weeks' time before they discharge me.

Hope everyone is feeling OK today.

Joy - I'm not so much emotional as constantly ratty and bad tempered. So, a lovely person to live with! Kim, congrats on your 2nd anniversary. Ours is coming up in a couple of weeks' time too.

Well done on the scan - that's a huge relief for you and fantastic news.

It must have been like watching a miracle seeing that little bundle for the first time.

Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy.

Love and hugs

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is doing well.

Suz:
Congrats on the twins. I am sure you are so excited and scared at the same time. I know I would be. :D It will be a load of fun!

Clare:
Welcome & congrats on the BFP. :D :D Glad you joined us. Glad to hear your scan went well. The next scan will be even more exciting. My first scan was amazing but the 2nd was even more amazing.

Well I had my scan yesterday at 8 1/2w and boy was it cool! I can't believe how much the baby changed from 6w until now. It actually looks like a little baby and I got to see him/her move 3 or 4 times. I just cried and cried. I still can't believe this baby is growing inside me. She also released me from her care so now I can see my regular OBGYN.

The heartbeat was 172 which the doctor said is normal. I asked her if there is any truth to what people had been telling me about the heartbeat (Girl if under 150 and boy if over 150) and my doctor said no. Anyone know anything you can tell from the heartbeat?

I am starting to show a little. I am wearing my first maternity dress today. I can still fit in a few pair of pants but not many. :?

Good luck on everyone’s scans coming up.
