Lumi, lovely to hear from you again. Enjoy your last days at work and keep resting.

Cheryl, sorry to hear your in a lot of pain. Get plenty of rest - you might find a hot water bottle helps. Make the most of it as it'll be banned after ET! Good luck for tomorrow. I hope you get a good crop of nice healthy embies.

Michelle, glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. I can imagine that painting the skirting could be quite therapeutic. I found myself cleaning out the veg box at the bottom of the fridge (a bit a yuchy job) which had the same effect. Maybe the house will get a gentle going over in the next week!

BigJ thanks for your message, it means so much that you are wishing us well and offering words of wisdom after everything you have been through. Best of luck for your appointment in a couple of days, i really hope your dream will come true one day soon.

Well, today is the day that my AF is due and i've still got 5 long days til my test date. I'm having the low down pains i usually get right before i start, lost count of the amount of times i've run to the loo this morning to check but nothing as of yet, i'm thinking about just moving the pc and telly into the bathroom so i don't wear out my carpet running back and forth all day  . I'm a nervous wreck just now. My head is all over the place.
I'm still in my nightie so i think it's about time i made a move and get dressed.
I'll check in later and keep you posted.
Take care and hope everyone else isn't losing it as much as me at the moment.
Lotsa love

Michelle, keep hanging in there! AF hasn't shown up when she's due and that's gotta be a good sign.

Sammy, I know it's a long week, but if it's any consolation, we had ET on the same day and I have to wait 2 EXTRA DAYS!!!

Seems to have finally stopped raining here so I'm going to have my potter round town this afternoon. I'm getting cabin fever indoors all the time!

Hi to everyone else

Hiya, me again.
Still no sign of AF but i have been in floods of tears this afternoon.
A woman from the Council came to my door saying they were following up on a complaint they have received. Someone has been down to the Council complaining we have too many cats. She said we will have a letter sent out and will be told we have to get rid of some of them. How could someone be so callous to go to the Council?
We have a neighbour with a dog the size of a horse that's let loose to run about the street and terrorise people, there are lots of other neighbours with a million kids between them who are left outside to run wild, the people with the dog/horse take over the culdesac carpark to run an on the side car repair service and constantly blast out music til all hours but yet no complaints have been made about all this.
We are just an ordinary hardworking couple (we seem to be the only ones in our street where both partners go out to work), we are not trouble makers and keep ourselves to ourselves, we want nothing more than a family and at the moment our cats are our babies, it's just tearing me apart that because of one person our little "family" will be taken away from us.
This is really the last thing i needed at this time.
Sorry to bore you all with my worries. I just don't know what to do. I phoned DH at work and said we'll deal with it when the letter arrives and that no-one will take our kitties from us.
Sorry again, take care all.
Lotsa love

Some people are just insensitive useless %*%*£)*%$£)*$£)$)£($)£($! (That doesn't stand for anything apart from lots of naughty swear words :!: ).

I had a problem with my neighbour who said I let my dogs run round the neighbourhood (they are ALWAYS on the lead when outside), it turned out that she was p*ssed off cos my dog had barked at her son when he had tried to climb into our garden to get his ball back

Try not to worry too much, hopefully things will get sorted.

Hope you are feeling a bit better soon

To the rest of you 2ww (Cheryl, I've PM'd you!) hope you are all feeling ok, I've been given the go-ahead to start stimming now so it will be my turn soon  , let's hope for lots and lots of :D for the rest of the month

Crikey, what is it with some people - can't they just keep their noses out of other people's lives!!!

It sounds to me like you have a wonderful DH who will make sure that nobody threatens your lovely family. At this precise moment, this is cr*p that you can well do without, try really hard to forget about it and stay focused on the importance of the next few days and the little one(s).

Afterall the kitties are looking forward to having some new playmates :D

Jules and I will arrange for the boyz   :x   to hit town and deal with the nasty neighbours :!:

Take care of yourself and have a good hug with DH tonight when he gets home.

Sending you loads of hugs, love and PMA

Cheryl, well done on EC. I am sure you will have some lovely little embies. :D

Love to everyone else. I am feeling okay. Term has ended, so although I will go to work tomorrow there are no children so it will be bliss! I spend half my life trying to get rid of them amd the other half trying to create one!!    Little darlings....

Hi Michelle

Im sure they cannot make you rehome some of your cats just because you have a few. One woman I work with has about 20 cats at the moment. She does a lot of rehoming, but some of these cats are not really 'rehomable' so she has kept them. Cats are not like dogs which can make a lot of noise\cause damage etc(as you say your neighbours dog does, and I know legally dogs should not be roaming the streets). Im sure, unless they can prove that the cats are illtreated or suffering (and you obviously love your cats, so this isnt an issue) they cannot take them away. Im afraid even though I have a veterinary nurse background, I dont know the legal situation re this, but it doesnt sound right to me.
Take care and look after yourself. Dont let them get to you.
Love Kim
NB- was this woman definatly from the council??

Hi girls,
Thank you for your words of support, i'm feeling a lot better now.
Been out in the garden talking to my next door neighbours (the only couple in our street i like and bother talking to) they couldn't believe the nerve someone had to report us. They said if it comes down to it, they will tell the council one of our cats is theirs and that it keeps coming to our house because her mother and father lives here (which is true, my grey male cat got my white female cat pg last year and we kept a grey and white kitten, we also have a black and white cat who not so long ago had kittens but have found homes for them all), so how can 4 cats be classed as too many?
Michael (my DH) and Mark (next door) spoke on the phone and have come up with a cunning plan, they are going to sit out in the garden when Michael finishes work and have a few beers and talk very loudly about this and make some noise and hopefully get somone outside moaning about the noise, they reckon if somone comes out then they are who reported us, men eh  any excuse for a few beers, lol.

Little P - thanks for the offer of getting the boyz out, might take you up on the offer if Michael's cunning plan doesn't work

Kim - yes it was definately a woman from the council, she's a housing officer

Lumi and Joanne - thanks for your messages, i'm feeling a bit better now.

Anyways, sorry about going waaaay off topic.
Back on topic now and AF STILL hasn't appeared which i'm really hoping is a good sign, this is day 13 and i'm so tempted to do an HPT which is in my bathroom cabinet but Michael will be so mad if i do, he says i have to wait for the clinic to do the test on Monday (which is day 18). This is kinda reminding me of what i'm like in the run up to christmas, i'm so impatient and hate not knowing, it's driving me crazy.
Michael is home at 8pm so i better get a move on and make tea.
I'll check in tomorrow and keep you updated on the AF situation.
Hope everyone is well and trying to keep sane
Take care
Lotsa love

Oh you 2ww gals you crack me up

firstly, it's Ok coz LP has the special to get the boyz   8)  out - they are well 'ard and my granny was a cockney so any one who needs them just let me know, coz me and LP had good success wiv vem  so Michell if you need 'em you say right??? We have 4 dogs a cat and so many fish in so many tanks that I don't look at the electrickery bill anymore. How can 4 cats be 2 many??? Your bloke has a good plan, hope it works.....keep us posted OK???

As 4 the knicker checks, part of the deal, the boyz reckon AF is not coming so you can spare the carpet  dont touch the HPT all it does is says if there is enough HCG there to trun a line blue or not - wait for the real test, early hpt has NO MEANING but stress and doubt...

Lumi hope the patches are doing their thing - bugger when it's hot as you sweat and they get bubbles...another day gone, and another day when the embies feel at home ...

Sammy, Cheryl just big hugs and I know this sounds potty (I am a completely potty) but do enjoy this 2ww, Debra Pthat to me when I was on mine, and now I know aht she meant. Limbo is worse, now is exciting, now is when your little ones are bedding in....

Love and the biggest hugs
